My wife and I did some marriage counseling and decided we wanted to get a divorce for sure. It's actually not a bad environment to start discussing the details. You might as well go and just be honest about how you feel. I don't think it will fix your marriage, but if it did that would be cool. You might learn something that will help you in a future relationship. So go for it. As a side note. People always say stuf indicating that they just assume I'll be looking for girlfriend soon but I can't imagine wanting to be in a serious relationship again. I mean why would I want someone to get mad at me because I didn't do this or that. Im old now so dating someone my age is dating an old lady and let's face it old people sex is just gross. I just don't see dating as something that would lead to good things for me.

It's your ex wife who is upset and the kids pick up on that and get upset themselves. Just try to talk to them honestly about it. Eventually they will understand but it may take a while. It will be harder for the 17 year old.

Yeah I really hope mine remarries. It just seems so unfair that if you're wife becomes so unpleasant to be around you still have to pay for her to live if you don't want to be around her anymore.
