| 0 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceHow on gods green earth would you know if it’s affected me? | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 07:20 PM |
| -1 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceYup. Because I thought that comment was silly. Nothing unequal about marital assets being split in half IMO. Men make more than women do on average, so of course it if you’re dividing things equally on divorce it would seem to “favor” women. And if a woman is the primary caretaker for children - Fuck yeah she deserves “mommy support”. Anyway. I’d subscribed to this subreddit as angsty teenager I’ve just lurked out of curiosity since then as my views have changed and matured. Time to get my ass o… | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 07:12 PM |
| -2 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceMy guy, no inequality or bias was brought up here. That’s what I’m saying. The law treats men and women equally in a divorce, no I have no idea what this settlement has to do with men’s rights. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 06:41 PM |
| -2 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceNot implying anything should be legal just because it currently is. My point is more that is has nothing to do with gender or men’s rights. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 04:31 PM |
| -8 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceBased on the comments here “bud”, it certainly seems like people don’t understand. This is a men’s rights subreddit, which would imply y’all think the result of of the settlement is somehow gendered. But as it’s just the law… Not sure what you’re driving at. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 04:30 PM |
| -1 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceThe implication of this post is that she’s getting a certain payout because she’s a woman, that Pitt wouldn’t have gotten in the reverse. My point is that the only thing that happened was the law was followed - Nothing to do with gender. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 04:21 PM |
| -27 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceYes it literally does. That’s the law. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 02:03 PM |
| -24 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceSomething tells me if your wife was worth 400m and you got divorced, you’d want a piece of that pie. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 12:08 PM |
| -38 | Angelina Jolie walks away $80 million richer after Brad Pitt divorceThat’s literally how the law works. Unless there’s a prenup, it’s split upon divorce, because they share the money. He’s worth more. Do the math. Edit: Downvoting the comment won’t make it incorrect :) | /r/MensRights | 04/01/25 12:07 PM |
