Yea no. I come from a tradcon family and most of the women are deeply unhappy but stick around since they’ve built their identity around being a wife/mother. Trad conservatism imposes tons of restrictions for women and practically none for men. I’m so glad those values are largely obsolete now

She has actually told me petty much exactly what you said in your last sentence so it’s even more infuriating. And she doubled down on his attacks. I mean I don’t know any other way to interpret this behavior other than “I don’t give a fuck about you”. I’ve tried so hard to under and accommodate her and this hurts a lot.
