In addition to runs on nice days and yoga to clear my head and stretch out my muscles, I do a home video workout regularly - The Slim in 6 video series by BeachBody is AMAZING! It comes with three discs to get you performing the moves with correct form before ramping up the intensity/complexity. It incorporates aerobic and weightlifting and targets all the major areas - legs, butt, abs, arms, back, even the dreaded "muffin top" area. Choose the "no music" setting and pump your favorite beats. Ne…

I agree with a poster above - don't write off your crock pot! My SO loves them - he actually turned me on to them and I've made all kinds of things in them including pot roast, stuffed peppers, Thai chicken thighs. All have been a hit! I follow the paleo lifestyle and have found great recipes on paleomg.com, civilizedcavemancooking.com, and paleopot.com.

when you genuinely miss him, say so, and don't seek attention or shit-test him to see if he misses you too This is great advice and something a girl needs to hear. So thanks for this awesome reminder :)

Yeah I don't think I'd ever visit someone without talking to them about it first

He's not that type. We waited a while and I'd say my sex drive is higher than his to be honest.

Even for a short time? I really want to believe this isn't true.

Crockpot meals are golden. Seriously! Set it and forget it and it's usually a hit!

Would love to see this! Thank you for resurrecting. Especially useful since my semester is over and I have more time to dedicate to self-improvement :)

Thank you! I see how contact overload would be counterproductive.

Yes, I am wary of the "clingy" territory too. Things are a bit tricky since we are in the same program and people have a tendency to gossip, but every time we have talked about "us," I am confident we feel the same way about each other. Like I said though, he's not much of a talker so I don't press those "official" terms. It's not important to me to verbalize everything either to be honest. I trust him :) Also, make a note of things he finds interesting to talk about when you guys call/text/what…

Okay, I will try searching those too. In terms of food, he's easy! We are both pretty healthy eaters though so I will sometimes bring him some of the new paleo snacks I find at the store. I could pick up some of those or make my own energy bars maybe. He likes fishing, camping, tennis, animals, chill music.... Thanks for all your help. You're very sweet!

I love this idea! He's not a huge fan of sweets though. Any ideas on other items that may not go bad in shipment? I'll check Pinterest too :)

That's very sweet! What a nice memory. I can already think of a couple things he'd love to do when I visit, so maybe I can plan it ahead. Thanks!

I've been lurking for about six months. Learning a lot, but still struggle applying it to my current dating situation. Thanks for all the great advice so far :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
