For me to get into medical school I have to have two letter grades and 10 points higher on the MCATs to have an equal chance of getting in. Do you have evidence backing that assertion up? As far as I know, med school admissions are only segregated by race, not by gender.

Classic terrible advice from a female, with no solution provided. Okay, you want me to elaborate on it? I feel like from what I've read here and on r/seduction, most of you are going around picking up women at bars and clubs, where the female demographic is going to be different than it is in real life. Only a certain kind of girl is frequenting these places, and perhaps, just perhaps, most of them are lacking the things that you are looking for. Loyal, feminine, attractive, and emotionally stab…

I went back and reread your post and while I now see the distinction you made between related and unrelated women, I'm still not convinced that women can't be giving or altruistic to unrelated women. Have you ever been in the bathroom and asked a stranger for a pad or tampon? Without the kindness of female strangers, I would have been SOL so many times in my life. I've also been through a visible breakup where women I met on the street reached out to me and sat down to comfort me about it. I don…

I'm a Bio major. My classes are pretty well split 50/50 between male and female. My boyfriend is in chemical engineering and while girls are still the minority, they're about 1/3 of his class. Why don't you look beyond your own major before presenting a skewed belief as fact using data that does not even support your belief. Also, wow, good for you for telling a stranger that you don't think her relationship will work without knowing anything else about her or her partner. I'm glad we can debate…

Also, as I've pointed out multiple times, your numbers don't back anything up. You're jumping to a false premise with no logical progression in between.

Lol, I must be a man then since I'm headed to med school and am expected to make more than my boyfriend in the future (making me primary provider). All of my pre-med and engineering women friends must be men too. Just disregard all of the women who don't fit in with what you want to see huh.

Luckily, the number of stay-at-home dads is increasing. My best friend's dad is one of them.

No, the solution is encouraging more women to go into STEM majors.

This is what I'm failing to understand about TRP. On the one hand, you guys say that women naturally marry up in order to be provided for as if that is something bad all women do. Then you admit that you want to be the provider for a woman who fits into traditional gender roles. Which is it? Also if you're having such a hard time finding a woman who fits those general traits you seek them maybe you're just not looking in the right place. Trust me, loyal feminine women are everywhere.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think there are certain traits that are fundamentally human and are not gender-exclusive. The ability to empathize with another human being is one of them. The ability to experience loss, fall in love, form parental attachments. They're all human. We may go about them in slightly different ways, but at the end of the day, we're not talking about an entirely different species when we mention the opposite sex. If guys and girls can be such good friends, then…

i believe true friendship with unrelated women is simply not a natural thing for women, and that it is a male thing, based in male traits like the ones i spelled out. women arent defective for not having these male traits, they just arent males. I just think your definition of friendship is very limiting. If you're going to couch it in terms of how males define friendship then yeah, we're not going to fit, but that doesn't mean the way females relate to each other isn't friendship. It's just a d…

Yes, our friendships are different, but that doesn't mean we don't have friendships at all (which is what the person I'm replying to is arguing).

I wrote a lengthy explanation of why thought it was everyone. that you don't Like the conclusion I come to doesn't in any way show to me that it's just American nor make an argument against what I said Can you reword this? It makes no sense as it is now.

It's not natural to you, but that doesn't mean other women can't have true friends. I know women who say that they don't trust other women or claim to not have any women friends. Usually, after I've gotten to know them for a while, I figure out why. They approach friendships like they're competitions in every aspect of life, especially when it comes to guys. It gets to the point where other women don't want to be their friend. And then they come to the conclusion that the reason why they don't h…

It's because colleges try to sell the idea that you should study what you're passionate about and do what makes you happy. Well that's great if you're passionate about engineering or accounting, but not so good if your passion is English or philosophy. The end result is that people will spend four years studying a bullshit major, then realize once they're seniors that there are no jobs out there for their major. Then they end up going back for extra semesters/years to pursue a more realistic maj…

I'm not saying that this isn't about choice. I'm just pointing out that going from data showing that men are in STEM fields and women are in humanities to this notion you have that men are forced by society to be providers while women can just expect to be provided for is a big leap to make. And it's not one that you have a whole lot of evidence to back up. It's definitely an interesting question to ponder and one that has been tackled again and again by psychologists and women in STEM fields. M…

As a woman, this is something I wish all the men here would read. Assholes don't get the women they get because we love that behavior. They just put themselves out there more. All the women in a club will be aware of a creepy asshole and trust me, that's not a good thing. We will warn our friends about the skeezy guy who's hitting on everything and thinks he's God's gift, and it will only make your work harder. It's only the desperate women who end up going home with him because they know he's a…
