“Theater” has a much different connotation than “community theater”. Community theater as a term is mostly a punchline for bad theater. Not saying there’s not women there, but just the idea that it and “slam poetry” are the top 3 places to go show off just struck me as almost trolling.

But you specifically said - things that attract women

He also denied paternity, which is a much different situation. Again, also, another billionaire in an idiosyncratic situation. If the child should stay with the parent who can provide without outside assistance, then the daughter should’ve gone to Steve. But he didn’t want her. So what is the court to do? Should they make the same richer parent take the child? If the rich parent just doesn’t want the kid, then no child support and we pay for it? I mean, I think the divorce attorneys would absolu…

Not backtracking. Ok you’re right, they’re synonyms. I mean passion as in care for the person. The point is that the first month of sex together isn’t gonna be the same after 10 years. Are you saying that it should be? Or that someone is being deceitful because the sex isn’t the same after all that time?

The political stance of “government welfare” and “no child support” are just incompatible. So you’re saying if Bezos (or another wealthy person) just decided he didn’t want to pay child support you’d be ok with your tax dollars going to his kid? It kind of has everything to do with money. If money is not the issue, then the whole discussion of alimony, child support, wealth transfer wouldn’t even be on the table. It would just be abt what’s best for the child. Or sacrificing their wellbeing in o…

Oh boy... I mean if your casual relationships are getting thorny cause they wanna get married, you gotta move on. Or get married and have an open relationship. Or just keep voting republican and support the truth!!!

Then they don’t get married. Most TRPers would be lucky to be in a spot where someone actually wants to marry them. And lack of lustfullness doesn’t mean there’s no passion or that sex still insbt great. It’s just not gonna be like brand new, even if you work and have perfect relationship.

The richest guy in the world. Very relatable. And all that notwithstanding, he did cheat on her. If you’re paying an insane amount in alimony, you can probably afford it, again, judgment withheld on alimony and how it’s awarded. If a woman wants to sleep with you cause of your money, isn’t that great? Just as great if she wants to sleep with you cause you’re hot but mean. But not as great as wanting to sleep with you cause you’re ugly and poor, am I right?? People with shared custody pay child s…

Umm.. don’t get married? Not sure why it has to be done away with. Don’t do it. Then again if it’s abolished you’d have a better excuse, so I get it man.

And what is she after? Money? Move to an actual city and date women who make money. The notion that so many guys on here have that women only fuck good for a guy’s money is laughable. One, because it’s just not happening and isn’t even a possibility for the vast majority of ppl. In that a guy would be so dense to get in a long term relationship with someone who’s obviously scamming them, get married and then be in the financial position to be paying alimony.

Exactly. Ideations of a person based solely on physical appearance only last so long. If you’re a total dick on a first date, no matter how attractive you are, your odds of getting laid go down tremendously. And certainly not gonna sustain you thru a LTR.

No ones paying billion dollar alimony. We should all be so lucky to pay all that alimony money. And supporting your child? How terrible... and aren’t only rich “Chads” getting caught up in this?

Sex at the beginning is always gonna be hotter and more frequent. No matter how busy or shitty your life is. the comparison to be made here is with sexually fulfilled couples in long term relationships in similar socio-economic circumstances. Why did they sustain themselves. Not why doesn’t my wife fuck like she did when we first got together. And of course, if the sexual attraction isn’t there anymore, both or either party has option to leave. No ones a hostage.

Pure lust during a drunken hookup is not the same as maintaining a healthy sex life in a long term relationship. Yeah, of course there was no romance in that drunken night. It would be super weird. But if that lustful night with “chad” turns into a relationship, 5 years down the line that lustfulness wears off. No matter what.

Totally. That hot models (men & women) are dumb is the most classic example. When we discover a famous attractive person has an advanced degree we’re all completely blown away. And people usually don’t think “ugly” people are mean/annoying (they may certainly assume other traits that are superficial but then can’t be faked- whether you’re attractive or not - like successful or nice) unless they are mean or annoying. Ultimately if your mindset when it comes to dating/sex/relationships is this kin…

It’s absolutely shocking you’re single. I’d Imagine a woman sitting across from you on a date as you say “whilst the invention of birth control and the loosening of traditional customs benefited both sexes” just getting so wet she can’t take it

Got it, understand what you’re saying. The vast majority of men don’t make enough money to be a target solely for their money, so the concern there is largely overblown. My general thoughts on this whole debate: Any guy complaining on the internet that women don’t wanna date him, for whatever reason they come up with, from the macro (biological imperatives) to the micro (poor/not good looking) is almost always a loser. If no women (you deem “acceptable”) wanna date you, fuck you, marry you, etc.…

Less than a 100k a year could mean anything from 0 (unemployed) to $99k. I get what you’re going for, that you don’t need to make over a $100k to provide stability (tho in a major city, with children, $100k a year for the family is not livable) Maybe between $75k-$100k is the income range you’re targeting?

Have you actually gone on dates from OLD apps? Never go to expensive dinner on a first date. It’s too much too soon. Best approach is happy hour drinks after work on a weeknight. Low pressure, low cost, can last as long or as short either party wants.
