If by "managerial class" you mean C suites, then sure, they can share the blame, but for whom do they work? Who do they answer to? The investors. The most influential of whom are... What? Oh, right, billionaires.

Why do you think they've been bragging for decades about getting rich with "OPM" (other peoples' money)? They've been getting rich off our money, through the government which hit a limit on how much they could tax us without us getting pissed a long time ago, so instead they just borrow money to give to these already incredibly wealthy dickbags in the form of subsidies, "investments", and so forth. Yes, government debt is an issue, going to get ugly in the near future, but do not let it distract…

Here's the part they don't want us talking about. All this talk about "intersectionality" of this that or the other social thing is nothing but a distraction. The "oppressor vs oppressed" is very simple, it's the billionaires who are oppressing literally all the rest of us. Anything anybody has to say that complicates that, is serving the purpose of the oppressor class to keep the rest of us divided and therefore conquered. That applies to the men vs women shit, the straights vs the LGBTQ+, the …

You know for damn sure if this were a man his mugshot and name would be at the top of the article. While it's a step in the right direction to use the word rape in this headline, it's still a LOOONG way from being anywhere near equal.

Man, if somebody raised a weapon towards my dog while we were out they'd find themselves with a fist and/or a big ass flashlight (depending on if it's day or night) buried inside their skull. Whether they connected or not. You do NOT fuck with my dog. Beat the shit out of me, I'll walk away first, but whatever god you worship help you if you so much as threaten my dog.

Talking about the movie provides smooth and easy ice breaking, get to know you, kind of conversation. It works for me, but if you've had success the other way around, far be it from me to tell you what to do.

So, I'm about to reveal more about my life than I usually do. I grew up in a physically and emotionally abusive home. From both Mom and Dad, roughly equally. Mom was equal amounts emotional and physical, Dad was mostly physical, but occasional instances of emotional abuse/neglect occurred. The physical abuse from my mom stopped around 11-12 because I was able to successfully block her attacks with a wooden spoon. I was 15 or so before I was able to physically challenge my father. We came to blow…

Yup. NGL those are my thoughts 100%. For the record, I didn't vote for Trump. I knew that vote would be to burn the system down. I didn't think we were at the point that was necessary. If we have another round of the DNC forcing another corporatist candidate down our throats, I may have to reconsider that stance. Edited for typos.

Your point on money saved only applies to money saved with banks. The vast majority of the money that the wealthy elite holds is invested in major corporations. Most of which are not in the business of lending money to anyone. This effectively removes the money from circulation, and the capital gains tax is severely insufficient to remedy this issue. Yang proposes raising the money for his Freedom Dividend through a multitude of sources, but roughly half would be through a 10% VAT on luxury good…

You may not agree with my opinion on this, but if you wanted to increase the amount of goods and services that consumers bought, how would you do that? I would give them money to spend at whatever businesses they see fit. To that end, have you heard some of the things that Andrew Yang has to say on that? Giving subsidies and tax breaks to major corporations has only resulted in stock buybacks and layoffs. If you really want to circulate money through the economy you give money to the folks that …

Ok, Supply Side Jesus. Tell me, what happens when the consumers have nothing left to spend because they're crushed under low wages, high rents, astronomical health care costs, etc, and can't buy whatever garbage you're pushing because there just isn't enough money left in their pockets for anything else? Because we're not far from that point.

I just want to point out that not everyone on the left is anti-male. I've been accused of being so far left as to be an anarchist. I believe on feminist issues we've gone way too far, and PC culture has become such a problem as to make anyone who claims to be offended automatically correct. You're absolutely, 110% right that registering for selective service is symbolic at best. There would be far too much outrage to ever consider actually drafting registered young men. Having said that, only subjecting boys and young men (registration is no longer required once you hit 26, IIRC) is sexist as fuck. Either we register everyone, or no one. At the same time, the amount of actual harm done by current SS registration policies is dwarfed by the rampant poverty, horrible healthcare system…

You speak as if I'm an outsider, and as if being liberal is a bad thing. Perhaps the community has left me behind in a shift to the extreme. I'm saying that we should not tolerate inequality of any sort, even if it does see radfems suffering, it's still inequality and we should find it abhorrent. Call me crazy, but I cannot and will not take pleasure in any suffering, no matter how "deserving" the sufferer may be. We can all rise above that base desire for shadenfruede. Anybody who makes 150k for one day's "work" can fuck right off if they want to complain about it. 90% or more of Americans won't make that in a whole year, and far too many of us won't be able to save up that much in a lifetime. That's not really a gender issue at that point, it's a greed issue.

My wife and I had talked for a few weeks before I flew out to meet her. She picked me up from the airport and we had not been at her house for more than 10 minutes before she jumped my bones. It's been 7.5 years since then, and we couldn't be happier. To answer your question, yes.

Diapers are not a permanent change to the body, as well as being necessarily changed frequently. Ask any parent how permanent the clean diaper is. As well as the consequences of not changing said diaper when it is soiled. That's a completely different issue.

According to the CDC, there are just under 4 million births per year in the US. It is reasonable to assume half those are female. Which means that in 80 years there will be no women left, and that's not accounting for a drastically reduced rate of births due to literally all the women being beaten to death. Not to mention those that die of disease, in accidents, or of old age.

We haven't had a big war like Korea or Vietnam because the nature of warfare has changed. We are never going to have that kind of war until after the proverbial world war three at which point wars will once again be fought with sticks and stones. You let me know when American soldiers are killed in the millions. As I recall, that hasn't happened ever. In fact, looking it up, fewer than 1,300,000 American soldiers have been killed in combat since the founding of the country, and 620,000 of those …

No, you're thinking of firefighters. The vast majority of military personnel are not front line infantry, and are likely to go for their entire career without being in any more danger than a welder, a truck driver, or a machine operator would be. I've known a few infantrymen and they will tell you that it takes a special type of crazy to go into that MOS, so we're going to exclude them from this comparison. Serving in the military is a neutral action. It's no better or worse than choosing to be a plumber, a doctor, a baker, or any other career. We as a country seem to put our military personnel on a pedestal as if they're all heroes who need to be worshipped when this just isn't the case. And that's without getting into the whole "do we really need to be going to war in these countries and is what we're doing over there the right thing to be doing?" argument.

The photographer is not taking a picture of you (or your children.) You (or your children) just happen to be in the frame. The correct response is to step out of the frame. Your "social rules" are irrelevent, and acting with mob "justice" by doxxing, harassing, and otherwise henpecking an "offender" of some rule that is not codified in law is wrong. If you want to change the law, go write your local legislators a letter about it, see how far that gets you. The fact of the matter is that your act…
/r/MensRights13/04/16 03:25 AM
2

You're missing my point. It's not socially inappropriate to be taking pictures in public. Doxxing is never ok either, regardless of the reason.
/r/MensRights13/04/16 01:58 AM
3

"Social rules" are wrong here. According to the law, your right (and that of children) to not be photographed ends when you step into a pubic area. Full stop, no ifs ands or buts. You have no legal basis for labelling a random photographer as a "creeper" or even requesting they stop. Your request is complied with because the ramifications for a man disobeying a woman in this day and age are severe and people tend to grossly overreact when children are around, even if not even directly involved.
/r/MensRights12/04/16 11:51 PM
2

The appropriate response is to call your child out of the frame of the picture, let the person taking the picture do so and move on allowing your child to resume whatever it was they were doing. Get over yourself.

Well, by the time I was six, I was old enough to go to the bathroom by myself, and furthermore would have felt extremely uncomfortable having my mother drag me into the women's restroom.
