There was a neighboring region, who had their U19 teams be co-ed (my region didn't). When I asked the RC why, his explanation really struck me as brilliant. He explained, "By making the teams co-ed, we NEVER have fights on the field. The U19 Boys used to fight all the time. But now, zero. They won't fight in front of the girls.
