Anyone do it with software engineering / management / entrepreneurship? Anyone do it with... a misdemeanor arrest related to a traffic stop have experience ('careless driving', accused DUI but non)? Kinda scared to apply to anything as it'll show in BG check, thinking I can get it expunged after ~5 years IIRC. English is my only language, but my neuroplasticity is good enough to learn 1-2 new programming languages and many new systems per year. 15+ year resume, B.S. from reasonably known school.

They don’t shave their muff. You will have to train them . They don’t give head. You will have to train them. And it is really hard to follow the “3-date rule”. You may have to court them for 5+ dates or 3+ months before they will fuck you. True these. I've a lot of experience with 18-22 and ~30yo FOB Chinese girls in 2 US cities. Mostly students and a cute (older at the time) IT chick. Con: They take longer to court, but Pro: once they're fucking you they want to keep fucking without strings. I…

It may seem weird or rude but if you can related to people they will really like you in the long run. Thanks. I "feel" like this is weird, but whenever I do it it ends well... getting easier with time. I think at a closed / rsvp'd event it makes more sense than a coffee shop, for example. I have a buzz by now and am ready to dance. This is my fucking go to move man. And it works. Dance with older ladies. I use this sometimes unintentionally since I will dance with anyone... on Sunday I was at a …

Until the neighboring nation gets in and savages us. As long as we can protect our borders forever and let people leave if they want to I can't see a problem with letting society cut off its own balls though, without saying anything for what I would do in such a world.

I heard what he said... definitely picked up my sore spots! Actually one was chest hair, I seem to be the only one defending that anymore. They were trashing everyone and talking loudly enough that I could hear, no question about what they were saying. I was annoyed before they hit me. Like I said in the post though, I note what people make fun of me for and think about if it's them or me so it's more about what I could have done, if anything (other than the fine and chosen course of ignore).

Indeed indeed. I am somewhat serious but also somewhat Saturday evening BSing here. Even like mean mug eye contact, licking my lips at his girl, etc--to jar him. He's high SMV and doesn't look used to being fucked with, preppy rich looking guy. I know any action would have to be deniable--ie. passive aggressive.

I tell them I'm broke if they ask what I do. I invite them to bring a bottle of wine and eat food that I'm going to be cooking if they want dinner. Some do it, others nope out and ghost for "no apparent reason." (as I used to think).

You can still flirt with girls when you have a girlfriend, if anything it's perfect plausible deniability if you have a solid reputation. The first/biggest thing that I see wreck guys is nesting. They start nesting and move in to save money or whatever, which means the guy's social life dies. Tingles gone, fight fight, new Chad maybe on the sly for a while with a breakup sprinkled in... and Bob is wrekt and crawls back to some of his old buddies. There should be no need to crawl back, that is in…

What you say is logically true in isolation. But you really have to focus on "would this look good on Instagram?" or replace Instagram with whatever community the girl cares about. You can still get hot girls if you can sell yourself, though I agree the initial rejection rate is high (shorter than you in competitive city). If you have massive social proof and look wealthy/influential then she's not going to be a bitch to you, let's just put it that way. They're also smart enough to know who they…

After one live-in gf with who I ended amicably, I confirmed that living apart was right. We didn't plan to move in together but did for financial reasons... moved out before later breaking up fairly amicably--with random post sex etc. The distance created a new waterfall between her legs. Don't live together... if the finances make sense, up your game until you don't need a chick to help you.

This morning I cried in the bathroom a little at the thought I'd have to throw away a bunch of my recently deceased brother's shit. I feel like an asshole calling it shit, but I visualized throwing his cell phone in the garbage and it was really fucked. Since it happened I've been taking a lot of steps to ensure I leave more of a mark on the world than a pile of stuff that needs to be thrown away. I obviously falter as I'm human, but it's literally true. When you die hopefully you can afford/are…

As a freshly 30s guy who wasted little to none of my 20s until the last few years I think think this is legit. I was BP but always working hard, and generally had a girlfriend with 0-12 months of being single between. When I started focusing on socializing and partying etc after moving to a new city, even with all that stuff in my past people weren't biting. Now that I've been refocused on career goals again the past ~9mo I'm starting to actually make some circles of people who are cool and new …

Fun post, thanks! Everyone should check out the book The Tao of Pooh... describes traits in terms of Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl, etc. Extrapolates to people generally, we all have them all in us. Similar idea, fewer axis, wider scope. Pooh would be Chad in 2016.

That's right. When I hear things like "I can never win" or "you always need to be right" I know that their mindset is wrong. Yes, I do always need to win and be right. I need for us both to win-win and take the most reasonable course of action, yes. They themselves can create the adversity that they complain about.

I'm not a snowflake anymore, and I'm the least physically guy ever at under 5'6"... it's very easy for people who know jack / no experience to overrule me with simple dominance. So with no intrinsic value, I'm fighting for scraps of attention. Once I get some social proof again it might get easier, but my style is totally cramped. To make it worse, people who generally resemble my style are seen as a cancer of the city, so I get put in that bucket sometimes too.

Anecdotally, back in my home city I was a fucking god for being an IT guy / nerd. It was my identity, which might've been too much. In my new city tech people are legitimately loathed. I first came here and people bullied the shit out of me where I was exactly the same guy, until I eased up on the tech stuff. I legitimately love working with it and back home people thought that was cool, but here they perceive me as a tool ruining the city if I talk much about it. Easy to call it insecurity, but…

Would a black guy in hollywood get the same cut? I came up on sub-$20 cuts and they were just fine, but my hair is next level now. I could go on TV, and in fact do public speaking. One thing that may be different is if I have some length to my hair, like <2in even, it grows in various directions... if all your hair grows straight out or is much shorter it would be easier for certain. But fades etc could make a difference. Edit: concretely, I have about 4 regions of hair that I fold up each morni…

protip: high end stylists can be comparably priced to a mid-level shop, ask about neck trims. They'll often offer 1-3 FREE trims that can stretch a cut 6-8+ weeks (longer hair, less maintenance). It makes a $65 cut turn into two $32.50 cuts or better, tip well of course (I usually do $10, esp. for the free one). My stylist cleans me up awesome in 5 minutes and it's night and day when I walk out.

Not parent, but I' say club house for sure. Nothing cool about living with a bunch of other adults in the same house, no matter how high SMV they are. Have done it, it's normal in my city, yet I live alone despite the extra cost. I think a man's ultimately gotta have his domain, if only a few hundred square feet. A bedroom at the club house would be cool of course, just wouldn't LIVE there... I figure if I could be part of something like that, a few hundred extra a month for a lease on a room wo…

I strongly believe that the first one was predatory, less sure about the second one. I actually fucked up, I just think firing was too heavy handed where a warning would've done. Not interested in stirring up old stuff though, the process would be more stress than any damage payout could compensate for (as I'm sure you can imagine). Indeed, I fucked up the second time. The first time I was given no reason, I to this day don't know what I supposedly said or did. Thankfully jobs like that are a dime a dozen to me. Edit, added later: they won't give details in the name of protecting the "victim(s)". They will tell you 2 people said the same thing, but not what it was. Spirit of the rule makes sense, but I think it's been weaponized. Examining incentives/costs, it's a good weapon.

Not really, you don't have to say anything particularly offensive to be let go. To this day I still don't know what I did the first time, it was the week of a huge acquisition so I think that was a total lie whereas the second time was a misrepresentation. The fact that multiple people say something means you are a litigation risk, so they take the safe route.

I wish I could speak without doxxing myself, but I've twice been fired from hot consumer web companies through multiple HR reports for the same "incident." Apparently if multiple people report you, you're insta-fired with no chance for redemption and your side of the story doesn't matter (eg. 2 people say one thing on record, your word is meaningless). Did this to a female friend once. We went to a place for house music because we both didn't have plans for some reason on a Fri/Sat and IM'd. She's an early-30s Asian chick, actually has a personality. I said something like "nothing would make me happier than a blowjob right now" not even as a proposition, but she accepted it as such and we were in a cab within 5 minutes. Seen her a couple times since at parties and stuff, seems like a clean discrete hook up. :)

The point is that obese people usually have things going on that obesity is a physical manifestation of. Okay some people have genetic things or whatever, I'll buy that an evaluate case by case without prejudice even... but when you look at the life of a fattie, it usually doesn't take long to start seeing the yellow flags or worse. We are entities that seem to have decision making ability. There are circuits for feeling, circuits for acting, lots of little subsystems. Like that scene in Fight Club where the narrator put acid on his bitten hand and sat still calmly for a moment after he stopped freaking out; that's our natural state. Nothing that happens to these piles of atoms we call bodies dictates how we act. As an example that won't harm you, start taking cold or contrast showers in the morning. You'll see that when yo…

NOT opening a girl means you are a selfish dick who wants to retain all the awesomeness in your life for just yourself. Today in a coffee shop there was a girl who came in and sat across the table from me. I was prepping for a phone call so I ignored her and took the call. Why society is doing this to itself I do not know. Follow the money. I can't say I know anything but things start to add up. NRS has all kinds of "crazy" shit to say about that, dude's infected my brain (or disinfected my brain, depending how you look at it...). Is there something more powerful/motivating than money to follow or incentivize? The effect cascades because big money is never made alone, and think of what a person will do to secure a large investment.

Shit testing isn't malicious is my point, it's what kids and women do to test severity and ability to maintain control. If you keep that in mind you can respond to them appropriately with ease. Eg. you know that anger is never a good response because you know what shit testing is. There's a difference between shit testing and being a bitch, I think girls step into bitch territory after you've already failed--which is where it's time to step away, yes.

Asking "What?" continually is an effective way to stop somebody's manipulation in its tracks, I read recently. People aren't always conscious of their action, carried by emotions/hidden "pain bodies" or "demons" depending what you read. Yet to try, but I've done similar by accident to an ex. It can induce rage, so use with caution if the other party thinks they can get away with violence or is prone to becoming irrational/belligerent. Ghosting is worse because you get out of practice, and when you are inevitably confronted you will completely fail, and it's likely to be a very important confrontation. An old TRP idea is that we are supposed to love women and think of shit testing as fitness testing, a GIFT. If a bitch can make you lose frame, how are you supposed to kill a fucking tiger? If I lose frame to a woman I AM weaker than her. Dog eat dog, don't run or weaker dogs will eat you later.

How do you find 50 situations? I go about my day and work and shit, go to like 1-2 coffee shops, maybe a grocery store, walk up a bunch of streets with tourists or business people... I see maybe 5 chicks I want to talk to who also seem receptive. Reading/iPod is as far as I will intrude, sometimes... but I notice they delay putting their headphones in if they want you to talk. Huge trendy city, more opportunity than most people I think, I'm lucky. Do you literally just go up to a ton of chicks a…

So true. Look pretty good or better (ie. like you could kill a tiger), and have something to offer a chick, and that determines what comes after 'hello'. I've found a couple niches ie. places where women love me. If you've invested in yourself you're a stud in the niche contexts, the women and white knights will notice. It's important to learn to not trigger white knights and build on womens' ASD to escalate in isolation. Man-only space hobbies are great too, in fact best. Last time I was part o…

I know, poor taste on my part, I got what was coming to me. Lesson taken. Being fired suuuuucks in a lot of ways, but I was kinda over that job anyway. Wrong to push it like that though. Worst is really I never got a chance to apologize to her in any way, TBH. Whether it's better like that in the end I don't know, but I feel bad.

Subtle, isolated me and asked what I'm doing after the HH event in a familiar way on a Friday afternoon, her second week. I just said I was going home (the truth). I could feel her gathering the balls the prior weeks and was kind of avoiding her, she also wasn't attractive (overweight, butch)... MAYBE I'd let her give me a stall blowjob if I were really really drunk, but she might not've been nimble enough.

Get that bitch fired, keep a log of interactions. Had a bitch giving me stink eye for 3 months and she finally found her shot to corner me and took it. I came in and killed it and all her friends complained that I was stirring shit up too much, they ganged up. Had no interaction with them and they were just nasty, I think due to gossip. I gotta watch that next time obviously. HR gave no fucks about my side of the story. Dog eat dog and shit, if you sense her has a threat do not hesitate. Nobody …

Lived with an LTR like that. She'd binge watch TV shows and get sick/whiny/needy on the weekend when it was time to go out, and I'm a social guy who likes to boogie, but have an even bigger heart so I'd stay with her. I've found isolation is a powerful tool, perhaps the ultimate tool. She then convinced my estranged friends that I was an asshole and they are her friends now. I'd still do the same for a girl who wasn't playing me, I'm working on not being an easy target. Edit / addendum: Actually…

Fair and TBH I've not looked into the issue from any other angles than the feelz based one. The system helped me to some degree, so I've got a bias for it. It eventually let me down as these programs were cut in the late 90s and I was left to my own through high school. I was somewhat aware of certain realities which I was still in the BP elementary school system and fully sheltered. Sink or swim, I swam pretty well but have a hard time when I bump into reality through joblessness/legal problems…

I don't have an answer, but I didn't complain because I didn't care. If I cared I guess I would have found one. It was at noon and we had three lunch periods where upper class people could leave campus, it was just the under class while I was there. 16 year olds, probably legal reasons. I think people just like to complain about whatever they can, because they hate their own life... grass is always greener style.

I noticed something when I got fired for calling a girl a bitch. I was at the DGAF point in that job, and sat there thinking for a moment whether I should call her a bitch. All things considered, I kinda wanted to see if I could get away with it, because that bitch sure had it coming. I really considered at least a few outcomes before I did it in like 0.5seconds, and saw myself doing it. I was tired of the day-to-day shit from a few people, including her. I was sure I could get a new job. Not sa…

I can still identify with this guy on some level, grew up smurf blue; which is pretty sick to me now. I lived in a city that took Somali refugees in the '90s and nobody liked them. To the level of being mean though, talking about how they stink and wash their feet in the sink and got to go pray at noon and they should get a smoke break then--I wasn't down with that. Some tried to acclimate, most kept to themselves. I never had a problem with them, not one of them ever approached or bothered me i…

People try to make me their bitch and I resist them in socially unacceptable ways, yes, that makes me the jerk unfortunately. Eg. I fail a shit test. She's shit testing me and I fail, I don't just go around being a jerk randomly.

Corporate betas are all about talking about the wuv of their life. If you don't talk about one you're assumed to be single. If you're hot the crows will circle and eventually one will descend upon you, probably the least attractive possible one. I don't know how to lie about having a girlfriend, maybe say it's LDR or she's in grad school in another city (and make lies after holidays).

Bitch got me fired from a new job I got for this. She tried to come on to me after a couple weeks, isolating me at a work happy hour giving me the ultimate hook point. I passed. She never looked at me the same again, and started sowing ideas of my being an asshole into some people. Others concurred because I'm generally no-BS and that can rub some people, just come to work and skip the small talk kinda thing. One night she started pushing my buttons over drinks and I called her a bitch. The rest…

I wish I could be more beta, damn it. Worked like a charm when I was a valuable guy in the midwest, always had a cute girl devoted to me (usually asian, surprise). Now I'm just a west coast cog and beta gets pissed on, not quite as badly as attempting 'alpha' actions and constantly getting ejected from social groups and jobs because of white knights... fuck I have no alpha game, but I don't like being shat on constantly as with beta strategy, so I gotta keep fucking up till I figure it out. I th…

Thanks for your time responding! As you can tell I'm an armchair novice in all this stuff, who's just watched too much youtube but thirsty none the less. Well trained and experienced computer scientist though, and I generally see the brain as an i/o device, I just don't know all the inputs and outputs, curious about non-standard ones. Wasn't aware of the temperature requirements for entanglements, great to know. I have read about some quantum processes in cell replication, I guess not all proces…

How are you asking for the #? I usually push for a certain plan and then we exchange contact info. I use situational openers so I usually have a good idea what I'm going to ask the girl to do with me. I'm not monster success but I tend to get phones handed to me to take my # and they follow up within 12 hours. I actually keep losing what I think could be same-days because I'm busy. I don't even have the # of some girls I've F'd from Tinder, just told them when and where to show up and they did.

I hear what you're saying and agree at first brush, kinda brainstorming here. When I say law of attraction I mean it in a general vibratory sense. Excuse me, I'm falling into metaphysics here, probably mumbo jumbo to many. Abstractly a thought would be a vibration (or an aggregation that ends up with a couple clusters or brain cells at certain frequencies), if you've got negative thoughts you've usually got negative body language. Some ted talk shows you can fix your thoughts by fixing your body…

Gotta say, 'target fixation' is a really interesting and fitting term, thanks for sharing. My high school councilors said I had 'fear of success' and in retrospect I absolutely agree with that. I still have it hard core, and I'm rungs and rungs above where I ever would have imagined myself then, probably terrified internally. I could be doing the equivalent of target fixating on certain things. I like your comment about knowing what I can control. I've been coming increasingly aware of this late…

I've tried the 'I used to be overweight, poorly dressed, have shit posture, not read' improvement stories but they rarely take. I'm shorty anyway so I'm only attractive to certain women (but they can and sometimes do fall in love). Sometimes a chick will eat my words up if she's already interested in me and is struggling with something I've mastered, but I explain it as thought it was effortless and just implementing a few habits per day--honestly the first step in any of those things is a few s…

We can even change our masks every few months :). A few people are out publicly as humans, but it's the most esoteric thing I've been part of... VPNs and throw-away emails and first rule of RP, wheee. I've been 4 or 5 characters over the years.

Nice FR, thanks. Question about condoms, did you use any? One of my old female roomies used to fuck guys on the deck and it always felt like she was probably raw dogging, not that I sat and tried to listen, but it was right outside my window. Personally I keep a couple in various pockets just in case, but haven't actually fucked a chick somewhere like that (yet).

I've had a year of traumas and I could see myself building shrines (again) if my mind were still weaker. I burned down an old me over the course of a few years, in terms of shrines I surely had a few. It's interesting because it almost feels like angry gods are creating chaos in my life as I destroy the old shrines. Thanks for your great work as always OP, you've given me yet another beautiful symbol.

maintain your eyebrows (ask your barber to trim them) Disagree here, and also chest... I do no trimming of any kind. Ladies love it, no work for me so I love it :). I might try again eventually, I had shit posture and didn't know how to wear clothes that fit or what a good haircut was last time I did 'scaped anything, so it might've been premature try hard... in any case, not doing it is working still. I do most of the other stuff. best hair products are Baxter California. you'll thank me later.…
