Dash has spoken openly about past traumas in her personal life. She has at various times revealed that she was molested as a child by a family friend, was addicted to cocaine in her teens and 20s, and has a history of being with physically and emotionally abusive partners. Dash has attributed her openness with such topics to her desire to be honest with her children, feeling that being honest is the best way to protect them, and to let them and others know that she is not a victim but a survivor…

I wonder what the "Fourth Wave" would look like... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersectionality The movement led by women of color disputed the idea, common to earlier feminist movements, that women were a homogeneous category essentially sharing the same life experiences. This argument stemmed from the realization that white middle-class women did not serve as an accurate representation of the feminist movement as a whole. Recognizing that the forms of oppression experienced by white middle-…

It's like being a sports fan. Do you go to games, buy clothes, and follow each player? How serious are you about your hobby? Is it still a hobby? Maybe you do something else with your time, but to another person... well, that's a waste. At least to them. Each person "goes their own way" on something, even if they don't realize it. I saw this in the military even; give people 5 minutes and one group will be playing cards and another will be smoking while the rest are trying to figure out how long…

to lower the bar for themselves. As a male lesbian, I tell the women it's just a large clitorious, and that they shouldn't shame me that I haven't come to terms with my horribly disfigured proto-vagina. For them to help me to truly become the person I'm meant to be, they must purge the male energy contained within my testicles... preferably in an oral manner.

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/fair-weather-friend A person who is dependable in good times but is not in times of trouble. They also left out the gay binary fluid orgy from after Frodo wakes up. Totally wrong, on all counts. Sam and Frodo are both gay. They come from a land of Gayness, called "The Shire" where people live in "Holes" and the legend has it a ring allowed the oldest bachelor in the family to live to an unnaturally old age. Eventually, he was confronted by his family, womezs and whatnot, because they wanted to get his super-gayness out of their Lesbian-themed area. http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Lobelia_Sac…

Isn't that the heart of all toxic femininity? No, it's that a conviction occurred, and that a man went to jail. That his family probably turned their back on him, most likely not believing his story. Whenever I hear "toxic masculinity" thrown in my face, when people find out I was in the military, they talk about the system. How the system grinds people up, never giving them a chance. If this story is true, I wonder at the family still thinking about going public: they'd know him to be innocent,…

she broke down and said she didn't know who did it and she accused him because he had refused to lend her money she desperately needed and she was angry at him. Usually people are just angry and jealous. It's the rush to judgement, and wanting to find someone guilty. If this is true, they should burn this woman at that stake; she took the entire legal system for a ride and ruined a person's life, the family's life, and a child's life. Because she was mad at him.

It's a disgusting shit test. If your woman can't handle certain things, you go that direction... "Yea baby, Brad Pitt all the way... I want him in the middle, it won't be gay if we're both having sex with him, right?" See if she drops that shit double quick.

/r/MensRights08/01/17 03:51 PM

We see that when there's no men involved, the domestic violence rate is doubled. I have a few stories of lesbian relationships; people I knew from the military... Strangely it was the civilian women who were the abusers, not the military side of the relationships (take from that what you will). They'd do damn near anything, from neglect to straight out throwing punches (literally). It's almost like the, "women can't do this" thing makes them think they can't. Aeschylus' Oedipus trilogy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oedipus#Aeschylus.27_Oedipus_trilogy In 467 BC the Athenian playwright, Aeschylus, is known to have presented an entire trilogy based upon the Oedipus myth, winning the first prize at the City Dionysia. The First play was Laius, the second was Oedipus, and the third was Seven against Thebes. Only the third play survives, in which Oedipus' sons Eteocles and Polynices kill each other warring over the throne. Much like his Oresteia, this tril…

I like both of yours, and a guy I knew in the Army comes to mind: was a gang-banger in South-Central LA in the 80s before joining. He says he didn't respect any woman other than his mother until his girlfriend turned him out of the car in "enemy" territory wearing blue. If she had the balls to do that, she'd back him up, I guess. He was a tough guy, but he loved that woman, and toed the line around her, because she raised his kids right.

If we're going to suggest DNA testing every child, the point is actually moot, as in 18 years, everyone would already been in the database. That said, look at fingerprints. Parents are encouraged to get their children printed for their safety, and fingerprints are required for many different security positions (at least in the government). Like a digital ID, your DNA will eventually be the only way to have a positive way to know who you're actually dealing with; I'd imagine the issue will fade, …

I haven't seen "the other guy" brought up in this discussion yet. If we're DNA testing everyone so easily at this point, why can't we find these deadbeat fathers? How about everyone just take personal responsibility for their own actions? Sure, there is institutional stuff out there, black / white, male / female, gay / straight, you could argue for everything there is, that you don't have it fair, and that the world is against you. Then you're just a victim. How is that taking personal responsibility? It's not, and adults are better than that. Flame away, but I'm an adult, and I don't blame anyone else for what I've done. most guys pursue some degree of financial well-being throughout their lifetimes Ah, nope. The odds are that most guys are flat broke, as will most women be; the thing is to weather every storm (the one in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and so-forth). The average person is up to their eyes in debt, but is trying to show everyone that they're doing great. For me, getting married makes no sense. My situation and my age makes me a unicorn, and there's maybe one in 1000 women who can come close to what I've got going on right now. The other 999 have made poor decisions, just like my ex-wife, and there's no need to go anchor myself to that with no benefit. The women who are judging me by how tall I am, what kind of car I drive, where I live... whatever. Life is about much more than that.

I think the number of women who find themselves pregnant, and then decide, "Well, might as well ride this out," is quite high. Most are quite successful, but the inability to set a line between "friend" and "mother" in cases where they're raising daughters in single households, sometimes causes problems later on with discipline. With boys who are aggressive, the problem is even worse, as the woman is either forced to raise the boy "soft" by breaking him, or let him run wild due to the lack of po…

The red pill / blue pill stuff is nothing that they're interested in, they don't even know what any of that means, and they just want a companion. There is an old saying: if you want to find a woman, go where they are. You might want to find one golfing, at a church, learning how to fly-fish, or any of a dozen things. Both females need to be registered sex offenders for this - no discussion, there is no way you can argue that they didn't know what they were doing wasn't wrong. The boy's mother needs to sue the families of both girls in civil court for the emotional damage. The police need an external independent investigation of why it is that molesting a child is considered a "prank" when girls do it... this points toward a much deeper issue.

The guy from a previous shooting got 64 years and didn't kill anyone, she gets 4 months for a premeditated killing (murder 1 last time I knew). This tells me that if you want someone dead, get a woman mad at them, let that woman kill them, and then sit back and watch nothing happen to her.

Dude, fellow Veteran - can confirm that there are some females in uniform who try to play the sex game; however, that's why I went Armor branch in the Army - no females except in support, then Cavalry, and did some Infantry work too (only females were in support - like Medics). The horror stories from guys who worked with lots of females made my hair stand up, but it was more from older guys (both Officers and NCOs) who showed favoritism to females, like they were their daughters, and so you had…

There is a version of this video where they pause it just as he locks on target - then red laser beams come out of his eyes and it flashes "Finish Him" like the first Street Fighter video game, then they run the footage forward again. I feel really good for him when they stretch it out like that - you can only hope he remembers when he locked on that evil fucker that was messing with him. Sort of like his "best of" memories. If anyone can find that, please post a link. Thanks.

Favorite part, by far: Warning that what she says makes absolutely no sense "I don't it's, this is a fair justice" from the dumb blonde...as she's leaving. I had to listen to it a dozen times to figure out that's what she said. She must have been so upset that she was just mixing words that sounded important. http://youtu.be/R84Xw5CciGU?t=1m21s

The situation is so fucked, and this has gotten posted before, that people really need to know what they're getting themselves into before they start watching it - the last 20 minutes or so will just devastate you.

Points to you for clarity - the guy who was killed was a doctor, he'd gotten in a relationship with this crazy woman as a rebound from a long-term relationship with (another doctor?) a woman he really loved. Friends during the film talk about how she was sort of nuts, but the Doctor didn't think he could do better than her crazy ass - he ended up paying with his life, and the life of his son.

That's a military insult... been to either Fort Irwin or 29 Palms? I sometimes throw words around that I have to explain to people. I used the word scuttlebutt once and the only people who understood were the Marines among our group. But yes, I think she was just dumb and entitled, with a helping of booze and maybe coke or another drug, so when he came off the stage and sat down beside her - the lack of reaction was more than normal - it almost had to be her being high, and not on weed.

Veteran here - you also need to remember that our current "Volunteer" status makes people think we "deserve to die" or that "we asked for Iraq" because we were already in the Military. If 99% of Americans have no skin in the game, they're much more likely to say "send in the troops" because they don't care about someone else's kids dying.

This is just sad on so many levels. Talk about the victim enabling the abusive behavior. What's worse is that if she finally gets rid of him, he'll just find another woman who treats him like shit.

The guy who goes "beast mode" reminds me of guys who've had military training - anything that's a threat gets treated like a threat - thus no hesitation in his strikes.

All good points, but I just wanted to let anyone who cared in on the emotions behind being compared to a monkey - even among those people who pick and choose what they believe of the Bible (which is a large majority, if we're honest) - so in a crowd this will play, even if people individually have no problem with science, that emotional scar is still very touchy.

I'm sorry, but every part of me was thinking "don't fuck with this guy" because his body language, what you can see of it, is all sorts of defensive. You keep poking and prodding a person who's already defensive, yelling in their face, and I'm not sure what you expect out of the situation. It's shit like this that makes me not want to leave the house...

Maybe it's just me, but she doesn't seem like the kind who'll learn anything from this (there are a lot of deleted posts, maybe they tell a different story). I can't help but feel jealous by this; it seems like everyone but me is making significant gains in their lives and relationships. Just my observations from seeing hundreds of marriages under stress (I was in the military for a while), as well as my own, but a woman who's got this "keeping up" mentality so deeply ingrained isn't going to ch…

I'm not questioning anyone's blackness here, but there's another part of this argument that might slip past some people who weren't on "the other side" of the civil rights movement. Basically, it was that you had to "believe in something, or you'd fall for anything." If you take this, and lets not forget that for a very long time the only place that black folks had to themselves was the church - and these were churches guided by people who wanted the people to be proud of themselves, most especi…

These are all good points, and it should be noted that people have often thought that I was in the military / police when I've kept my hair short and shaved (you just have a certain sort of way you carry yourself). It's also true that I was very experienced at giving people very direct guidance in a very direct manner and then basically maintaining eye contact until I received a response - most people don't like that. As for if she knew that she had cut in front of us - oh yes, it was quite obvi…

I actually did this at a McDonalds along the Pennsylvania Turnpike: We were all standing in a long line, the last register on the right. I'm living in Maryland, driving back to Michigan as I'm retiring from the Army (one of many trips). The register stops working, I'm about the 8th or 9th guy in line, and we all start getting restless - why don't they open another register? So finally they do, and we all seem to understand that this requires walking the line from one register to another, where t…

The reason I posted here, because I've been lurking a bit, was to see what people had to say about her behavior and that of the other people in the bar - telling me how not to get into one of these situations is nice, but unnecessary (avoidance is easy - I'm never going back to this restaurant ever again, and won't miss it much). What rubs me the wrong way, and something that is worth standing up to no matter where I am (Iraq or America), is people who think they can treat others like shit and s…

This is why I left the situation instead of leaving blood on the floor, which a career in the Army and my subsequent life has left me more than prepared to do: the tricky part in anything like this is backing away while not showing fear (in other words, being a real Alpha surrounded by Betas and Gammas who are just waiting to pounce because they think showing off will somehow get them points with the "helpless" woman who was rude from the moment I sat down - she just got married, or so I was tol…

One big thing with me is that I always tell the truth (both to my benefit and not) - it makes my life much easier. I decided not to stiff her on the food because the money most likely would have been taken out of "the bucket" where anyone tending bar (including the new woman who seemed to actually be trying) throws their tips. This also would have looked bad on my part, as I did eat the food, and the issue didn't come to a head until the disrespect after I'd finished eating. As far as stirring t…

This sort of reaction why I don't tell women that I can cook, clean, sew, bake, brew, paint, and the general guy stuff too (to an extreme, I took my outboard motor apart last night). Why? Because it's intimidating, I guess. I've had women over and cooked them a nice meal and done things like making my own noodles / bread to go with the meal and instead of the "that's so nice" you might expect, it's usually been received with "I wish I could cook" or something like it. It's sad that I have to pla…
