Edgelord over here. SpaceX wins government contracts, not subsidies. Solar City/Tesla do benefit from subsidies, but it’s not like Elon put them in place. The government decided more solar power and electric cars would be a good thing, and offered incentives to make it so. You can disagree with that logic (I’m personally not sure it’s a great idea) but it’s not some grand conspiracy. Elon just took advantage of the existing environment.

Ok first off, that article is from 2015 and Elon built and sold PayPal over 10 years ago. Secondly that’s referring to local tax incentives from a specific town. This is something most major corporations work with cities on. Jobs are highly coveted so cities are incentivized to make companies pick their particular town over any others.

The whole purpose of separation of sporting events by gender is because men are flat out superior in almost every physical sense. The analogy I view is if a 155 lb boxer were to fight a 185 lb boxer and win. Just cause the bigger boxer can’t fight lighter boxers for a belt doesn’t mean the lighter boxer can’t fight up.

I'm on the fence. The result was obviously pretty extreme, but she did initiate the contact. Also, she is a young fit person, while he is older (stated he has a granddaughter). So either all physical contact is wrong and a crime, in which case they are equally in trouble. Or if someone starts a physical conflict, you have a right to finish it, which he did. I don't know what the law is, but in my view it should be one or the other.

I think it's because they actually have he highest demand for guys. Like anything else, attractiveness is on a bell curve, meaning most people are in the mid range.
