Well… you probably shouldn’t just tell people that. It’s not even a male/female thing, that’s just social tact. Don’t tell people things you think could hurt their feelings, unless you’re prepared to deal with their hurt feelings.

Uh nah man that’s not how it works. Everybody has blind spots only a third party can help you identify. Therapists are professionals whose job it is to help people identify and address those issues. Yeah I’m sure that’s true but as someone who’s been friends with a good amount of dancers, it makes sense from their perspective. Their job is to be objectified and pretend to be interested in people they would otherwise never talk to, and get objectified/sexually harassed by them without being allowed to respond.
