Too bad there is such a divide between manly and girly things. I don't like most "manly" stuff like watching sports, talking about cars or getting wasted in the pub.

I'm young so I don't know how it used to be. Often friendships with other males feel quite shallow, mainly just playing games or working out. I think it's odd how few men actually feel comfortable talking about their inner thoughts and feelings and are rarely willing to discuss anything of substance outside of politics. Those things they reserve for when they're talking to women because that somehow makes it less awkward for them. Could you give examples of how your male friendships look like?

There are centenarian families where many live close to 100 years while their lifestile is similar to ours.

Interesting thoughts, they seem to make sense.

It's a sad realisation. Real dilemma though, as a society, on one hand you want to provide for people to make them happy and safe but on the other hand life is now way too easy and renders people weak and depressed.

Being compared to cavemen meant as a compliment, weird but nice one OP. Great post btw

Because all throughout history, the nurturing nature of women was just as important as all the male traits OP mentioned.

I'm a bit confused as to what to point of this post is. What you said about our evolution and roles in tribes are all true, but do you say this to encourage us men to try to unleash our full potential (which is great ofc) or to downplay the role women have in society?

Could you post an example of an obviously fake pic?

Do you mean this is a fake one? Don't see anything wrong with it.

How the hell does a divorce take 3 years? That's rediculous in itself. Let alone still having all the obligations that marriage gives. Poor guy.

Not American so not up to date on your politics, but have you read any data to support your statement or do you just make such things up?

It's a vocal minority you're talking about, there is as much difference between gay people as we straight people differ.

Yeah I see what you mean, didn't expect the other reactions. Could you elaborate on what your idea of an alliance is? Like others have said MGTOW is not a movement, we're quite passive. For that reason I don't see what this sub could offer you or what you would like to achieve here.

MGTOW at its core isn't about your sexuality at all. Those hateful guys you encountered are just assholes. You are of course very welcome. Question: do you date or would you like to get married someday? or would you rather stay single like the rest of us?

Don't have to go monk though, only if that's your thing. Many men still have the occasional hookup and that's fine.

I'm 22 and while I of course also still had those cravings, they just slowly dissapeared on their own. Checking out girls is fine, but wanting to chase after them is besides being instinctual also largely habit thought to us by society I think. You must keep trying to let go of the thought of chasing and wanting to have sex with them untill you got rid of the habit. However, just like any addiction, it is very difficult to let go of and requires some willpower. Porn also helped me a lot by desen…

Do people in this sub see fapping as better than escorts though? Many men here seem in favour of masturbating and porn as it will clear your cravings for female attention and sex and will make you focus on more important stuff. AFAIK nofap is mainly to prepare for relationships so you won't get desensitized or a twisted mind because of porn and have a healthy sex life with your girlfriend. I see neither escorts nor fapping as bad.

Well, it's an entertainment series, not a documentary, so why should it 100% accurately depict history?

Haven't seen Chernobyl but I don't really see your point. The hero of the story is a female, so what? If she is knowledgeable and it's realistic and smart how she goes about what she does it would seem totally fine by my. Could you explain what is so gross about it? I was planning on watching it but maybe I shouldn't.

Intersting insight, sucks for both of you. At least you dad tried his best to satisfy everyone (except himself) which was the proper move in this situation. Hope you two will catch up soon. Though for an activity you might want to consider choosing something else than fishing so that you won't unnecessarily hurt animals.

Well you should be somewhat interested in politics, as proper voting can make for a better country. I'm curious as well as to why r/mgtow as a whole falls towards certain sides

Thanks for the suggestion, will be looking into it. My favorite deep anime so far are Fate Zero, and From the new world (shin sekai yori), both touching on many interesting topics.

Personally I don't see much problems with cheap entertainment as long as it doesn't hinder you in fulfilling your responsibilities or pursuing your goals. Music is something I listen a lot to at home while studying or doing chores, but not outside home or while traveling as the outside world is already entertaining enough for me. When I want to relax for an evening or feeling to tired to be productive, often I watch anime or other series, mostly those that have some deep meaning or philosophy wh…

Thanks for the advise! Some well thought out arguments. This seems to go against our nature to want to express ourselves and feel connected with and understood by other people. However craving is dangerous, you'll never who will see/hear what you say or what they might do with that info. I'm often thinking about keeping a low profile and this reinforces my ideas strongly. People who you first were friends with may seem very accepting of you but they may completely lose interest in you or dislike…

Please look at the sub's discription: "independent male life". This means not having romantic relationships or depending on women for your happiness. Now of course you are free to do whatever you like but I don't think you will get the responses you are looking for in this sub.

What addition a woman could make to your life are you looking for? Someone with interesting hobbies or that makes a lot of money? Also why would you be against masturbation? I see no harm in it and makes you better focus on the important things in life if you're not horny anymore. As a last question, are you looking for a romantic relationship? Because MGTOW is about not having such relationships so you may have asked in the wrong sub.

I agree that lot of MGTOWs seem to be like this, however this particular sub is very different from the main one. Here I mostly see calm and rational stories and well thought out advice without too much emotion all over the place.

As a young dude, I'm okay with just porn sometimes. For the emotional part, I have some female friends that I can talk to everything about, we have a good relationship but just not anything sexual. I have no sexual urges towards any women ever, just checking them out if they're hot but no fantasies or urges to make a move.
/r/MGTOW203/06/19 11:48 AM

Is that the same as nofap? doesn't it just increase your sexual urges instead of decreasing?

I know that alcohol generally promotes estrogen in the body too, so boys who drink alcohol do become more feminine, and lose their drive While it is true that hop has estrogen-like compounds, it may be insufficient or not absorbed but my university professor who gave a lecture about this claimed that there are no studies showing significant feminizing effects of this in humans. I'm 22 and drink like 3-4 beers on a party night (like once or twice a month) and it does make things more fun and make…

Awesome that you're a vegan bodybuilder! Can confirm it's very cheap. Would like to suggest also supplementing vegan omega-3 from algea as it's good for brain health and reduces inflammation.

No of course you shouldn't be paid more or less just based on your gender, you should be paid a salary that fits the job. So yeah, the more dangerous jobs should have a higher pay.

Cheers man! Finally seeing reality for what it is makes you feel both great for attaining such wisdom, and sad because that illusion of having many friends was also great to live in for the time it lasted. Too bad no-one ever teacher or even talks about this with teens or children so the people who come to this conclusion and act on it truly get my respect. It may be hard to get used to this new life but it will get a lot easier over time.

What a mess at first, if I lived in such a house I would just lock myself in my room all day to avoid all that

Humans are carnivores? How big are your claws? Do you have sharp fangs? Hell, you can't even eat raw meat. Don't even think there is an animal you can catch, they will all outrun you or beat you in a fight. Btw, if you see yourself as belonging to carnism, which is also an "ism", so why won't you give up on that?

Damn what a bunch of white knights, we strive for equality right? If she decides to go on an adventure she should be able to do things on her own without bothering people far away. If the roles were reversed and OP was a woman, everything would be like NTA, he is a man and should be able to take care of himself.

At least it's better than being very horny 24/7 with no possible outlet and keep getting distracted by women everywhere you look.

Yeah i agree with you, that's why i specifically said in the long run. Indeed how it is implemented now leaves many people in poverty, families falling apart and with a feeling of uselesness, especially truckers are a good example of this with the rise of self driving trucks. This transitional period will be rough and with many protests probably. Although in my eyes (only being a naive student) it is worth it as in the end everyone will be better off as robots are so efficient that many things w…

I'm very excited about automation and in the long run make our lives way better and less stressful. The important thing is a long transitional time and proper implementation, which i think includes universal basic income so you can at least survive without a job. This is why I am looking forward to the changes Andrew Yang will make, whether or not he will become president. I am not american myself but whatever happens there will spread to the rest of the world.

unfortunately r/mgtow devolved in a women hate group with some genuinly good posts in between. if you say anything slightly positive about women, you will get downvoted into oblivion
