We define words based on a mutual understanding and expectation, not exceptions. What you're describing is a mutation, by definition, and exception to the rule. We teach that people have two eyes, two arms, and two legs, yet some people are born with more or less of those features. We don't teach that people have 1.8 or 2.1 arms or legs, we teach that they have 2. Why is this? Because those are anomalies, exceptions to the rule because statistically speaking they're completely and utterly insign…
