Cool. Let's end the trend of blaming individual behavior on groups. To start, I accept 0 responsibility for slavery, systemic racism, and the patriarchy.

Women are underrepresented with the shit jobs. The wage gap has a multitude of factors with gender being a very small sliver of the explanation. You grabbed that explanation regarding male suicide out your ass.

You can't compare a woman's natural estrogen values vs Men's supraphysiological estrogen as a result of excess aromatization from testosterone values.

Own my flaws as in telling her that I'm.. let's say.. having an off week? I don't know how to own my depressive episode. I remember in Rollo's book "Preventive Medicine" he said it's never a good idea to reveal your flaws, at least not explicitly. Right now, she's being defiant with everything I do. It's like a week long shit test.

Why are you seeking validation so hard? I golf and mountain bike with a group of orthopedic surgeons when our schedules allow us to do so and they frequently tell the stories how they knock the "fresh out of med school" baby docs down a peg or 10. Based on your consistent focus on one-upping me, seems like you need to be knocked down a few and actually tune your focus towards getting good at what you decide to do and being a knowledgeable physician before you seek praise.

That's such a bullshit and arbitrary way of attempting to determine how much you'll get paid. Depends what setting you match. If you're primary care, then you'll make around the same as my higher paid home health PTs, not to mention have 2-3x the student loan debt. If you get a surgical residency or any of the ROAD specialties, then you'll be pulling in some great money.

Don't remember saying the DPT is equivalent to an MD. I pull the majority of my income seeing patients and have a PT on staff pulling 150k per year. You don't know enough to have a discussion on this point.

I own a home health agency. And I'm a doctor of physical therapy.

Just purchased The Rational Male on Audible and will be listening to it all week in the car. Thanks.

Lol! Walked straight into that one when I included the word salty. That bit of information would certainly facilitate deciding whether or not to blow up the relationship and get back in the game after being out of it for 7 years

Confronting her isn't something I was ever considering. As I stated in my original post, it would only serve to weaken my position. That non-confrontational approach would yield results..

I wonder what's saltier, you or the portion of the pacific ocean I will fly over on my way to Hawaii.

Damn man. Reading what happened to you fucking hurts. Regardless of whether she's thinking of cheating or not, there needs to be ramifications for my fiancee's actions. Pulling myself away would certainly deliver the message, but we live together. I'm not opposed to separating with her, but after 6 years, I feel like waiting a month or two longer to confirm and suspicions might be worth it. Till then, I'm just going to focus on my physique and career and let her take a ride in the back seat of m…

This is the type of advice that I would've scoffed at and ridiculed 10 years ago but now I see as playing the game for what it is.

What I'm trying to do is rule out the possibility that I'm looking too far into this and am drawing conclusions based on things that may or may not be true. You're right - what I do know, for sure, is that she has been searching for this guy on Facebook constantly for the past 2 weeks. Is that enough information to blow up the relationship and start over when she's been otherwise solid for the past 6 years? No idea. My plan for now is to wait and see how this evolves. I have a year to figure out…

If I'm the problem, I can accept that, because I know I can change it. Not for her specifically, but in general. I've lived my life for many years as a low-quality "beta" male and have only in the past 5ish years have attempted to change that. I already have the physical side of The Red Pill lifestyle under control, but the mindset is difficult to manage. If all hope is lost with this relationship, then I will be left with no other choice than to jump ship and start new. Would fucking suck, but …

Hawaii isn't to impress her. I love Hawaii, it's cheaper to do a destination wedding, I'm already at the location of my honeymoon. I thought I was her "Alpha". Fucking sucks I might be just another beta in her eyes.

It'd be genuinely surprising if I'm the beta in this comparison. The guy she's supposedly talking to looks like some fat boyishly built real estate agent and I'm a built physical therapist with clout in my field. Who knows for sure. I used to be an absolute beta before I came across all the TRP material -- perhaps my inner beta has been exposing itself lately.

The Hawaiian wedding idea is cheaper than traditional weddings and I'm already there for the honeymoon. I'm not getting married there to impress her or her family. I just love the Hawaiian atmosphere.

Ah yes, the drill sergeant approach. I'm too old for that shit and too well read. I came on here for the exact reason you stated -- to get some perspective as I'm personally involved in this situation and cannot be fully objective. A physician worth his salt knows it's foolish to attempt to self-diagnose something catastrophically bad without running it by some colleagues to gain their perspective. My plan was to do as I've always done, keep moving forward with my life and have her along for the…

I'm 29 and have no idea why she got on Snapchat. My gut is telling me something is off but am still catching vibes that she sees me as the captain in our relationship and is still very much attracted to me. I mean, she woke me up yesterday by blowing me. I'm very strong and fit and have a great career and have a lot to offer. All very confusing.

I'm 29 and my fiancee is 29. No idea what compels her to use Snapchat. My thought is she uses it BECAUSE the messages cannot be retrieved. To answer your previous post, I believe if I cornered her then she would lie. I am prepared to walk but that would be depressing as fucking hell. I always thought of her as being a great Redpill wife (caring, sees me as a leader, great body, great career, would be good with children). I'm pretty rich now (earning ~140k per year) so finding a new woman wouldn'…

Except the Myers-Briggs isn't meant to be predictive of future behavior; it classifies you how you are (at that particular time, to be fair), not how you will be.
