The real answer isn't some mad conspiracy. It's because the pictures are easily available on Facebook or similar social media. A quick search will net a scumbag journo hundreds of pictures they can use, for free, instantly with little fear of repercussions because they've been publicly published.

Having read a little between the lines, it appears that she can still fight and appeal, just not be in the uk while she is doing it, on the grounds of public safety, so I guess it's best of of a bad situation? The Court of Appeal said her presence allowed her to fight the citizenship "effectively", that was overruled on public safety grounds. That doesn't mean she can't fight it ineffectivley from where she is, right? So she still gets her right to appeal but the public is protected. She could s…

Now, here we go. Unpopular opinion time. I think she should be allowed to return to the UK, but with a few caveats that all depend on stripping her citizenship. If she was stripped of her UK citizenship wrongly, then not allowing a challenge is a fundamental failure of the rule of law The law allows for challenges to be lodged and not hearing one is itself "illegal". After all, if you felt you'd been judged incorrectly for anything, wouldn't you want to be able to lodge a challenge? Law should b…

You're correct, that was an internal thing initially but the dismissal/discipline process notes or whatever must have been submitted as evidence to the tribunal, that and with the judge making reference to the parties relevant sizes, I don't think it's too much of a reach to assume that Tesco would have had to have doubled down on their company defence of "look at his size, there's no way she could have held him against his will" After all, if they didn't wouldn't they basically be admitting the…

Pussy pass granted. Company paid the settlement, woman who "falsely imprisoned" and "held hostage" a subordinate worker, suffered no consequence mentioned in the article. Meanwhile the victim, who suffers a diagnosed mental illness lost his job, was basically ridiculed in a court of law for not standing up for himself and has had said ridicule published in the press. Even winning the dude still lost.

Zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcba. Took me 27 trips through the alphabet, under no pressure, with a keyboard in front of me. Sober. Might as well ask me to hover three feet above the ground and turn water into wine, because any of those things occurring would be a miracle.

The chap above is an Australian, so I can't comment on the laws there. However here in the UK, if you are stopped for drink driving, you are given several chances for you to be proved guilty or innocent... First at the scene, you are breathalysed to give an indication of if you MAY be drunk. You may pass or fail this. You will be arrested or free to leave depending on the results. If you fail the roadside test, you'll be arrested "under the suspicion of" being drunk, with the arrest being necess…

Yeah, your right, Bill was accused of sexual assault, then acquitted, so out of the last 4 presidents, 50% of them have had sexual allegations made against them so, unless Bush/Obama have/had allegations made about them, its not a particularly good record for 21st century presidents...

Plus I don't even think detector vans exist I don't think I know of a single person who has ever seen one. Even if they did, unless they crash it through my front window or send a S.W.A.T team to bust down my front door, you simply unplug the ariel and your golden.

Dude, from the way I read the article they are now "former" football players and were advised to leave the school rather than being kicked out. So they are still being fucked for not doing anything wrong
