27 and getting divorced. If you can consult with every lawyer in the area so she can’t find one to represent her because of conflict of interest. Most law firms keep a record of all consults and if you’ve talked to one about the case they won’t represent her. | /r/MensRights | 17/08/23 12:41 AM
Men who are paying a huge chunk of your income on child support, how do you cope?Child support doesn’t make sense. If It did men would have custody a lot more then women. I feel for you I’m waiting to see what my payment every month will be and how much back support I’ll have. The states says I owe 3 years of back support to the amount of $23,000. Even though my son is 13 and I’ve given support to him whenever I’ve been asked to. But since we didn’t have a formal agreement and the state wasn’t getting their cut they want 3 years of back pay. | /r/MensRights | 10/08/23 08:50 PM
Men who are paying a huge chunk of your income on child support, how do you cope?If a women can’t afford to live without child support the government will give them housing, food, and money. A man can’t afford to live because of child support he goes into debt, loses his license, and ends up in jail. The system doesn’t care about men. Child support is only about generating money for the state. Since men tend to choose careers that are higher paying then careers women choose. The state gives custody to the mother because the way CS is calculated in most cases they’ll get more… | /r/MensRights | 10/08/23 07:28 PM

Litigation, Alimony, and Child Support in the U.S. Economy. In 2012 it was estimated that legal fees for divorce, child custody, alimony and child support was a $44billion industry.9 years later you can assume it’s a much bigger industry. I feel this is one of the main reasons men will always be subjected to this unfair system. There’s to much money involved to ever make the system equal for men. | /r/MensRights | 18/02/23 03:33 PM
I just sat in jail for 30 months for a false rape allegation.Sue everyone involved and delete this post. You don’t want to give the other side any ammo. My sister was in a car accident, completely the other persons fault. She had to have shoulder surgery. She posted a pic of FB before surgery and I commented “finally getting that thing fixed” the other sides lawyers brought that up in court. Better safe than sorry when it comes to a court battle. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/22 02:38 PM
