There is another girl I liked then (quiet/decent type) who I did ask out but she already had a boyfriend at the time. Saw stuff on her page about depression and stuff like that. She was halfway decent looking.....for a 39 y/o but not like she was. But I no longer say "what if"!

No intention of reaching out but thanks!

You hit the hammer on the nail I think. Based on her posts, she seems pretty insecure and is a pushover as well.

Crazy how the odds of success are so remote!

Ah, ok. Perhaps I should listen to my gut and stay off fb. Thanks

What are your experiences reconnecting? Any good or was it a waste of time? Resisted fb up to this point but have thought about creating an account temporarily.

Ah ok, hear a lot posted about this now but only here. Wonder if it goes mainstream.

There were almost 20 other candidates and they did whatever they could to keep Sanders from winning the nomination.

There's nothing to stop that person from telling others though.

Great post! Very informative. It would take a lot of passive income to come anywhere close to LTC insurance benefits though. Most everyone else who responded to this thread wrote off LTC insurance but you provide a valid counter argument.

I'd imagine that would piss off guys too if they get jealous.
/r/MGTOW26/10/20 04:30 AM
1

Yeah it felt different than the typical interaction tho.
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 04:54 PM
1

Absolutely not. Although there's a difference between nursing homes and assisted living or having someone come over.
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 04:37 PM
1

True. I can't complain about Progressive as they treated me well during an accident but I was a long time customer. If not for that, it may not have worked out as well. I know others who were screwed over by their insurance companies.
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 03:31 PM
1

Great points! Exactly! You could get more pressure to work more or harder if they know you don't have others (kids) to take up your time. That irks me because one's personal life should have nothing to do with the job. You could lose out on promotions or projects Yep. They might think the single guy "doesn't need the money" or would have too much leverage over them.
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 03:30 PM

Cool Guess it depends on work environment.

Yes, smiling and maintaining the eye contact on numerous occasions while being gaga over her.

Wow See and hear so many stories like this!

> so most people expect men of my age to just talk shit and be a bitter old man. Haha > i'm too old to really give a crap on what people think of me. Seems that getting older makes one not give a fuck what people think
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 02:22 AM

Then enjoy your 2A rights if you're in the U.S. Assuming that the 2A is still there at that point.
/r/MGTOW25/10/20 01:29 AM
2

I've found out that not giving a fuck is the best way to go. Just be yourself, focus on you and be happy! THIS! I was thinking "okay maybe I was rude". Not that I care what she thinks but maybe I hurt her feelings by being too "businesslike" in our last interaction. Maybe so but I'm sure she forgot all about me when the next "cute" guy came in or when she went home for the day.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:36 PM
2

That's why it's good to stay busy.... a good excuse to get out of those asanine conversations.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:33 PM
1

That's good not to give a shit, at least as long as they don't have any influence or control over your career.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:32 PM
1

Good advice. It took me awhile to figre out that co-workers are not friends. I had a job where I was friends with and hung out with co-workers. Ended up getting laid off. That didn't happen at jobs where I kept my distance.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:32 PM
1

I don't know they actually look down as much as they're jealous, and then try to screw you over.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:31 PM
1

Nice! I have had bosses and co-workers who volunteer to spend more time at work (unpaid) just to avoid going home. That's sad!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:30 PM
1

Or they could get jealous and sabotage you.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:28 PM
1

LOL. Good way to look at it!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:27 PM
2

Talk like that at work in a corporate environment and some people might hold that against you and sabotage you if they are able.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:27 PM
2

How old are you?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:26 PM
1

So let's say you lie and then someone runs into someone I know and finds out you're not married. What would you say if they call you out on it?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:26 PM
2

Same types don't understand introverts it seems.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:25 PM
3

This new guy that started in my group seems the same way. He's already blabbing about his personal life to co-workers.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:24 PM
6

That's a classic reponse!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:24 PM
2

That's a good reason not to date/marry a single mom, eh? I have thought about it!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 10:03 PM
1

Or with money as they get jealous.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:58 PM
1

How so?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:56 PM
1

Yikes! Not a fan of cameras but that would be a good place for one. Few doctors seem to have them tho. I was grocery shopping a couple years ago and ran into this girl at the store. I had no idea who she was but she told me that she used to be the dental assistant at my dentist. It then hit me, she cleaned my teeth twice a year for five years or so. So basically she hit the wall hard since I had last seen her. Funny she remembered me though even though she had to have had tons of other patients.…
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:23 PM

LOL
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:16 PM
1

Nah I never talk about that stuff. I'd probably go with option 2 since option 1 can get them thinking. The best thing is for them to assume I'm gay as it's a protected class. Yeah best not to care what they think. They're just co-workers, not friends, although I've noticed that the younger folks think they're friends. If someone at work wants to date you, just say “I don’t date coworkers.” Right. I've had them flirt but not flat out ask me out. I don't take the bait.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:15 PM

"she’s doing this with others. She wanted to pull you in as a distant orbiter - a Pluto in her solar system. She pulled the first name, eye contact play with a smile" You got it. Hammer on the nail. Considering this is a doctor's office and they have personal info on file, I wonder that's in play as well. "the big guy" LOL. Good thing I'm not running for President!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 09:12 PM
1

These women know you are maried?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:55 PM
2

Yeah..... one would want to think there are exceptions but it seems like they are all very similar and want to pin some of their responsibilities on someone else.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:04 PM
1

Agreed.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:02 PM
2

Maybe she will if she thinks I'm playing hard to get.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:26 PM
1

They might think that's weird considering most everyone else in the group does. No facebook, fortunately. Don't even have linked in. People tell me I should. It has its perks but also its downsides.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:25 PM
1

Yeah. I actually feel kinda bad as if I lead her on. But hey, there's an attraction and I couldn't help it. It's very rare and doesn't happen often but it happens. I normally go out of my way to avoid prolonged eye contact with attractive chicks unless there's a business purpose. Of course that was impossible to avoid in this situation.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:24 PM
2

Ah so confuse the fuck out him him with a message that has nothing to do with what he asked and change the subject? Worth a shot. Seems it could work, at least unless they try to go back to that topic later.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:21 PM
2

Heh. Thinking about going for it? That would be temping I must admit.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:20 PM
1

Do you work in a professional environment or with women?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:19 PM
2

Amazing how that can change one's thinking. There are times I actually going online and talk to or consider dating a single mom. Ugh!
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:18 PM
2

As to the mask - absolutely, because women pick up on non-verbal signals such as facial expressions its a great wedge that is being brilliantly and tactfully deployed to drive the sexes apart. Good observation! This has really impacted the dating market, I'm sure. The powers that be want less population and this was either an intentional or accidental gold mine that helps drive both men and women apart in real life encounters (which for the past 10 years has really been the only way to meet some…
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:17 PM

They might insinuate it's weird and tell others what you say tho.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:11 PM
3

Good technique, if one was previously married. I wouldn't lie tho.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:10 PM
5

That's the approach I have taken at work.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 04:10 PM
8

How should I have responded to that question then? It would be rude af to say "none of your business".
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:11 AM
5

But wouldn't that get people to start speculating and spread rumors?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:11 AM
3

She's an optician and it all started when she was checking my eyes. Perhaps I was a bit too friendly.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 06:01 AM
26

Yeah, you're probably right. And she's probably married or has a boyfriend as well.
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 05:59 AM

Interesting! Kind of a similar thing here although it started in my 30s. How old are the women who are hitting on you?
/r/MGTOW24/10/20 05:31 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
