Thousands of comments of women's experiences giving birth with shitty partners under a meme about a dude Shushing his wife giving birth. This one in particular got me. THANK GOD I am never pro creating with a man.In 2016, a UK man raped his gf while she was in labor. He was cleared of all charges. In 2017, a Chinese man caused his wife to jump out a window to her death because she was in labor and needed a c-section but he and his parents wouldn't allow it. Hospital staff waited 21 minutes to go out to the parking lot to find her. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/12/21 02:33 AM
Just broke up with a sweet, funny, kind and attentive guy, because he works a minimum wage jobThere's a big difference between minimum wage and not-rich. Min wage workers who have no outside help are often barely able to survive. Not- rich men usually still support themselves with a modest full-time job without needing their girlfriends' money. Also, OP's guy does have a choice since he is qualified for a normal job but doesn't want one. Society does have an unhealthy worship of money and a cruel attitude toward marginalized workers, but OP's situation is different. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 06/12/21 05:46 PM

Unbelievable... my brother can't come visit our dying mother several states away but has time to go to a further state to sky dive with his bros. He's an asshole for how he treats you, his wife, his kids, and his pets. However, I don't think he owes anything to your mom. When kids are abused, it's common for relatives to urge the victim to forgive because it affects overall family dynamics, though. Even other victims do it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 05/12/21 09:10 AM

If you're in acute pain, it's probably too late for cranberry and d mannitose. If you can't afford ER, tell them you're homeless and don't have any ID. Keep on raising your standards!!!From an interview with private investigators in Los Angeles Magazine : Barbara Wolford: There are always signs. When a man thinks his wife is cheating, it’s a 50-50 chance. A man might notice his wife going out in a nice outfit and he’ll get suspicious. But maybe she is really going out with the girls. When a woman calls, she’s 90 percent accurate. Women know. They have intuition. They are more observant. | 2 | Why is it that the men you hoped to never hear from again keep popping up like Lestat from the swamp?I remember Rice's erotica novellas seemed very preoccupied with trying to make sense of the random, needless pain and suffering in life. There was this idea that pain was a virtue because it was a path that led you to some kind of enlightenment if you could endure all of its trials. The characters that found happiness were the ones who stopped fighting the mistreatment ( because they had no way out) and just made peace with it. It reminded me of another book: Blow Your House Down: A story of fam… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/10/21 02:20 PM |

Why is it that the men you hoped to never hear from again keep popping up like Lestat from the swamp?Interesting trivia: The novel the movie is based on is partly inspired by the author's marriage . Anne Rice, the author, was like Louis, and her husband was like Lestat. She felt overshadowed by him, she didn't have much of her own income, she was afraid to drive, and she was a shell of a person because their daughter died. Then when Interview with a Vampire became successful, she leveled up and the dynamic between her and her husband switched. In the sequel, The Vampire Lestat, she identified m… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 07/10/21 05:15 AM
Recommendations for "Chick Lit" Books?I thought the same about Tina Fey and her husband having opposite energy, but he didn't rub me the wrong way as much as Jen's husband did. Edit: I also felt that Tina preferred to take the lead, and her husband preferred to follow, but there was flexibility there. | 2 | Recommendations for "Chick Lit" Books? What did you guys think of Jen's boyfriend/husband? It seemed like he had more feminine energy and she had more masculine, which usually doesn't work. I remember FDS posts about " take charge gals" and "masculinas" being a way for women to cope with a life where a man doesn't step up and take care of her, or where she feels she doesn't deserve acceptance if she's vulnerable. But I think Jen is the exception to the rule. She thrived in her masculine energy and his feminine energy complemented her… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 13/09/21 03:52 AM

Black women and weaponsThanks for the heads up. It's ridiculous that you were downvoted for pointing out a simple fact. My suspicion is that OP read the article and posted about it, then the video was released later. Early press did say that she had dropped the knife when police arrived. Her post made sense at that time, but proved to be inaccurate when the video came out. When we disagreed with her later after seeing the footage, she dug her heels in. It's a common phenomenon when people feel challenged. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/04/21 04:07 AM
Stupid question: How do I block and delete in Gmail? Thanks for your reply. I looked it up but only saw how you can block a sender and delete their email, not delete their address from your contacts. You can still see their address under the "filters and blocked addresses" tab in the settings. If you were tempted to email them again, you could look up their address there. Edit: This is in Windows. The Android app doesn't have the option to see the list of blocked senders, I think. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 22/04/21 12:06 AM
Black women and weaponsLook, I agree with everything you said about racism, sexism, and statistics regarding the brutal way black women are treated by cops. But the slow motion video of the shooting clearly shows her about to stab the girl in pink. The knife looked inches from pink girl's head, neck and chest. It looked too close for cop to have run over to her and grabbed the knife. This is why we don't do that.I saw in your OP that you never said SAHM were stupid, dumbasses, unsophisticated, uninteresting, etc. It was definitely other posters, not you. Though by the number of upvotes of such posts, it seems a popular opinion, even though I know you don't share it. I did say it was condescending, because though most of what you said is hard truths that women need to know, I got the sense that you felt SAHM didn't know those truths. | 1 | There's been an uptick of women defending SAHM on FDS. This is why we don't do that.Aren't we saying the same thing? Don't call women stupid for staying at home? I think you're confusing me with someone else when you tell me that I defensively use myself as an example of a mom who got lucky and that I called the ones who didn't stupid. I never said that. Also, OP's focus was the risk of SAH, and I want people to know there is risk to being a working mom too. She wasn't wrong, just incomplete. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 11/03/21 04:20 PM

This is why we don't do that.I meant that SAHMs can be stupid just like anyone, but I didn't mean that the act of being one makes them stupid (or smart or average or any other assessment of their mental faculty).
