Weekends suck. What's your best post divorce moment?Being able to take the time to do the things that I want to do. I really got into hiking during my divorce. I started off with a bike trail and have explored some nature around my area. I’ve also done a lot of camping and started to explore some hobbies I’ve always wanted to do. So, when I’m not with my girlfriend, I’m either out in nature or doing some wood working. Totally helped me get through the pain of my divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/09/25 05:02 AM
Video Games in your 40s?Arma 3 is a fantastic one to consider on PC. That’s where I’ve found my niche. A wide range of ages can be found on there and I like the collaborative teamwork a lot of groups have. I’ve made some good friends in that space. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/06/23 12:23 AM
Fiction books for fun?Agreed. Though I remember as a kid, the depiction of the USS John C. Stennis being hit really took me back. That was such a crazy moment to see. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/05/23 05:05 AM
Fiction books for fun?I’ve gotten back into some cool military fiction books again. I’ve go through Red Storm Rising, Team Yankee, 2034 etc. Maybe that stuff is up your alley my dude! | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/05/23 07:22 AM
Wife decides to be gay & is leaving meMy man. That’s about the time that my wife told me the same thing. I too am living with her right now. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. I can’t just turn the switch off with loving her. Just like yours, she is staying around here for as long as she can since I am basically her safety net. The best thing to do is 1) See a therapist. You cannot be going through this alone. If you’re like me, this has fucked with your mind and hurt you to the core. You may be experiencing things… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/21 02:09 AM
Wife has the kids and I have no idea where they areThat makes sense. People who I have talked to about what is going on have thought that at some point it's not going to work out for her or there is going to be some kind of reckoning. They think that she's going to try and come back and I'm not sure what I'd do. I appreciate the advice dude. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/05/21 09:54 PM
Wife has the kids and I have no idea where they areI appreciate you saying this. Out of curiosity, did your wife regret what she did. At any point did she try and come back to you when it didn’t work? | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/05/21 05:26 PM
