1	'Let me take a selfie' Never said she was telling the truth. Surmise means assume a truth with very little or no evidence. I was just looking for and pointing a finger at the train of thought that would lead one to the belief stated at the end of the article. 8	'Let me take a selfie' The article mentions that the police report states the husband started to strangle the wife. With that in mind one could surmise that the relationship was highly volatile on both ends. That is where the idea of the child as the victim may come from. But, the story was most likely told by the wife who would most certainly (as anyone would) stretch or fabricate events to defend her actions.
