So true man. I love cold approaching and wish I could do daygame/nightgame but COVID has made things so hard. Seems like everyone is using OLD right now and I've never been big on that.

Hahaha that makes sense. Will definitely need to calibrate and not actively try to game.
/r/askTRP18/10/20 01:49 AM
1

Yeah since I'm new I figured I would get a feel for it a few nights and calibrate based on that. Do you think it's worth working Saturday nights just for this? My goal is to get new leads and I figure it would be better to do this working at the bar than trying to game with a friend when there's so many social distancing restrictions at bars and people are mostly seated at tables. Figure I'll be able to meet more girls bouncing than actually going out.
/r/askTRP18/10/20 01:46 AM
1

How did your friend go about getting their numbers? I figure you can't just play the numbers game and ask every girl in line. Do you just get their numbers when they flirt with you or only when they offer it? Is there any specific way to go about this?
/r/askTRP17/10/20 11:08 PM

Yeah man I feel this. Honestly right now there aren't a lot of options so if malls are open that's not a bad place to game. Aside from that you can try Walmarts, grocery stores, coffee shops, downtown streets, and college campuses. Also just open girls that you see when you're going about your day.

Start a conversation with her about something related to the store. Make an obervation like "When I was in X country the convenience stores were much larger but here they seem to be a lot smaller" or "I noticed that you guys don't sell coffee and I was disappointed because I'm a huge coffee drinker." See how it goes and if she's responding well, say "I gotta run but I enjoyed talking to you. Let's grab a drink on X day" and if she agrees get her number and confirm logistics over text. Don't list…

Love this piece by Roosh. I always read it when I’m feeling down or experiencing a dry path in game.

Or something stupid like that. If she says no ask her to prove it. If she says yes tell her to show you. Give her some type of plausible excuse to invite you upstairs. If I try to pull back to her place and she say's it's messy or some bs excuse, should I just revert to pulling her to my place and say something like "The night is still early. I want to continue the party somewhere else." and try to get her to my place. Not sure how to pitch the backup if she gives resistance to going to her plac…

OHP will hit all heads of the delt and build your entire shoulder girdle. Lateral raises will hit the middle delts, so you should be doing both.

In terms of delts overhead press is your friend. Get your form right and focus on overhead press and lateral raises.

What parts of it do you think are outdated? Is it better to convey interest to the target at first or disqualify her and then show interest?

Daygame is your friend. Approach girls during the day. Read Day Bang to start with and adjust your game as you open more girls.

You can expand your social circle through insta but IMO it's mostly for orbiters and you are always better off getting the number and getting a girl out over text. Social media is a waste of time and is geared towards people seeking validation and obsessing over what everyone else is doing. If you're approaching skills and game are on point you shouldn't need Insta for preselection - you are already setting yourself apart from every AFC DMing girls on Insta by having the balls to approach in per…

When a girl offers you her Instagram, insist on getting her number. Girls will give out their insta, snap, etc. to anyone and are just looking for followers.

I have been approaching on campus, here's what i do: I don't wear a mask when I'm walking around on campus (outside) but if I am in a venue where I need to wear one I will usually take it off before opening a girl. Don't worry about the masks thing, it's a nuisance but you can just take it off when you approach. In terms of the girls you are approaching on campus, try to approach one sets (girls that are alone). When girls are with their friends they will be a lot more self conscious and be less…

I didn’t say you shouldn’t take action. I said you should affirm the beliefs you want to adopt and take action to reflect those beliefs. Not that hard to understand.
/r/askTRP10/07/20 01:55 AM

What’s wrong with changing your beliefs? Pook says “Think and you shall become”. Changing your beliefs about yourself and taking action to reflect those beliefs reprograms your mind.

People talk a lot about developing a DGAF mindset. The truth is that it isn't something you can just turn on in your head. DGAF is developed through lots and lots of rejection and especially by approaching in very difficult scenarios and realizing that the end result is not even 5% as bad as you would imagine. What you need to do is make approaching attractive women a part of your identity. Practice meditating and repeating to yourself "I am a man that approaches attractive women" and when you g…

In terms of projecting SMV I’m very serious about lifting and look pretty jacked. I usually just wear sneakers, shorts, and a tight fitting tshirt. I dress very casually and in plain colors. I’ve seen guys that try to dress up fashionably and it doesn’t come across as masculine. I think it looks higher SMV if a guy is jacked and wearing casual clothes, a baseball cap, etc. I may be wrong here and it could just be that I’ve never been one to dress up.

How can I make conversation aside from the opener if I am approaching during day game?
/r/askTRP03/07/20 03:12 AM

Yeah I don't enjoy texting at all haha. I guess I should be less outcome dependent on getting the date and just text whatever seems funny/spontaneous to me at the time.

I think one thing that helps me get into a socially outgoing zone is leaving little time in between my interactions/approaches. The more time you think about what you're doing, the more you get in your head. When you are just talking to people in your environment and focusing on the interactions you can let go and enjoy yourself. The 3 second rule is really helpful - when you see a girl you find attractive don't think about it, just approach her and enjoy the interaction while being outcome inde…

You just need to adapt your game and venue selection. Right now bars are not an option so try outdoor venues and malls. Outdoor shopping centers, busy parks, etc. are all good options. Don't use dating apps because it will be a waste of your time as a lot of those girls are just looking for attention/orbiters. If anything, it is actually much easier to day game right now because women can't go to bars/clubs and are not being approached by guys. I've been monk mode for the last couple of months a…

You're right, having her enter my frame by inviting her to an activity I was already going to do is a good idea.

I'm already asking the girl out before I get her number but it might not be specific enough. After talking to her for a few minutes, I'll say "I gotta go but would you like to grab coffee or get drinks sometime?" and get her number if she says yes. Should I mention a specific day and activity rather than being vague?
/r/askTRP30/06/20 05:43 PM

You're right man. It's just that I spent a lot of quarantine reading books on game and learning about approaching so it's been frustrating not being able to put that knowledge into action.

I just finished reading the book and it was a beautiful story. My biggest takeaway from it was that every person has a destiny/mission that can be fulfilled. That mission will be different for each person, but it is unique and you must listen to your heart to find out what your dreams/destiny are. The boy learns about this when talking to the king about bakers and shepherds. The king tells the boy that people’s destinies are influenced by status and other external factors when they should be loo…

That’s weird, now that I think of it that seems to be a pretty true statement - there are fewer single people the higher up you go in a company. I wonder if you can imply causation through correlation here. This could be because people higher up are generally older and older people are more likely to be married/have families.

Book of Pook Pook says that change comes with how you think. One of the biggest realizations I had was that I can make changes in my life simply by adopting different views/beliefs about myself. The book also taught me to stop overthinking everything and embrace the inner child in me. That kid who used to laugh, run around, have fun, and didn’t give a fuck about anything. That kid didn’t overthink or intellectualize the world around him. He focused on having fun and brought girls into his world.

That makes a lot of sense. I think being able to approach during the day gives you a huge advantage because very few guys do it and it improves your game in general. What do you generally do for dates? I’ve found that having a good first date idea can make or break turning a number into a date.
/r/TheRedPill30/05/20 08:56 PM
1

How do you open them? I’ve been trying to cold approach more on campus but noticed that girls aren’t used to being opened during the day because most guys only approach at parties/clubs. Do you use a specific opener or just ask them their name, year, etc. and start a conversation?

Frame is influenced by inner game which is the collection of beliefs you have about yourself and your outlook on goals, life, etc. Book of Pook is the best book on inner game out there because it teaches you to develop a prize mentality and a strong frame flows naturally from that.

Men’s SMV peaks in their 30s. The idea that your 18-22 years are the best time of your life is a blue pill idea based on when women’s SMV peaks. Most people don’t live the lives they want after their youth because they don’t focus on achieving their mission and get stuck in a soul crushing 9-5 with a wife they hate and kids they have to take care of. Then they look back and think about how great their college years were. Use this time to go to the gym, find your mission, approach girls, build yo…

One of the things that has helped me is writing down positive beliefs/affirmations about myself and repeating them in my head while breathing in and out slowly as a form of meditation. Take a belief like "I am the prize" and repeat it in your head while visualizing it. In your daily life take actions that reflect this belief and you will adopt it in your mind. The beliefs you have about yourself make you who you are - not your height. Alpha is a state of mind not a physical manifestation. "In or…

Book of Pook is all you need for inner game/frame. Go to the main TRP sub and look up "The alpha spectrum is huge" - this is a post about a guy named Alonso who didn't give a fuck, was 5'5, not very good looking and still pulled harder than his friend who was tall and built. Self-improvement, working out, etc. is important but at the end of the day inner game is the most important thing. Women will view you based on how you view yourself.

I like the concept of indirect being a more prolonged version of direct game. I think in a lot of cases indirect allows you to approach with a better frame because you are getting to know the girl through conversation before asking her out, rather than just going up to her and starting with "I thought you were cute and had to say hi". With the latter you're pedestalizing her and giving her a compliment without getting her to invest first. A high value guy wouldn't just look at a girl and immedia…

If you're worried about coming across as being fake you're going about it with the wrong frame. Here's a good frame to have when approaching: "I am a high value guy and this girl caught my attention because she is attractive, interesting, etc. I would like to get to know her more and if she's cool, I'll invite her out to grab drinks/coffee with me later." Girls want to enter your world, they aren't attracted to guys that try to enter their world. With this mindset, you shouldn't worry too much a…

Game is Roosh’s newest book which is an updated version of both Bang and Day Bang combined. Bang was focused more around night game while Day Bang focused on day game. In Game Roosh covers both and gives more actionable advice - you can get the audiobook on Audible. I would recommend reading The Book of Pook before reading Roosh’s material because it focuses on the inner game concepts that are a prerequisite to outer game.

When a girl is seated (sitting in a cafe, browsing in a store, etc.) use indirect by talking about something related to the venue. When a girl is walking, use a direct opener by mentioning something about her and dropping bait. If you're unfamiliar with the bait dropping strategy read Roosh's newest book game. He talks about the "Where I'm from" bait where you mention something about her or your environment and get her to invest by asking where you're from. Learn to ramble and drop the "Where I'…

You automatically have a stronger frame when you view yourself as the prize to be won rather than the women. When you adopt this mindset you go in with the frame of having women enter your world rather than chasing them and entering their frame. Build your own value by lifting, learning humor/banter (watch stand up), and reading books. A great way to easily show frame in interactions with girls is to make sure you’re enjoying the conversation/interaction. When you talk to a girl, tease a girl, e…

I liked Game a lot too. Gives a lot of practical advice on taking action. I think it’s good to have a balance between being focused and laid back. Being too focused and serious can make you seem too outcome dependent so I would focus on being chill/laid back as well. Also in the book, Roosh says that you can use other guys to gain access to women in a group. By being friendly and befriending the guys, you can gain favor with them and they will introduce you to the girls in their group. Creating …

This. A lot of the people that go on about college being the best time of your life, etc. are the ones that have gone nowhere after it and are stuck in some depressing job they hate. IMO college and your (18-21) years in general are the best time to fail, try new things, and work on getting better. Men's SMV starts peaking in the early 30s, but most guy's don't reap the rewards of that because of not focusing on self-improvement, settling down too early, have oneitus, etc.
/r/askTRP12/05/20 01:19 AM

Instead of visualizing success, try and visualize the worst case outcome. Play that scenario through your head and go do the approach anyway. Chances are the outcome won't be anywhere near how badly you visualized it to be and you may even be surprised by a good outcome. In 'Day Bang' (recommend reading this), Roosh says that he is more concerned with not making an impression on a girl than making a bad one. He says his worst fear is not making a bad impression, but being unnoticed.

How do you do this?. I’ve been doing it by breathing in and out five times and repeating “I am the prize” to myself five times and visualizing it. Interested to see what worked for you.

Yeah it was the Alonso post lol. Appreciate the advice - really changes the way I’ve been viewing my interactions with women. I should be focusing on the value I get from them rather than trying to appear a certain way. I guess if I go in with the mindset of entertaining myself, teasing/flirting comes more naturally and is more genuine.
/r/askTRP03/05/20 04:17 PM

I 100% agree with you. The “Become the Prize” chapter completely chanted the way I view myself. One of my favorite lines from the book is “In order to be successful in the world, you must be successful in your mind.”

Haha. Even if you do get a number how can you escalate with all venues being closed. Like you can’t grab drinks at a bar or even get food anywhere.

things are never going back to the way they once were What do you mean by that? People will have to get back to work at some point and cold approaching should be doable by then right?

How do you open girls when they're sitting down in dining halls? In general when you are asking out girls, do you go direct and tell them they're cute or do you go indirect and start up a conversation based on something they're wearing, doing, etc.?

Man, this was really helpful for me. I honestly think day game is a lot better than night game, because there's fewer negative variables like friends, cock-blocks, loud music, etc. and girls are generally more receptive to you vs. night game where they can lose attention at the drop of a hat. I guess you're right that I'm getting in my head and overanalyzing it. Some girls have acted surprised or confused when I cold approach them, but at the end of the day it's a numbers game so I shouldn't let…

How do you deal with feeling weird about cold approaching in a college setting, where the majority of guys don't do it and rely on social circle? This was something that affected my frame and kept me from approaching more. Also do you go indirect as opposed to direct when approaching? One thing I struggled with before quarantine was being able to get enough volume in regard to approaches on campus because I did not want to approach too many girls and develop a reputation.

How do you cold approach in a college environment? Curious because I go to a big university and was struggling with this before quarantine. Which venues do you approach in and how do you open? Social circle seems to be important in college but I grew apart with friends so I've been having trouble with this.

I wasn't passionate about lifting before I put in the work to get into it. Just because you're not interested in something since you were a kid doesn't mean you can't develop an interest in it later on.

Any resources or books you would recommend to learn rules/strategies for the NFL and familiarize myself with the different teams, etc.?

I think he's referring to the reality that even a good looking guy would face rejection when approaching so rejection will always be a big part of the game. Working on your appearance is important but you ultimately have to deal with the fact that you will still face rejection and focus on the girls that like you instead.

Check out Game by Roosh - it's a more updated version of Bang and Day Bang and I found it to be a pretty comprehensive overview of game from opening to getting the bang.

This makes a lot of sense. I guess looks just serve as an opener and once you have a girl's attention, it's your behavior that determines if you get the bang or not. I guess this is just a difference in male/female thinking where most guys would bang a high SMV girl but a high SMV guy wouldn't be able to bang every girl. Since I started lifting, I noticed a lot more IOIs but even with a good physique, it wasn't like every girl was eager to bang me. I was confused at the time because I had put a …

You can solve that issue of "addiction to fertile females" by approaching and spinning plates, not by watching porn and masturbating. Even when you don't have plates, you can control your frequency and masturbate without porn.

Porn is the worst vice you can have because it kills your desire to approach women and drains your energy. Identify the triggers and cut them out - instead of browsing the internet do something more productive. It's ok to masturbate when you need to (once every 1-2 weeks) just make sure you don't do it to porn. If you feel the urge to watch, remind yourself of the reasons you want to quit and meditate for a few minutes.

I'm using this time to work on my inner game and build self discipline/frame. Some things I'm doing everyday are: Running 2-4 miles on a trail everyday Cooking/eating a healthy diet Meditating (affirmation, frame, confidence) Reading TRM, Book of Pook, Models Stopped porn completely Quit vaping No alcohol My goal by the end of this is to come out with a stronger frame and self-discipline. I've found that outer game is easy to develop through reading/approaching, etc. but going monk mode and focu…

You're right - In a way by saying she was tired she was giving me some bait to respond to and I could have asked her if she went out the night before or something like that. By jumping straight into logistics I see how it seemed like I ignored what she said and just went off a script, which is exactly what I did. In the future, should I make some small talk and naturally use that to mention a venue to meet up/hang out? My game was strong when I went for the number so I could have gone for the in…

In 'Day Bang' Roosh says that you should wait atleast 2-4 days after getting the number to text the girl. Is this bad advice or what should I be doing in terms of timeline?

By provide, do you mean women love men for what value they can give them? I guess this goes back to Rollo's concept of solipsism. Do you think this concept ties into why a lot of women cheat on their husbands after years of marriage?

Watch Limitless. The guy is like 30 and is a complete loser and changes his life for the better. Once he focuses on self-improvement he builds experiences and a lifestyle that 99% of guys never get to experience. I'm 21 and recently found TRP. There have been so many opportunities with girls, career, etc. that I blew earlier on. I remember this girl in high school that approached me, complimented me, etc. and I couldn't even make that work. There were so many experiences like this where I can lo…

Why do you think he’s cringe? Do you think his approach strategies are good because they seem to work in some of his vids. Would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

They say that every inch of height adds around 8 inches of mass so at my height you would be around 166 which is on the leaner side.

I didn’t say I was a huge guy. I definitely look like I lift but I’m not huge by any means. I’m bulking right now and trying to hit 200 at around 10% bf so I still have a lot of work to do.
