Pursuing your interests is a great way of developing your skills for your future as a wife. Not only does it increase your value as a potential life partner and helper to your man, but it will bring you into circles of people who appreciate the crafts you love. Who knows, maybe that next seminar you sign up for, will cause you to make a new friend, who will introduce you to her older brother... and the rest is history! It's all about connections at the end of the day - getting to know people you…

I'm sorry about all this. I wish it could work out. For my Christian friends I always recommend prayer. It is the only way to overcome and persevere through difficulty. Have had great victory through Christ in these situations!

Truly loving someone is laying your own needs down for the sake of that person's wellbeing. Helping someone overcome their negative tendencies requires patience, love and forebearance. I have seen this in my own relationship, both in how my husband helps me and how I help him. We have helped each other grow. If he wants you to fight for the relationship, he still wants you. No doubt he feels attacked and criticised by you, which would explain his logical conclusion to end the relationship, despi…

Totally yes, older widows often live alone, and younger unmarried women who have left home, etc. Ideally I think, such women should have some or other protective oversight from an older male in the near or extended family (even if just through phone contact, occasional check-ins). Or even some acquaintance who is familiar enough to have regular contact with her, just keep an ear out, know how she's doing, ensuring that no one is exploiting her, etc Often such men can offer a cautionary word of a…

This is pretty hectic. The force of effectivity in this movement is astounding. Your link between responsibility without authority being slavery is very insightful. I pray you find a good woman.

This is difficult for women to judge sometimes. A lot of the time we can get charmed by a devious guy because he knows the moves, but all he wants is his way and then moves on. This is why men must look out for the women in their families. Only men fully understand the way other men think. So just that possessive father/caring brother who asks his daughter/sister where she's going and for how long, or gives her a safe car to drive for an outing, or recommends for her to go out at a safer time …

I'm actually neither Red nor Blue Pill. I am Christian! I embrace feminine submission in marriage and have been taught so by my mother. So there is no resentment or unlearning I have had to go through in this respect. I have always found male leadership healthy, respectable and admirable.

It's a tragic revolution of mass perception, and has happened phenomenally quickly. If upstanding men had nipped this in the bud earlier, no doubt the fallacies would have died a natural death, but now the climate is such that no matter what a man does or says to defend his gender, it's suspect. It would seem too much power has been given up by now?

Haha, many people say my voice is soothing. Guess it's good but not if it puts people to sleep lolz 🤣 Thankfulness is indeed such a wonderful virtue. It benefits both you and spouse/partner. I venture even to say that a man of weak character can be inspired to do better by a woman who patiently builds him up day by day. I would recommend this for Christian women, as she will need the strength of the Spirit to draw from in difficult times. But it can be done and there are many testimonies to affi…

I never said what you're assuming about our relationship? The point is to believe your man is capable, even more capable than you are. This inspires him like nothing else can. In essense, its9 not a fake belief, because of the Pygmalion Effect.

The way I like to think these sort of scenarios is like this: relationship over situation. In other words, let the situation slide for the sake of maintaining a bond of peace and confidence. This way you show your man you have confidence in him to think for himself, and if he makes a mistake, you still respect him.

Men vary greatly in their preferences! There are enough out there who seriously dig brown hair. Like my hubby. I would rather work on the inner self if you think you've done enough about the outward. Good men look for good-hearted women and would take that over a hottie any day! My hubbie always gets super turned off by attractive women who seem brainless and vapid.

Maybe ask her if she is willing to make a pact with you. Bear in mind pregnancy is not the time to workout intensively or go on diet, and she also needs a year postpartum to slowly ease back into normal life again. So let her know your desires in the kindest way possible, and start with what you said in the last paragraph - she ticks all the boxes of a Godly woman for you. That is a massive compliment! Then see if she could commit to a workout and diet program with you, starting with gentle heal…

For us, the romance has only increased with time in our marriage! It is good to pray for a spouse but also to be able to have the same grace and forgiveness Christ has for the repented heart.

It is also so interesting how the majority of diviners and mediums are women. The female quest for spiritual enlightenment is echoed down through the ages, and manifests in demonic leading when the woman eschews the leading of a man over her.

Haha, ok ☺ I do see the fear that motivates some wives, and that seems to stem from a lack of trust. A vote of no confidence so to speak. My translation of the Bible KJV says "thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Which is why my take is, desiring more from the husband. Which in itself can manifest as distrust if the woman is convinced before even attempting to trust, that her needs will not be met. She needs it so badly she can't afford to be disappointed so she take…

Read Psalm 46! https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+46&version=KJV When you are hidden in Christ, you have nothing to fear. No matter what happens to you, all that matters is that peace within that transcends all things. And should calamity come, it will not be without a plan. You can pray for God to send you a good woman. There are such women who will persevere through all manner of trials in marriage, so hang in there. Ask God to prepare you, but first and foremostly that you bec…

I think also, the woman desires her husband in a very deep way that is somewhat impractical? She wants more of his time, more adoration, more appreciation - never satisfied. Unless she exercises wisdom and sobriety, she will always be disatisfied, regardless of whether she is in fact well-loved. Therefore she needs to be ruled.

There is definitely a psychological aspect to power too. Women are masters of manipulation, based on the inherent vulnerability men have for women. So in this way, with propaganda working in women's favour and weak men co-operating to disenfranchise themselves for the empowerment of women, a psychological shift is taking place worldwide, redefining human morality as a whole, which in turn seems to be giving women the power to define morality itself. The danger of this is it continually changes t…

To be honest, I cannot understand why so many women want the vote. It doesn't interest me to have that power or influence. I feel men do a much better job in politics and all areas of big decision making. There's so much distrust between the sexes. Women need to learn to trust and respect men again.

I used to have zero attraction for kids and babies and privately worry that there was something wrong with me and that I'd make bad mother. Babies were loud and stinky. Kids even more so. This all changed when a broodiness came over me after almost 2 years of marriage. I had scratched the "relationship itch" and a new need emerged in my heart: I wanted to have a baby! I now have 3 little boys and am absolutely smitten with them - snips and snails included! I adore every aspect of them. Even th…

You can also just be vulnerable about it: clearly state that you're concerned this may be overstepping the line to ask this of him, and you hope this won't upset him. You know it's a silly little thing but you don't want it to get the better of you. Be transparent. This way you are affirming your respect for him while at the same time putting in an appeal.

As a woman who watches in concern as feminism morphs from one tyranny into the next, your points above make a lot of sense. Very interesting insights! Women who are filled with restlessness, dissatisfaction, rebellion and self-service wreak so much disaster! How is that the more sweet and harmless sex can at once become so malicious?

However, the older women are commanded to teach the younger women? There is so much in marriage to be learnt as women, and we should be passing down our gained wisdom to the next generation (at least the ones who are interested). On the other hand I do see what you mean about men catering their posts. I think you guys need privacy in certain areas while you discuss certain things, and I can respect that (as much as women need privacy from men on certain of their own issues, for the sake of dec…

I absolutely agree with all you have said, and also newly appreciating that as in all things, men have to lead the way in this return to God's design for marriage, in order for women to know where and how this road is mapped out. Let the men do the bushwacking and clear a way! Thanks for your detailed response!

Yes, I so agree, a r/rpcw would be ideal. I am finding it very hard to find such women, oddly enough. There are a small handful I find scattered across various social media platforms after much searching. I appreciate that women are (somewhat?) welcome here, and also respect the core mission to cultivate leadership and Godly masculinity in tandem with Godly womanhood, which is probably why a separate subreddit would work better for us women.

I think the part about SAHM "clearly having so much time on their hands" is what rubs us the wrong way! The workload of kids, husband and home is overwhelming, as hard as this is to believe. Then again, I wholeheartedly agree with your point, being that we need to conciously counteract the demise of our minds by stimulating learning. A great "two birds with one stone" is homeschooling your kids! Challenging, sometimes fun and keeps you on your toes. Until that point, there is no excuse for not r…

You know what, you may just be the perfect person for him, to help him experience emotion in a safe space. This sort of growth in a man can take years, so if you think you're up to it and can handle the emotional "fast" for that time, you will probably be able to coax a more tender side out of him with your gentleness, understanding and patience. In the meantime, find a good, uplifting friend who can bolster you when you need it during the tough times, someone who won't make you emotionally depe…

I don't! I think women are amazing ☺ you clearly did not read what I wrote! Women should be respected enough not to be used as tools for asserting sexual prowess but instead be treated as something more worthwhile than that, ie, a lifelong partner, with whom you are willing to figure anything out with.

I think my mention of my husband (not to mention the many other strong men I know) who waited for marriage for sex, is sufficient to indicate I don't lump all of the male species into one box. All I meant was certain very driven young men without a greater purpose can turn to unhealthy obsessions, including insatiable sex, as a means of asserting dominance. I don't believe this has never been the case before, in fact history tells us of all kinds of sexual perversions and lasciviousness. It's ju…

I think that's a very crude measurement of a man's worth, as there is more to manhood than just sex. It's more a sign of our times where life is so comfortable young men pursue only sex and women to measure their dominance by.

This is so spot-on! I have been realizing exactly this the past while. Because submission is so rare, I have been thinking I am quite a notch above the rest, lol. But now that I have started a YouTube channel on being a submissive wife, I am discovering just how much more there is to this way of life (just simply by making a study of it and sharing what I am learning). I could be doing so much more, with so much more heart and freedom! It's a wonderful journey... https://www.youtube.com/channel/…

Yip, for a society rallying for total acceptance, it certainly is intolerant of doing something for anyone other than yourself. Everyone must believe the same thing (self love above all) or else you are attacked for holding any other value.

I think the real issue here, is he wants to be able to persuade you, change your mind on something he knows is important to you. That way, the two of you will become more one person, a stronger unit, and he will feel uber manly because you show him how powerful his influence is on the one he loves the most. Your opinion matters to him more than anyone else's, especially because you defer to him. He wants to take it one step further.
