I come from a very religious background where I was (as a closeted non-believer) under the same stress of accidentally saying the 'wrong' thing, or disagreeing too earnestly and offending people. It is surprising (and a bit sad for me) how much of that same extremist mentality and purity tests are common in the modern non-religious ideologies.

I get the feeling that "you have been rejected by all of humanity, this pathetic mockery of human interaction is your only solace". It is just very sad. I would recommend the movie HER which deals with similar subject.

no comment on the agency of the said young women to choose for themselves, however. It takes the 2 to agree for 'dating' to happen, yet they blame only one.

The Hunt (originally, Danish movie) about false accusation of rape. An underage student access the male day care worker being inappropriate with her out of jealousy and his life is ruined. He gets acquitted, but is a mental wreck after.

be man > show feelings and emotions: society doesn't care, things you're weark and calls u sissy or a loser and women don't think of you as a potential partner because u don't have ur shit together > don't show feelings and emotions: society thinks you're cold and uncaring and have no empathy or emotional depth and women think you might be secretly abusive and controlling or just not fun what even...

It is the foundation myth of modern women. It gives them an excuse to do whatever because they're exceptional. It puts their lives into perspective and gives them a purpose in life i.e. to become a strong independent woman.

TwoX is a hate sub, but that hate is legally sanctioned and socially acceptable so it is fine. Replace the word "men" with "black men" and see the fireworks....

Or just the same analogy but directed at immigrants from a certain religion... Basically it would be considered bad analogy in any case except when it is used to put down men.

responsibility is a part of manhood, which is why men shouldn’t have the right to paper abortion (another thing you can’t talk about on menslib) this is the kind of stuff that gives credence to "only Jobs with ACs" narrative. They seem to want to have their cake and eat it too.

No amount of pedantry can change the fact that there's no wholesale objectification here. Just using common place wisdom to illustrate a point.

I have said it before and I'll say it here again. To a radical feminist being a man IS the crime. You carry the sins of your fore-fathers and every wrong doing of patriarchy. It is like the thought process of a super racist person. To a racist, the problem is not crime stats, laziness, drugs, handouts or any other perceived concrete problem. It is the race that is the issue but since it is usually frowned upon they blame by proxy. You can be the nicest person ever, spend ur whole life avoiding t…

He made several posts about how there's a lot of expectations and responsibilites that are put on men (like in South Asia, they're responsible not only for their kids and wife but also their parents). His main gripe was that whenver some harassment / gender-based violence happens to women people do #AllMenAreTrash kind of stuff on social media. He said that so many men feel demoralised and misjudged / wrongly grouped with those sickos who commit those crimes. In short, men have the same expectat…

I read somewhere that for feminists being a man is inherently and fundamentally evil and there's is nothing a man could do about it (men's collective and historic fault for oppressing women, in their view). It is like a racist who hates people because of skin color. There's nothing a person being hated on by that racist can do anything about it.
