You should look up newer studies in altruism. Altruism significantly decreases when any social benefits are loss. There are still selfish people, but there are far more people who are only acting such for the benefits (though this is most often done subconsciously).

For one, work experience is always twisted. Say you and I both work 3 years at a job. But you put in 50 hours a week while I average 37. So while we both have 3 years of experience, you have gotten far more experience in those 3 years, can put more projects on your resume, and are all around the better candidate (assuming all was equal when we started).

The salary gap is actually less than 5% when you do the math correctly and evenly. When you account for every variable, including issues such as the risk of harm while at the job, then women make more than men for equal jobs with equal experience. The 5% gap is only if you account for some big issues such as experience and official over time, but it does not count harder to measure issues such as the risk of death or how harsh the job is to the body.

There really is one. Among young college educated individuals, women are now paid more once you control for all variables (well all that you can control for). They seem fair, and if we treated men and women as fully identical equals in a relationship, they would be fair. The problem is that men and women want different things from relationships. Once you dig into this, you'll see that saying 'you aren't entitled to sex' does become biased. It is similar to those who support ending alimony once women have to start paying their fair share.
