I agree. Elam, and People like Karen Straughan are the wedge that created the opening for Warren Farrel, and other thinkers that have been at this for so long. I probably would have never heard about these concepts if it wasn't for them.

If it went down as stated (a big if), then the response was not reasonable. They could have killed the guy, or done irreparable damage to his balls. If a woman attacks a man, it is reasonable for him to use proportional force to defend himself. These girls was just pissed, and had an advantage in numbers and training, and they knew it. They went beyond the reasonable into the criminal.

I think the fact that they are going on the attack is an indication of the increasing profile of the mhrm. For many years it was safe for them to ignore mens issues, and the people/groups discussing them. That doesn't seem to be true anymore. Every mainstream article bashing the mrm brings more people to the movement. Let them keep talking about us, lies can't stand up to the truth in the long run.

All groups of human throughout history have behaved badly, as is evident to anyone who has taken even a cursory look at history. My point wasn't that Europeans were any worse than anyone else, but that much of ours was fairly recent, and people are either intentionally ignoring, or shamefully ignorant of history use that fact to bludgeon any "white cis scum" who dares to disagree with them.

Warren Farrell and other mens' rights activist have been politely pointing out issues in a respectful manner for 35 or 40 years, and they were ignored. Not even a real blip on the radar. It would be nice if respectfully stating facts, and gently pointing out inconsistencies worked, but it doesn't. What the mrm is doing now is working, so I say let the activist do what they do. If it stops working, then it will be time for a change.

Would you expect that a movie about war, or prison should have a 50% female cast. How many men are shown in states of partial undress? It seems to me that those in MGTOW community shine a light on a side of Female nature that is uncomfortable to look at (as do those in the MHRM), and despite Feminists and Society in general having mercilessly done the same to men for at least the last 40 years, they don't like it. My perception is that a number of youtube mgtow are more separatist than your average mra, but in general I think that mras' appreciate women that contribute to the cause. It seems to me that any woman who gives a hint of any traditionalist tendencies is treated with more skepticism, and I think that skepticism is justified.

Even a small minority is too many. I doubt any decent, reasonable person would say that the court system should believe the victim despite any evidence, or lack thereof. I have read through several pages of stats from the links. I am not sure how he defines "Disputed custody cases", but the stats on the linked page show that when it goes to "Evaluation or trial" the following occurs Sole Possession to Mother 44% Sole Possession to Father 11% Joint Possession 40% Other 5% I have not found a breakdown where it separates trial from evaluation yet.
