The Met Gala thing is so absurd - that event was raising money for a fucking costume museum.. These rich fucks would rather give their $$$ to mannequins lmao. Just so tasteless.

This advice is so fucking bad. Women like plausible deniability - if you want to hook up, your invite needs to be vague but still imply - that’s why people say “wanna come back to my place?” instead. It’s why the whole “Netflix and chill” phrase was invented before it got overused. Texting her “I want to hook up” will give her the ick. It’s way too direct/blunt. Women don’t like when it’s phrased like that as it makes them appear too easy in their minds. You have to be somewhat indirect about it…

Women aren’t saying/posting this bear vs guy because they believe it, women are posting this trend because they know it triggers men. The whole appeal is to get a rise out of men. They don’t actually believe in what they’re saying, they just want to see all the men short-circuit over it.

It’s not that women PREFER poly relationships per say, it’s moreso that they’d rather be in a “situationship” with a really hot guy than be in an exclusive relationship with their looksmatch
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/24 09:15 PM

These women mistake “butterflies” “the spark” for feeling on edge and feeling uneasy about the guys hot/cold behavior. Perhaps they also subconsciously feel “below” the man which makes them see the guy as being “above” them - whereas in a normal, healthy relationship they’re both on equal footing which isn’t as “exciting” They want to “work” for his validation whereas they just get it in a healthy, normal relationship. They equate having to work for validation as exciting whereas if if it’s just…

Nah, I agree with OP - I’ve had people will hit me with ad-Homs and call me misogynistic for linking the study.

You guys keep saying it’s “bare minimum” in one breath and then saying “why can’t I find any guys who are actually genuine?!?!” in the next lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 12:19 AM

The difference is the women often have a much larger pool to choose from and still willingingly pick those types of guys

I think a lot of men are just desperate for female attention. I think they do have self awareness but they’re in a desert so they’ll take anything they can get because the options are so few and far between

Wow, okay, Yikes sweaty! Let’s unpack this.. OP needs to be ✨ listening and learning ✨ Who hurt him? He must have fucked around and found out! Oh sweet summer child.. I’ve lost all faith in humanity. But you ma’am win the internets for today, take my Reddit gold kind stranger!

They never saw you as a dating prospect so that never crossed their mind until you make it obvious that’s all you wanted. They did though - many of these women are ones I’ve matched with on online dating so the sub-context of dating is already there.

There’s nothing wrong with maintaining a friendship with someone new. It’s painful to stick around in the same way it’s painful for women to stick around vague situationships where the guy doesn’t want to commit. I don’t want to watch on the sidelines as the girl I like puts her effort into a new guy. I’ve been in that situation before and it’s not really a friendship. It’s so one-sided in the sense that I’m the only one who is initiating while she puts all her attention into a new guy. I’ll be …

My kindness often gets mistaken as disingenuous the moment I put my foot down about something or stand up for myself though..

Women will often conflate a man wanting a relationship with a man only wanting sex - it’s an easy reductionist worldview to construct. I’ve had multiple women freak out on me that I stopped talking to them because it was clear that an exclusive relationship was not going to come to fruition. But in their minds I only dropped them because “I wasn’t going to get sex” - they feel as if they are still entitled to your friendship for some reason.

Being nice to a stranger should be the norm But don’t a lot of women say “it’s impossible to find a good guy”? You can’t say being nice is just everyone’s baseline behavior/the bare minimum while also complaining about there not being any good men out there, it doesn’t make any sense - if that is the case than being kind/nice is more rare than people make it out to be - people being kind would be doing above the “bare minimum”.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 05:45 AM

What happens when you’re genuinely kind but get written off as a “nice guy” within the span of one date? What’s the point in being kind if people are so jaded that they automatically assume you have ulterior motives? Women can wright you off so quickly due to the overwhelming amount of matches they get so someone who is kind can never actually prove that they’re genuine because they keep getting written off right out of the gate.

Funny how that kind of situation is always looked at like the man was shitty and not the other way around

Lol no?? The men who are the worst are the ones who know how to confidently navigate social situations in order to manipulate people to get what they want. The worst ones are the ones who are very socially aware..

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
