But fair enough, if we're being literal about it - Another key difference is that the perpetrator, Person-B has already ADMITTED to the crime, which Person-A did not for a very long time, even after victims stepped forward. And even after several victims stepped forward it was Person-A's eventual admission of guilt that got them imprisoned. Person-A broke the law in a very similar way and we all agreed locking them away was the best course of action.
