If she's pregnant, and when she tells her parents, if they lose their shit, I guarantee that she'll drop the "he raped me" card...

Obvious issues aside, get out of CDI. They are a for profit college and they aren't accredited (at least in Canada). All I got from them was a bullshit piece of paper and a ton of student debt.

ya but how many instances where facts are similar to this, and the dad DOES take the kid away from mom, only to have his face put out in an Amber Alert and then get arrested for Parental Abduction?

if it was my group, i would openly say that i don't like how toxic the group has become because of whatever reason, then openly state that I am leaving and starting my own club where the same behaviors would not be tolerated and that whoever wanted to join could, so long as they were willing to follow whatever rules I set down... but thats me

One thing I can see happening once someone successfully defends himself using proof of consent is that the feminists will then start saying that consent was given under duress... and then we go down the slippery slope again

Just ffm section on the Craigslist personals... or basically any other online dating site. As for the other side of the spectrum, just look at everyday life...

thank you for your comment. I come to this sub to feel better about being a man. Not to leave pissed off worrying about having to deal with these crazy "people".

I love the idea, but here's the problem. We all know that scorned women have a tendency to lie/fudge details, leave out important facts, etc. Case and point: I am going through a custody battle. I had a social worker disclose to me that there is an open CAS file on the man my son lives with for assaulting my son. I have yet to be contacted Children's Aid. I have known for about a month and we have joint custody. Purely speculation, but with her history with lying to authorities, I can only wonde…

Managed to find this: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/act/consol_act/ca190082/s396.html Can anyone confirm whether this is actually from the Australian Criminal Code?

in canada, anyone causing an officer to enter into or continue an investigation based on a lie, is guilty of public mischief... Sectio 150 of the criminal code. the drawback is the crown refuses to charge women when rape/sexual assault/dv claims turn out to be false

this. You don't have a current court order, and thus, you can not be accused of kidnapping (well she can try, and the cops can (and probably will) try to talk you into returning your daughter. I'd stand your ground. Take her back to Georgia (or wherever else you want to go), and start court proceedings before she does. I don't know how it works stateside, but here (in Ontario, Canada), the police can NOT take any action unless A) there is a court order allowing them to intervene, or B) if they h…

I'll tell you exactly why: She drank the ex's kool aid. And she must continue to drink the kool aid if she wants to continue seeing her granddaughter.

Here's my stance. I pay (well family does, but you get the idea) my lawyer to talk for me in court. So I'm going to let him do what he's paid to do.

A big problem with this system is that the people that are making these decisions will not be affected by the decisions they make.

The system takes the support off my paycheck before I even see it. I prefer it that way, because then see can't claim that I don't pay (which she already has, before they got involved). At one point, they were taking 50% of my paycheck because she told them that I hadn't paid a dime. I contacted the office responsible and told them that I had paid. They smugly told me "Prove it". So I sent the bank records showing a regular amount of money getting sent to her every 2 weeks from the time he was b…

It is legal, and in my case, I feel totally justified. Especially when the posse (there's 3 + kids) she brings during the exchange, I feel like I have to. Especially since I'm outnumbered, because I only bring 1 person as thats how many extra seats I have in my car.

Ya, where I live, a conversation can be privately recorded as long as at least 1 party involved in the conversation is aware that it is being recorded. 4 weeks ago, I decided to record it with my phone. I had the police called on me. The cop told me that it was not a good idea to record and requested to refrain from doing so as it inflamed the situation. As she had made MANY accusations against me in the past, I told him that it wasn't going to happen, as well as the fact that I was on public pr…

One thing that infuriates me about the family court system is the fact that there is an office of the government whose sole purpose is to force support payers to pay through various means. And yet, where is the office that forces the parent that the child lives with to give access?

Not very. I'm pretty far in over my head in debt for my lawyer that a member in my family has been gracious enough to loan me, and I'm trying to pay that down as quick as I can. But it seems that for every $1000 I pay down, another $5000 gets added on.

Totally reminds me of the "No concealed weapons inside the store" sign in some places stateside. Being from Canada, it blows my mind that they would actually have a sign for that.

i would arrested the cunt on the spot for the assault. not sure where you're from, but here, that is an indictable (felony) offense, and a citizens arrest can be enacted. And since you're on duty, it should be in your notebook, which will help the crown (or DA) get a conviction. my $.02

Agreed. You need to be going for A's jugular, because the you can be damned sure the police/law enforcement will be going after your husbands. Just wait until they try getting you to slip up somewhere to incriminate him to show "history". As much as I fucking hate to admit this, at this point in time, your husband is guilty until proven innocent, and even then, it may still not be enough.

When I was in elementary school in the 90's: * no rough-housing * no contact of any kind * drawstrings had to be removed from hoodies (they could of gotten caught on the jungle gym and choked us) * no toboggans/krazy karpets/sleds * no playing on the snow hills made from the parking lots * at my school, someone threw a ball and hit someone (we were playing red ass, i believe)... no more balls after that... * I'm sure there's more, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

If I wasn't sure that I was the father, I would with hold child support until a DNA test is done. And I would make her pay for it. It is her making the allegation that it is your baby, so the onus to prove it should be on her. My brother did that to his ex. After 6 months of her begging him to pay for the test (after he made it very clear that he wouldn't give her a dime until he had a DNA test confirming paternity), she finally got the money together and got the test done. Turned out, it wasn't…

Another aspect to be taken into consideration is reactions from the local PD. A lot of departments carry the old world mentality that you can deal with it. It happened to me. My ex (a female) was charged with DV and pull out the crocodile tears and charges were dropped due to 'lack of evidence'. We got back together and thats when the abuse really took off. I was hit with a shovel (she blamed it on hormones after recently having a child), I called the cops, they came by, took a report and statem…
