I'm not bragging for personal validation, I'm bragging because I know it upsets men like you and that makes me happy ☺️ just so funny

Totally agree. I can get dates, sex and relationships from most people I'm interested in, so whilst I'm not a model I would rate myself as "hot enough" in that it doesn't hold me back/helps me out.

Ahahahhha. I'm not that gullible!

Thank you. Hope fretting online gets you closer to meaningful human connection!

I'll have to prioritise my privacy over that morsel of validation unfortunately.

Just got back onto online dating and already got a couple dates lining up. It's actually so nice being a hot woman. See you all in hell!

Hahaha. Love that there's still men that this upsets.

When america has abortion rights for all then they can start passing divvy laws like this.

I think the premise of the question is too simplistic.

Some mens looks age better than others as well. Some men are average simply because they're plain, and for them ageing won't improve anything because they haven't got enough character in their face. Whether or not plainess can be overcome idk.

This isn't what "feminism" is doing. I don't think you actually have any idea of how women speak to each other or reflect on their experiences. Women on here are slammed for overly focusing on who they select as a mate! Can't have it both ways. And a lot of healing from poor relationships is doing that kind of reflecting. It's a little odd to assume that because you, some random Internet man, isn't informed of that it isn't happening. I completely know that men have conversations I'm not a part …

OK but if your kid ends up a smackhead I will need to be refunded by you.

Yup. They seem to think that a life of wine, cats, lesbianism and shagging hot emotionally unavailable men is a bad outcome. Like, that's what I'm aiming for.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/24 01:48 PM

Yep. I've glowed up and actually want to stay single now. Realising a monogamous relationship with a straight man is the last thing I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/24 01:46 PM
2

I do go after who I want, the problem for men in these spaces is they aren't the men for whom anyones doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 11:49 AM

This isn't dating advice for getting a man that I personally would want to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 03:04 PM

I've noticed that. As I understand they do not learn to read and write joined up handwriting. I feel I would be significantly less literate if I couldn't do those things. Americans feel free to correct or clarify this.

If technology can provide toys to keep men who can't attract partners occupied then that's fine with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 03:01 PM

It's crazy how much dating cultures actually seem to vary so much. Your experiences don't at all map onto where I am so perhaps you need consider this as an issue within your own culture, rather than an essentialist trait of women.

Younger men are more attractive but that's uncomfortable for late bloomers who hope for a middle aged renaissance.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 02:54 PM

A lot of the men here go to the gym, have a job, bland personality and a hidden nasty streak. Anything you suggest will be twisted because they don't want to accept that this is simply how humans operate. You attract a partner, or partners, or you don't. It must really suck if you can't but you can't help someone who won't help themself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 02:52 PM

Your issue is you're looking at women as a group, trying to find one truth. Every person is different and you have to accept that every interaction and relationship is unique. The big picture stuff is relevant if you are looking at science for sure, but there is no evidence AFAIK that that would have a benefit for interpersonal relationships and goals I.e. in this case sex. I've gone over something similar to this with a friend recently and we realised that he'd said some stuff that was a bit mi…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 03:01 PM

"In all my 18 years of living" nooo please don't think you've seen it all at such a young age. You've seen nothing yet, good and bad! All to play for. People will surprise and you will surprise yourself. When people decide they've got it all figured out that's when they stop being able to live with any meaning (imo maybe you'll develop a different perspective).
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 02:57 PM
2

There's a grain of truth there though. Some people are so desperate for a relationship that it puts people off. If you're someone who hears this a lot then that's what people are telling you, but they're trying to soften it because they think you've got low self esteem or a hot temper.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:12 AM
6

Not telling anyone to lower their standards. But there's a lot of men on here who've ruled themselves out of dating because they have higher standards than they can attract. Of course this sub mostly focuses on women's overly high standards because this is easier for sexless men to discuss.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:10 AM

You probably were nicer to be around. People are nice to nice people.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:07 AM

No the point is the fear and discomfort that comes from that imbalance. Whilst most rape does not come from physical overpowering someone, the size imbalance certainly contributes to why someone may freeze etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:05 AM
2

So you're saying there's no way for a straight man to enjoy engaging in a conversation with a gay man?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:04 AM

Just because you don't give a fuck about women doesn't mean their loneliness is a non issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:03 AM

Women don't get 99% of resources. Men are the privileged ones and the ones who are struggling to live in the world of their making.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:02 AM

Considering how much men on here talk about "don't stick your dick in crazy" or talk about BPD I disagree. Womens neurodivergence is often misdiagnosed as BPD or other conditions which attract stigma. Women's neurodivergnce has received less research then men's. There's an entire epidemic of neurodivergent women who are struggling who are just invisible to you, and society.

What evidences that assumption?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 11:12 AM

Why are you now obsessed with reproducing this on any comment discussing sexyal violence against women? I wouldn't do that to men and its absolutely disgusting to try and pit survivors against one another to support your radicalised male supremacy mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 11:11 AM

This very post is trying to make men's problems more important than women's.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 11:10 AM

You're assuming all those men are raped by women. Clearly a lot of those men are raped by other men. Regardless however we are discussing the fear of rape, so your point has nothing to do with the point. You say women don't understand, but really all this shows surely is that men cannot, or refuse, to understand why women are scared of men approaching them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 08:14 AM
12

My sexual orientation does not mean that I am happier for men to approach me. It is a good analogy as the fear and disgust are similar.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/23 08:46 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/23 03:08 PM

That's like saying there's no preference for taller guys cus some short men are in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 06:17 PM

And yet men give advice on how to be a better woman all day.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 04:33 PM

Women get criticised elsewhere as well clearly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 04:32 PM
1

Guys, being the more innocent and romantic What a weird thing to write about your own gender, or any. Anyway you've misunderstood my simple statement. We were friends a long time, I fancied him a bit and suggested one on one time. He kinda fobbed me off then a year or two later was clear he fancied me but still didn't make a proper move and I've moved on.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 04:32 PM
1

Thats such a leap, don't put words in my mouth. I'm saying most people have "genetic requirements", but you only criticise women's as unnatural. If a woman is not sexually or romantically attracted to a man because of a genetic reason that is just as valid as a straight man only wanting to have sex with cis women. You can't force yourself to be attracted when you're not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:23 PM

Should've made the move back in the day, I've moved on.

Why does fat women having sex make you the victim?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:19 PM
1

Nah women get it all the time about our preferences. See this thread.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:17 PM
1

Why are some requirements OK and others not? For example, men who will only have sex with a cis woman with a vagina. That's a genetic issue as much as height is.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:17 PM
1

The point is men like you assume that the good looking and charming guy is inherently more "evil" than the average sexless. This is always evidenced by nothing more than tenuous anecdote.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:04 PM

Either women have high standards and they get criticised, or they have lower standards and get criticised. I'm not in favour of listing requirements in bios, but I think the idea that older women need to know their place in the dating hierarchy simply isn't for you to decide. It's up to older women to decide how to go about their dating business.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:03 PM

OP is literally afraid. There's the phobia. And it's regarding trans people. Of course it's transphobic to be afraid of trans people. That's a non sequitur.

Your back must be agony lumbering around that victim mentality all day.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:03 AM

Well I too could bonk someone over the head if I got frustrated that I didn't get my way. But I don't give myself an asspat for it and ask what everyone else is doing to keep up with my virtue.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 09:01 AM

I get it in that being an ugly man who can't get sex or relationships can't be very pleasant. However the overall ideology is harmful, for both society and the men who participate.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 08:03 AM

I've never seen an unattractive woman say she's entitled to that. She may want it. But your original comment seemed to be upset that unattractive women can find "provider partners' which seems to just be average man with average job. Presumably these women also have average jobs. So you're just... mad some women you don't fancy have boyfriends and call that entitlement.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 08:02 AM

Young good looking guys who live in houseshares don't seem to struggle with this.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 08:00 AM
1

Yes, because men are more violent.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 07:59 AM

"Egg culture" you're so wrong on this. Egg is just a term for trans person that's just coming out. If you go to trans spaces and ask "am i trans" of course there'll be affirmative comments. Worrying that "transgenderism" are causing damage to society is transphobia. You are quite literally afraid of trans people affecting society.

If fat women start going on shooting sprees, threatening to kill ourselves and electing out of working will we get the asspats that men do, or will we need to work twice as hard 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:46 PM
1

Look at that bias, a woman discusses something on a debate sub and you had to characterise it as circle jerking or whining. Debate the ideas or don't but you don't need to be a spanner about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:44 PM

Not gendered in general, but on here yes it is.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:01 PM

Of course I am. No ones objective when it comes to this shit. To answer your question I am a bit fat yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:35 PM

Yep, and LTR as well probably. There's a lot of men here who make out they're a total catch because they're not fat and in full time employment, as though anyone is turned on by that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:17 PM
1

Yep, when their preferences are just being spiteful. You have to wonder if the reason they're so unhappy is because of their personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:16 PM
1

I'm talking about on here. There's people saying whatever anywhere. I'm sure most people would exclude me. I'm talking about the language used.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:16 PM
1

So?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:15 PM
1

Why do you think that's important?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 05:15 PM

I don't care how other people choose to filter people for dating.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:54 PM

So many men on here happy to use the term landwhale whilst simultaneously clapping their little cheeks over women having their own standards. The hypocrisy is fucking outstanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:52 PM
1

Nah not at all. Men's mental health has been weaponised so hard that it's making their mental health worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:40 PM
1

Men aren't entitled to conversations, resources or attention either.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:40 PM
4

So what if you can do something about your weight? I prefer taller men. As a short fat woman, I don't struggle to get them. I don't ask anyone their height mind. It's not a double standard it's called attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:00 PM
1

I've never heard an unattractive woman say they're entitled to a provider. Your evidence is just that some of them have partners. That's not evidence. You're just foaming at the mouth that they're getting what they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 02:53 PM
1

I'm sure there's a few younger women who are impressed by a middle manager salary. Think more are impressed by compatible lifestyles and good looks though.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 02:52 PM

Well if I was wrong then you'd see a lot more young women dating older men.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:35 AM

What's your evidence for this entitlement? Because the unattractive women you know have partners? What are you actually trying to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:34 AM
1

On the forehead is fine. I'm south asian and don't eat meat is why. And no, my friends wouldn't talk about height in that way. They would praise a guy for being tall, but wouldn't denigrate one for being short. Besides i wouldn't say 5'8" is short. It's a pretty neutral height.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:29 AM
2

I don't think that's what younger women get frustrated at with men their own age, more indecision and emotional immaturity but that's a negative to younger men, not really a plus to older men. Again, it makes sense why older men like younger women, but it also makes sense that the vast majority of younger women see little to zero value in older men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:27 AM
1

What a jump to "virtue signalling bullies" from asking why people are here. But I suppose you got your little thrill sending it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 10:36 PM
1

Urgh I think it's gross when people kiss animals tbh. The rest is fine with me. I don't know what pigeon toed walking looks like. But I don't have some strong feeling about it one way or the other. South asian and vegan are bonuses. Height is fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 10:32 PM
1

What evidence do you have to say that this is the case whereas it isn't for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 10:30 PM

Misogynistic men can't be feminists.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 05:22 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 05:21 PM

Men's advice to me is to serve men's interests. Men's advice to women is to also serve men's interests. Do you see the problem now?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:45 PM
1

No it really isn't. Can't tell if you're lying or really believe that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:44 PM
-10

So? Women are allowed to like handsome men ffs. Why do you feel the need to put down women's sexuality like that. Fucking hell men it's fine for you to like women and handwring about it, but heaven forbid a woman like a handsome fella.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:44 PM
1

No you're not you're a man, and from your comments a misogynistic one at that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:43 PM

Yep, and they've never put themselves in a woman's shoe. Any "advice" for women is basically ways to be nicer to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:32 PM
1

Feminists aren't even saying this. Can't debate us on the facts so you have to make up shit and then get mad.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:32 PM
7

Urgh, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:29 PM
-4

Women who claim that they like "shy guys" are almost universally speaking of tall, dark, and handsome guys with a lot of mystique who only make up a small % of introverts and shy guys out there. Oh yeah, they have to be handsome. Why would I want to date a shy and ugly guy ffs.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:28 PM
1

The laziness of the assumptions in this post really lie in this really arbitrary dichotomy. I like guys who are a bit shy but go out and do stuff. Not to "spice up my mundane life" but because that's my existing lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:27 PM
1

Which data are you talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 12:54 PM

For example, being asked if something is OK and saying it is but actually being annoyed.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 12:53 PM

I don't think my standards on this are particularly gendered. I categorise people who take their insecurity out on others or who can't ask for the things they want without acting out about it as being emotionally weak, but perhaps that's because those are things I've tried to actively learn to be good at myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 11:15 AM
1

That wasn't the impression I got from your comment. If you're saying people in monogamous relationships shouldn't be flirting with people on social media i agree. If you're saying respectable women shouldn't use social media then I disagree. I suspect you're somewhere in between the two though.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 11:13 AM
1

For me that's the litmus test of how I feel about an age gap relationship. If the couple got together because there was a vibe and they didn't midnight the gap that's so fine. Whereas if there's a "young women are tight and deserve my money therefore" its just gross af. You're free to do it, but people are also free to think you're pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 11:03 AM
1

I don't love having social media but it's a useful way of keeping up to date with stuff that's going on irl. I'm not particularly active however despite this I would absolutely not date someone with this attitude. It's possessive and needy and boorish.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 10:39 AM

It's not that I don't think sex is unimportant, but the topic is weaponised and I think a lot of the discourse online is really unhelpful.

I can't blame her. If you're a single young woman whose struggling to find a partner, having an online friend say "just marry for me. I want someone and we know each other" just isn't something you're going to seriously consider.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 09:48 PM

True. Some people face obstacles too great to live the lives they want, I'm not trying to sugarcoat that, np pun intended.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 09:37 PM

I just think it might be one of those things incels say to upset one another. I'm super candid with my girlfriends about this stuff and 1) no one looks down on anyone dating shorter guys even if they themselves prefer taller guys 2) tall is probably 5'10 and above. I'd be a bit terrified to date 6'6" man tbh because I think that's as long as my bed is so I don't know where I'd put him.

See I disagree because in life we are the ones who choose what is the task at hand. Don't try and cook French cuisine if that's what you have. Play to your strengths and choose your own path.

Nowadays I hear that 6'1" is "basically average" and guys claim to be 6'1" manlets. Is this actually being said though? I've only seen it reported on here. The last guy I dated was 6 foot and i consider that tall. I am a 'womanlet' though.

I think it's more, you get given a set of ingredients. Those ingredients are not fair, some people get a cohesive set of quality ingredients, some people get a Mars bar and a pack of noodles. You then need to cook those ingredients though, I.e. you make the choices in life which shape your reality and thus yourself in turn.

It's mad to me that so many guys on here seem to think the only options are OLD or street approaching.

If they check if something was OK I am enthusiastic about it, and I often check their consent too.

I've never asked a man his height on tinder so assuming he simply lied about it and I noticed I guessed I'd ask him about it. If the answer was anything along the lines of weeding people out I'd bounce.

There's a side of it that's unfair, and there's a side of it that's your own attitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 10:18 AM

This fucking sucks man. I think once you get to a certain point with some problems the length of time that the problem has existed is the only reason it continues to exist. That's a difficult problem to resolve. I will say that you seem very wound up and upset, and that's completely understandable, but your desperate need to be in a relationship twenty years ago/now is only going to hinder unfortunately. I do think that investing in your local community e.g. volunteering etc if you don't already…

He's a drama llama.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:29 PM

Does that mean it's also a problem when men set up their friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:27 PM

Ironically that viewpoint would lead to not being able to deal with that situation. If someone's sex drive goes down at some point, as will inevitably happen in longer term relationships, there needs to be trust and communication between both partners. Blaming one partner isn't going to make them magically want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:22 PM
5

People are switching up the narrative all over again it seems. Because people isn't a coherent group. People on here have differing viewpoints, it's a debate sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 09:34 PM

This reads like it an Instagram motivational meme.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:54 PM

I imagine for a lot of couples, if one of them is pissed off at the other one it's going to put a lot of pressure on them. You say wanting sex doesn't make someone a bad partner, but I don't see how not wanting sex makes someone a bad partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:52 PM

You don't logic your way into attraction. What I do and don't find attractive does not need to be fair, same as it is for anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:34 AM

Of course they do. In terms of body it does depend, I like guys who are skinny but strong, and I've got friends who prefer guys who are more stocky.

"The wall" is incels lying to themselves, that although they did miss out on having sex when their female peers were 15 🤮 that its fine because all women their age are disgusting now they're all 24. It's obviously misogynistic af, and I hope that they just continue to self segregate like that cus i don't wanna even sit next to one on the bus tbh.

I mean you'd be welcome to open a men's only gym. I don't have an issue with that. I'm sure most cities with a high number of gym goers could support a specialised gym like that. I myself would much rather have a women only gym to go to.

For eye contact you can always look near but not in the eye, like the eyebrows. I learnt that as a kid and people think I'm gonna at eye contact but I'm usually looking at the eyebrow, or super focusing on a tiny detail in their eye.

It's honestly really good practice for me for reading and writing. There's some proper fucking idiots on here as well who need the absolute bleeding obvious spelt out for them. I myself am somewhat of a spanner who needs some things spelt out too.

Sorry but you're deluding yourself if you think your lack of dating success is you don't like drama. I definitely like men that aren't boring by which I mean; they're funny and find me funny, we can spend a few hours chatting about anything and everything and that's fun; they're interested in the world; they get up to cool shit and they're down to do different things. Kept this deliberately generic because the specifics of cool shit is gonna vary depending what area/scene/vibe you're into.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:35 AM

Women do hit on men. They're just not hitting on you and your friends. Women act in their self interest. Their self interest is not hitting on mediocre men they're not actually attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:31 AM

Sometimes you meet men who meet all the technicalities of what a man should be like but he's just a bit nothingy. You can't self improve out of a lacklustre personality. And just for context, I'm early 30s so the time when men are supposed to start getting more desirable has not happened at all. Just a very weird lie men tell themselves tbh.

Fair enough, that was a bit rude of me sorry.

Its why women aren't allowed to have preferences, because men's preferences are only be thin and wear a little make up.

I agree that it's in incorrect, i don't believe my point is at all misandrist as it's a common view on here. Just look at the comments to this thread. In general though it's not how men I know behave at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:28 PM

In what way is that fair? There were a couple of chores that took my ex quite literally 4, 5 times as long to do as me, so I'd usually just do them (like hanging clothes to dry). When thinking about division of chores, I did not think about it in terms of how long it would have taken him, only how long it took me.

I don't believe im an expert on men's inner worlds and I don't know how I've led you to believe as such.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:21 PM
1

No, because there's a hell of a lot more bits and pieces that men don't even realise. Skincare for example has become a very technological area that women are just expected to know. Same with hair removal, style etc. You say just thin and wear make up but there's a lot of women who could meet that and not be considered comventially attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:20 PM

I've just discovered dermaplaning and it's changed the game for me. There's so much more than "eat lettuce wear lipstick".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:19 PM

Then everyone is. Any celebrity you see aka the beauty standard, has a hella lot more faffing going on than I bother with. Your comment is so unnecessary though, instead of actually debating my ideas you resort to base sneer.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:17 PM

So I half joked that a heavy bag was full of my hair products, and when we sat down he said OK let me see this hair that needs so much product... OK your hair is fantastic". And we both laughed and then we had a really good chat. It was light hearted and not serious and yes he was much older than me. Weirdly much older guys having friendly banter like that is often less uncomfortable because you know they're not actually hitting on you so you don't need to beware escalation.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:16 PM

Er, OK Mary Whitehouse!
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:13 PM
6

Anytime a man on here says women just have to be thin and learn to put on makeup just don't sound to me like they know much about womens inner world. There's a lot more intricacy to female grooming, if you're unaware then maybe don't assume that's all it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:12 PM
1

Pity men were never grateful for it then.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:10 PM

Yes but that's conflating labour with services rendered, which doesn't apply to a domestic situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:09 PM
1

Yeah I agree but he did say my hair is incredible so it got mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:07 PM

Yes of course she gets to leave? Anyone is allowed to leave their partner, especially if they begin coercing them into sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 07:42 PM

So all he did was just keep shoving his dick in his unhappy wife, and you are asking what she did to fix the problem? She did the sensible thing and dumped him. Problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 07:05 PM
1

For a taxi driver I suppose just being polite and getting where you need to. This guy helped me with my stuff, made a silly compliment in a non creepy way, we had good chats etc. I don't think that stuff is only because of looks, but I don't think looks are irrelevant so it's hard to say what the base level is in a way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 07:04 PM
2

It's not changing the subject, it's refuting the assumptions within it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 07:03 PM

Yeah because once someone has fucked up like that it's going to be really hard to come back from that. He poisoned their marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:53 PM

Did we even read the first point? She felt pressured into sex with her first husband, so of course she didn't desire sex with him. Something similar happened to me with an ex. Whereas a partner who is consistent about needing enthusiastic consent from you is just better. More attractive, better sexual and emotional connection etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:52 PM

I was imagining cold approach, but yeah even more so if you know them. A crazy amount of cold approaches I've experienced have included behaviour I don't think is OK so they just ping up my survival instinct now. Would rather be rude then dead.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:43 PM

Unattractive men can hit on me if they want, I'll be polite up to a point. It's not being offended at the idea they thought I might be into them it's the behaviour around it that's the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:31 PM

Crazy day, the bartender gave me my drink on the house, the food guy upgraded my food for free and I had to get a taxi and the driver was so helpful and lovely. Either a lot of people are nice or I'm hot which is a win win I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:07 PM

Get hobbies, meet friends of friends, be a part of your local community. My long term relationships for the most part were all from those.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:05 PM

This sort of thinking would surely permit saying "if you were really attracted to me you'd give me my way". Real relationships don't work like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:04 PM

I've heard women do this more than men This statement invited it.

I know right. I don't date single parents because I'm not interested in being a step parent, but i have nothing against them as people and doubtless there's a lot of them that I'd be very lucky to date. Some people are so mad at strangers for doing things that make them less fuckable in their eyes.

Starting a relationship in this day and age should mean entering into an equal partnership, so the analogy of the union does not work. As well, a woman is, in the case of monogamous relationships, only with one man. She does not have simultaneous relationships with multiple men necessitating their needs to collectivise. You've said all that as well as though men don't also have "baggage". I think it is better to use more neutral language here anyway, I think life experiences is better. You have …

I'm not scared of all men, but the kinds of men who freak out about this stuff are a red flag to me. Guys who are more at ease with respecting boundaries are less of a risk, and more attractive to me.

And yet when a woman is single the assumption is round here its her fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 06:56 PM

They're giving advice because they assume you want to do something about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:37 PM

No you find it harder to understand what they're saying. Assuming it's all women who can't do this is simply less likely than you being unable to understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 02:28 PM

It's the cross cutting of romantic and sexual attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 02:27 PM

They can advocate for a greater chance, but doesn't mean they'll get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 08:41 PM

It depends. I know super cool guys who are into anime and video games but they dress well have social lives, are self deprecating etc. I think those plastic figurines are utter tat though.

Sometimes my men friends help me move stuff or buy me drinks, but so do my women friends, and I to them. I don't think what you've observed is universal and eternal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 06:16 PM

It's definitely a red flag. It shouldn't necessarily be, and yet it is. There's no dateable man doing this, other than when a golden opportunity swings around.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 11:00 PM

Do most women call themselves goddesses and queens? Either way, alpha male is a hierarchical categorisation, and goddess and queen are more terms of endearment.

No at all. I date ND guys happily. BUT. They gotta be hot.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 10:55 PM

Different people have different preferences. I shave my legs for dates or big events, but never my armpits. I don't get any complaints and a guy who was put off by it wouldn't be a good match for me. What's so complicated about that for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 08:32 AM

Nah, I prefer bisexual men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 10:11 PM

I'm a woman and I agree with this tbh. I'm short, chubby, muscular and Asian. If I was a man I'd definitely struggle but as a woman I'm considered attractive enough to get relationships with people I like.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 04:47 PM

For sure. I try to keep my mind and heart open to the world, whilst striving to take care of myself and build a life for myself on my own.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 04:41 PM

This isn't what anyone's been saying. I'm friends with straight men. We have shared interests, lifestyles, outlooks and temperaments. We are neither friends despite or because of our genders. If someone doesn't want that sort of relationship then fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 08:38 AM

I like astrology and I don't know anyone whose into it where they wouldn't date someone with a certain sign. I think it's a fun way of discussing life and personalities, and the way it relates to mythology and archetypes. If a man doesn't want to date me because I'm into it that's fine with me because I'm only attracted to men who are open minded, easy going and interested in women's hobbies.

Some perhaps but I don't think girls are exclusively socialised to be delicate flowers. Girls are definitely socialised to play nice, smoothe everything over, take the smallest piece, learn to carry the mental load, read people's emotions, help them when they're sick, be good at cleaning, don't make a fuss etc. In terms of the crying thing though like yeah you definitely should be prepared to see your partner cry? I saw all my exes cry multiple times, didn't change how I felt about them at all.

Sure no one is better than anyone else, although I think the manosphere is full of men who say women are less good then men. There's an assumption that women don't need relationships because they get validation elsewhere. I guess the thinking that frustrates me is that a woman choosing not to have relationships, or to date "mediocre" men is taking something away from a man who will now end up not in a relationship. And I can see that to some extent, just mathematically speaking. I don't think I'…

But why should women settle though? Men say they want to be ultimately desired fully by their women partners. So women should have that devotion just at a drop of a hat? Isn't this just beta bucks anyway? Women are just damned whatever we do around here. I've not had a long term relationship for a few years and my mum asked me if I was being too picky. I said well my one rule for a relationship is we both need to want it. If its not there it's not there. Being single can suck but being in a wron…

I went to a conference which had one speaker who'd been released after doing about twenty years, but had been found innocent. He was specifically talking about UK prisons. He said there was definitely a hierarchy amongst prisoners, with career prisoners like armed robbery at the top, and paedophiles at the bottom. He didn't specifically talk about crimes about women but he did say people were all up in each others faces and spoiling for a fight a lot of the time so I'm sure sometimes rapists get…

None of us are privy to someone else's thoughts and feelings. If someone says they love their partner then leave them to it unless their behaviour is actively harmful.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 02:20 PM

Of course he can, but on what grounds can that decision even be criticised?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 02:11 PM

Ah you're only 26. Makes sense. Trust me people will start breaking up.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 02:11 PM
1

No that's the implication of what you're saying. Women shouldn't be allowed to receive a drop of men's labour, so why doesn't it go the other way? And do you think men are good teachers of women?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 02:10 PM
10

Maybe in whatever bumfuck town you're from. Relationships end, people change, etc. Your view seems a little unworldly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 11:56 AM

Right, so we divide society and kill off men, that seems to be what you're suggesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 11:55 AM

Well that goes times a million for women then doesn't it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 11:54 AM
3

It's not even true tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:52 AM
12

It always comes back to men on here thinking they know what's best for women, more than women. Women are free to live their own lives and make their own mistakes. If a woman chooses to never settle because she doesn't find a man she wants, that's her perogative.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:50 AM
9

So unless men can own women, you believe that society should entirely cut off women? What happens to male foetuses? Do they have to be aborted since they can't gestate themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:48 AM

OP isn't generalising, they're asking for clarity of a viewpoint on this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:46 AM

To say one whole gender is solipsistic, as though the other is therefore better is ridiculous. Yes, not all men have friends who are women, or at least, not the women they'd like to be dating. Do you think men actually care more about women as people then women care for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 10:38 PM

You're forgetting that they'll know a lot of men who are in long term relationships, some who bounce from short term to short term etc.

That's just the way it is then for men in those women's circles. If those experiences don't match your own then you must run in quite different circles.

Games can be interesting to talk about, but it depends on the guy. If he's good at genuine and reciprocal conversation and is curious then you can have a mutually satisfying conversation. If he assumes women don't play games, or doesn't have much ability to talk about it engagingly then not so. Same with sports i assume although I don't watch them myself much.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 10:10 PM

Oh I agree on that, but still it's not good if people are kept further from the levers of power because of their race or gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 10:08 PM

Kinda shows that women are gold diggers and money is literally all that matters. It shows nothing of the sort. You just sort of fantasised the answer to your own question, and then used that as proof that the question was impactful.

Yeah sometimes one person suggests taking it further and the other realises their feelings don't match. That's happened to me too, don't think it says much about gender relations though. Just a shitty thing is all.

If you're being ghosted after a few months then i don't think that has anything to with the premise of this post. If she was seeing you for a few months then she was down in some regard.

The issue is he keeps asking her about it? So she's increasingly associating his dick with his insecurity which doesn't sound sexy at all. I obviously don't blame her fiance, that must be something that could so easily be a source of insecurity.

Because some men don't understand the difference between their preference and a woman's value. You may prefer women to have had less sexual partners, but it's pure narcissism to say that your preference means anyone who doesn't adhere to it is inherently less valuable.

In that queer women are a notoriously difficult group to study, wr still ga e numbers increasing of LBT women as more and more come out. I'm not saying queer dating is all Sunshine and roses, definitely not, but I'm saying we should keep an open mind when it comes to this kind of research instead of assuming it says anything about a group.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:18 PM

Yes and that's great but they're rarer amongst straight men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:58 PM

No worries my guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:09 PM
3

Obsessed? No. I simply shared a thought on a sub where we discuss this. Did you think this was a straight male support group or something? Literally the whole place is filled with men chatting shit about women but you want to just rag on me? As I said straight people can be interesting but there's just such a weird amount of normie boring ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:08 PM

Based on your comments you sound like you play golf so I guess I win.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:06 PM

You saying if I trawled your comments I'd find no generalisations?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:04 PM

Clearly said its not about their gender. I date bisexual men happily. It's straight people who tend to be boring. I know a lot of lovely and interesting straight people but fucking hell there's millions of these boring straight people out there?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:03 PM
3

Lmfao. I know right, how dare a bisexual lefty woman not want to date apolitical straight men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:02 PM
4

It's not a comment on men. I don't date straight women because they don't date women, as I clearly stated in the post. Nowhere did I mention their politics, only sexuality and how it relates to me finding them interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 05:02 PM
3

That is something people like to say but I believe that issue is more complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:59 PM

I don't care what anyone accuses me of. I don't see anything harmful in my comment, when the last sentence was clearly a nod towards the normal right-wing hand wringing that happen around here.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:58 PM

Oh I date a lot of guys but mostly bisexual men. I know many bisexual women though and that's not universal at all. I know a lot who don't date men at all anymore.

To get to the ground floor of a building one must take the stairs. If you simply jump to the bottom you'll die or be injured. Flirting is taking the stairs. Each step escalating (or de escalating should I say) towards the ground floor.

I don't think those are the only two options. That might be the prize that you are, or aspire to me, but the majority of people don't want that.

TRP is all corporate boring gym bros flexing in the mirror saying "I'm the prize". Like good for you but you're not a prize in anything I'd be competing for.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:46 PM

As a bisexual woman, not gonna date straight men anymore. It's nothing political I just think most of them are mad boring. There's a few good ones but it's such a hunt. Think I'd feel the same if I was a bisexual guy fwiw. This isn't misandry its heterophobia.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:45 PM

I genuinely appreciate the question but I'd really rather not. I will describe myself; shortish, mixed race, chubby curvy muscular but with small waist, wrists, ankles etc. Long hair, bangs, bit of a quirky-vintage dress sense, a few piercings but not tons.

Thank you kindly. Here's to the next two rocks 🫡
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:21 PM

It's not gaslighting when someone disagrees with you. Stop misusing that word. I'm saying if you become that emotionally fucked from having a relationship, then getting one isn't gonna solve the problem cus you'll be such a fucking numpty that you'll fuck it up anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:21 PM
2

I'm not most peoples types but I certainly turn heads, have people of all genders and ages tell me unsolicited I'm beautiful without hitting on me, people give me free shit all the time, if I swipe on a guy on dating apps it's more often a match than not. So idk how I'd translate that to out of 10 cus I'm sure tons of people would think I'd mid but other people seem to think I'm hot af.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:19 PM

Not at all what happens. You clearly don't spend time in queer spaces. No ones grooming anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:12 PM
2

I was well over 17 stone and now I'm around 15 stone. Still a way to go but I'm very muscular so I do look pretty good cus it's mostly muscle on my thighs and bum now rather than just excess body fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:12 PM
1

I think the intimacy in a relationship isn't easily reproduced, but a pat on the back isn't the only thing other relationships can do. You can have real emotional intimacy within friendships if you want to. If you subscribe overly in the Heterosexual nuclear family style relationship then less so, but that structure is inherently unhealthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:09 PM
3

Agreed. You may think if you didn't have an amazing social life, romantic life efc all figured out at 15 that you never will. I know tons of people, including men, who were right weirdo shut ins til well into their mid twenties who are now lovely gorgeous dateable men. Just keep fucking going and be open to the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:07 PM

I lost my pandemic weight and also have stopped being a hermit so I'm a hot girl again, AMA.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:05 PM

Well is it really was those numbers then it would just mean social alienation can be a trigger for gender dysphoria? Besides, gender dysphoria is not essential to be trans. For some they are the gender they know themselves to be, but their existing body does not trigger mental health symptoms.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:04 PM

Lol fair fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:02 PM

Abortion, abusers in the courts issue where I live atm which has disproportionately affected women etc. Financial crisis unduly impacts women. Etc. But there's no point discussing women's problems on here. A man can discuss his problems and the assumption is society should fix it, a woman does the same and its assumed its just her fault for not being more manlike.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:54 PM

Oh no, my avatar didn't meet the weddit fashionistas exacting taste
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:51 PM

If you're very lonely then you have a companionship issue that needs more to address than a romantic relationship can provide on its own. Its like you haven't acually read what I've written.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:51 PM
2

Men's problems are their wants not being fulfilled, women's problems are their needs not being fulfilled. Obviously it's actually a lot more complicated than that, but that's when I think when I come to spaces like this and see men discuss not being able to get "free sex" in the same way as being worse than women's problems. Or who conflate their need for companionship with their want of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:23 PM

My ex was the same tbh, it's not a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 01:08 PM

It depends what you mean by 'put'. If I was in a room full of men, in say the bank, I wouldn't think twice. If I was forcibly placed into a sports hall full of men staring at me I'd be screaming for my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 01:06 PM

How many 21-25 year old haven't had sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:23 PM

As a woman, if I was in a committed relationship I'd trust my partner to use it correctly which would be really nice for my body as its been on birth control so long. If I was single or in a younger relationship I'd be continuing my own methods.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:22 PM
1

Why wouldn't women be selective? Why is that a problem? From my own perspective as a woman, choosing sexual and romantic partners is the time to get picky. Why would I give a shot to a guy who seems boring, not my vibe and not attractive to me?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:19 PM

You clearly have no idea what it's like for women. If you can't empathise with women, how can you expect them to empathise with you?

Just say "hey shall we meet at a midpoint town for lunch? Any preferences or shall I pick?"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 10:21 PM

Considering you're talking about "practicing" on women who you're not attracted to I think this is a bit much. Surely you're then also rejecting them? How do you think they feel in all this? It's true that rejection is horrible though. That's why it's good to just keep meeting new people and see if sparks grow.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 06:17 PM

I'm saying in that situation I wasn't doing any sabotaging of him. Although I think he thought I was the more attractive one.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 06:12 PM

I've never seen or experienced sabotaging behaviour like this from any gender tbh, although people often mention it on reddit. I have dated men better looking than me and on the one hand I felt a bit insecure but on the other hand it was great so 🤷

Right and wrong are constantly changing, for thousands of years economies relied on slavery, and we would think of this as barbaric now. We would say its "morally wrong". There are more slaves today than at any other time in history. Slavery has not gone away. I personally wish to have as positive an impact on the world as I can because the world is shitty and scary and fucked up things happen. It's shit some men can't get sex and relationships. Unfortunately genetics plays a big part in it. I appreciate that kind of sucks, but attraction doesn't play fair I guess. Long fingers with some definition are the obvious ideal. There's definitely things that can help though. Not being too overweight will help as fat starts to increase in the hands at a certain point. Hands should be moisturised, doesn't need to be excessive. Nails don't need much but they should be clean and neatly filed. That's good practice regardless though if you're having…

Its good to get involved in your local community; gigs, workshops, volunteering, library, pub, allotment, club etc. All tried and tested. Meeting new people organically is the number one way to find relationships. I think the issue is a lot of these things are less accessible in some parts, although if you think there's a lack of community activities in your area you could try putting something together yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 12:06 AM

"Going where you're wanted" no I don't think flirting with women who are interested is manipulative if that's what you mean. I think there's moves that people make that I think are a bit weird and not for me, but it's not some sort of universally agreed upon line.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 11:55 PM

I don't see enough men on here worrying about their hands. Too many guys who are in that "kinds cute could be into" area are pulled down by bad hands imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 11:52 PM

Men don't get called fuckboys because of their looks, it's because they've acted like a cunt. If you fancy a quick shag and want to tell lies to do it then that's your perogative. I think it's kind of like women getting a reputation for sleeping around in backwards areas though, if you get a reputation as a fuckboy you might find that comes back on you. But yeah I guess its still r/ihavesex

How do you guys self soothe after a break up?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 09:22 PM

Oof yes tbh. A short term relationship that doesn't work out can be really hard to get over, even if I didn't see a future with them. Feel like the brain chemistry and the conscious decision making are unaligned at that point. Do men not get this?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 09:21 PM

A lot of people are on their birth control of choice for years though. I got mine late teens and been using it til now early thirties. My taste in men has definitely evolved in that time but that's going to be largely due to 15 odd years of growing as a person. I don't know how well that can be accounted for.

We should, but that doesn't mean that blanket statements like from OP shouldn't be criticised. If men are struggling that much then of course they need help, but they also need to stand up to ideas like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 11:10 AM

You've pulled that out of nowhere. Just because you've not been loved by a woman, doesn't mean the reason is because as a man you can't be loved.

You've not listed currency, I presume you mean US dollar. But the cost of living varies so much place to place. I guess I'd say £18k because any less and they probably can't really support themselves, but it's really situation dependent.

Yes, and I have. For me the issue is one of stability, planning, frugality and debt. I'd much rather go out with someone who earnt less but didn't have lots of credit card debt or car on finance.

If they want to do something together because it's interesting to both parties then go for it. The experience/inexperience stuff is weird to bring into it, that just seems like weird unsexy baggage to try and guilt some hypothetical woman into wanting to do things outside her comfort zone otherwise her fella is going to become bitter. If you want a good and healthy sex life, this is not the mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/23 10:38 PM

No, it's because she didn't find your personality attractive. If she went on a date she knew what you looked like, and you had potential to be someone she could be into, but she just wasn't.

My issue is that hordes of angry, desperate white men entering these countries in large numbers will put many women at risk of sexual violence and other harm.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 10:11 AM

Yeah, no one should be being drafted. That's not an oversight. Women fought hard to be not dying in high numbers from what was killing them; childbirth. Why would they start fighting in wars too? Should men want to give birth and die for equality, if they could? No, clearly no one should be dying in childbirth.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 09:47 AM

Can't have rational discussions with anyone who has this sort of bias over anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 09:43 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 10:07 PM

You're using a term that's really associated with male spaces and questioning why women aren't more like men. There's much less women on reddit. Women do look online for how to develop their skills and lifestyles, tiktok is full of 5am-9am routines, clean eating diets etc. There may be less influences scamming women into joining courses like happens with men, but I feel like your question is coming from a place of thinking that women are less interested in working on themselves, which is simply …

I don't cold approach men already because I don't want to bother anyone as much as anything. What if you have a hobbie you really like but there are no men around when you practice it and when you talk about it to men, they feel bored and give an excuse to go alway? What does a casual relationship mean to you? I think being able to articulate that is key. Imo we have a responsibility to ourselves and others to treat sexual partners with courtesy and respect and to be able to discuss the parameters of the relationship, even if it's a relationship that's not intended to be long term or particularly romantic.

The way you immediately jumped to fantasising about women being brutalised completely invalidates your whole point.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 09:50 AM

Why do you assume women hate you if they don't want to date you? I've read your comments and you seem to be describing simple indifference, which I appreciate may be worse.

I don't use the apps much these days, but my general policy as it were is to simply unmatch in that instance. I think that's cleaner. I don't collect matches, sometimes you swipe right on someone but then when they message and you look a bit closer you realise you're not feeling it. I think how you feel is valid, but that doesn't mean you know how other people are feeling.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 08:48 AM

Just had a look at r/datingadviceformen . Feel bad for those guys, a lot of them just don't seem to have the basic social skills needed to get a girlfriend, and have quite immature views on relationships. You can't really give advice to someone in that situation. Either commit to completely changing your personality or accept the situation. If you ask for advice in that situation of course you're going to get a lot of "be confident" type advice. It's not other people's fault that your problem do…

If I had sons I wouldn't send them to a single sex school. I think it's good for kids to be involved in out of school clubs for the socialisation and to have early and good sex and relationship education. Beyond that I'd leave them to it unless there was an obvious problem, some stuff we simply have to work out for ourselves.

But men already don’t have a voice on Bumble without a woman’s permission Thats the point of the app, and it appeals to men who complain women don't initiate. It's hardly some sort of oppression so don't using that language just seems so silly. Filtering by height and body type are paid for actions on a lot of the apps, and likely more often used by men than women.

I'm a woman. Honestly, no idea because a significant majority would be the type of men I'd never be looking at in that way, so I don't have any relevant data to work out how many would be interested enough to go on a date. I suppose a lot of single men are down to go for a casual pint with most women though.

Yeah of course, same as all those women are gonna have a pretty face. Same point.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 10:42 AM

Just because you're not able to distinguish those shades, does not mean their differences are negligible. Clearly they are understood amongst the group with the selecting power, and therefore matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 09:00 PM

Why is there an assumption that irt the 80/20 rule that all women have the same 20%? Personally I prefer pretty boys, and have friends with whom I have little overlap of interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:39 PM

I'm from the UK. I don't know how it compares to the US because I've not been there. A lot of American online discourse seems to be hand wringing about paying for meals out and we don't really do that here tbh. It's quite casual e.g. go to the pub. I do think people here can be quite closed off and modern life can be isolating but I don't think people are too jaded.

I think that's a comment on women's progress in the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 11:19 PM

A dating website ran a survey which is now held up as an irrefutable and eternal fact. It also implies women are all interested in the same 20% which I don't believe the original study even implied.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 08:59 AM

So men keep saying.

Where was the ignoring? You or your friend could have made the introduction. I don't know what your issue is.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 02:00 PM
1

The early stages of courting can be like a dance, and some people have to learn the steps more manually than other people, I agree. But I think it's more about being distinctly yourself, knowing who you are and what you want, knowing what your values are etc. If you just become a bland imitation of someone who might be sexually appealing that sounds like a really hollow kind of existence, and for me personally shows the type of insecurity that would turn me off.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 10:37 AM
1

I think men on here think women are uniformally turned off by insecurity but I don't think that's true. The insecurity that puts me off I think would be best described as a lack of self identity. I am absolutely not turned off by the insecurity of the realities of living life, we are all humans, but when it's clear someone is still figuring out themselves especially when coupled with social climbing behaviour it's a turn off. I know be yourself gets a bad rep, as it should as its so bland. And I…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 09:18 AM

Men hit on women out of their "league" all the time, I don't know why you're hand wringing about this. You could have said "no but my friend is" and made the match yourself.

That's training about how to not harm someone surely, not to simply give empathy for all problems, nor does it relate to a professional context. So are you saying that the government should mandate it? Doesn't seem very workable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:27 PM

Its not the default. Its older than old, but it's not the default if you look at early humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 02:31 PM

Does this only apply to your women in your view?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 02:30 PM

I like taking selfies as a way of seeing how my make up looks, you can kind of get a different impression which helps. I also like recording my outfits, body progress etc. I don't post online but I do send some to close friends and vice versa. I'm sure there's another level too, about viewing oneself etc but it's not at the forefront of my mind in the act.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 12:12 PM

I did not say being an arsehole is the same as what I said. Women are attracted to the above, and sometimes those men turn out to be arseholes, but it's not being an arsehole that was attractive. Maybe at a push sometimes confidence or something has a flipside of arrogance etc, but either way the woman will be attracted due to the above. An ugly man who is arrogant isn't appealing at all. So it shows its about the looks and personality not just arsehole tendencies.

It depends what you mean by strong move. "Wanna come back to mine and x activity" is a strong move, but it still gives the other person space to assert their own agency. Whereas swooping into a kiss can sometimes be too much, I've definitely been kissed when I didn't want to be and I wished there'd been more build up so I could have retreated.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 09:35 PM

Depends, are you attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 08:42 PM

Overall I think it's fine to have an issue with it, what is or isn't ok is the behaviour someone chooses to enact accordingly.

Psychology today is pretty often cited in informal spaces, I was aware of the research but I had to find a citation. 2015 isn't a long time when it comes to scientific research.

No I did not make an assumption, that's just yet another assumption of yours. Was it BOGOF? https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/social-instincts/201507/when-men-arent-good-looking-they-think
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:03 PM

Men are the ones who rate themselves higher looks wise. You've just made a bunch of assumptions there.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:54 PM
1

I think it's a weird way of framing the issue, having "the right to have a problem". I think you need a certain level of compatability with finances with someone, and if their values are incompatible with your own then it's not about your right to have a problem, it's your responsibility to either find a compromise or move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 04:49 PM

You don't need to analyse it to death, just enjoy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 12:17 PM

You've written this as though you've only listed two qualities women need, but really this is a 15 point list. And i thought women were supposed to be the ones with long checklists.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 12:08 PM

Yeah sorry I do. Clearly you got under his skin. You're a bad bitch even if you ain't a looker, so don't worry about him. X
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 04:12 PM

Why? The average man who struggles with these things is unlikely to give a rats arse about women, so not sure why you think women should be bending over backwards to spell out the bleeding obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 04:11 PM
2

How someone will treat you in the future doesn't form a part of attraction. Women aren't psychic and we never claimed to be so. I said good social skills, so dickish douchey behaviour is excluded from that anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 04:10 PM

Completely agree about the texting being deliberate, he seems unkind to the point of dangerous.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 01:54 PM

Its not a secret. Most women are attracted to good looking men with social skills and interesting personalities with compatible lifestyles.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 12:28 PM
2

I think too many people on this sub have a limited view of what constitutes romantic issues. Someone could be able to attract potential suitors but struggle to find one who matches on key compatability issues (say whether they want kids or not etc). Sure that might seem like a nice problem to have if you're not getting any suitors yourself, but if we actually want to be "objective" about this then we have to accept that there are multiple issues individuals face.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 12:16 PM

Depends on if he's hot or not. I'm not against it in principle though.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 11:26 AM
2

I see what you're saying, but I've also seen men on here say they feel desperately suicidal and a relationship would fix that. I think there needs to be some balance between the two. You need as a person to be in a position mentally that you can cope with the emotional upheaval that is falling in love, starting a relationship and building a life with another human being. You don't need to be perfect or self actualised or blissfully content though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 01:43 PM
1

You may be the prize to someone, but for the majority of people you're nothing, and your blanket rejection isn't important to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 09:55 PM

I think you're underestimating the amount of money, time and skill that goes into even basic female grooming. You saying that men don't care about women's personalities seems like a bizarre rebuttal tbqh. But overall I'm talking specifically about looks anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 07:33 PM

This is like something a young teenager would write... First kisses can be awkward and different people and cultures have different perspectives on intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 01:57 PM
1

Nah not at all that tbh. I think at 26 you should have some life experiences and some direction, which you've got. Some people want to do the house/marriage/kids thing and have a proper timeline for it, they're not people I could date and if you're a prison leaver you may want to avoid as well tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 01:55 PM

I recall a study many years ago which shows people varied images of their partner, the couples where they had.hugher partner satisfaction selected the more flattering pictures. Couples who were having problems selected the less flattering pictures. I think if you are in a relationship with someone and attracted to them then this is going to be fundamental in how you perceive that person as well as others. We are not geiger counters for rating every person we meet out of 10.

"Blue pill ideology" is a synthetic opposition to the red pill. There is no coherent blue pill narrative. You're arguing with your own shadow.

If you're someone who can't go out with someone who goes clubbing then I think this should be discussed early doors. Like having kids, it's fine if that's your lifestyle choice but it's not for everyone so why waste anyone's time.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:09 PM

Men on here seeing a man doing something wrong and blaming women every time 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:07 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:40 PM

Someone else having problems doesn't diminish your own, this is oppression Olympics shit and you'll never be able to square this out. You have to accept that other people are the centre of their own universe and that's not wrong, you can just focus on your own problems if you like.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:25 AM

Yeah I don't like how Hollywood writes women these days at all. I want to see women characters who are flawed, interesting and have their own development. I want them to be able to have meaningful relationships with other women characters.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 09:39 AM

It can be controlling, I guess it's not necessarily inherently so depending on the shared values of the couple. Either way it wouldn't be for me at all. Urgh a man who isn't laid back is just unattractive to me.

Some men who just want an anime waifu do need to be told that tbf. Not because it benefits women, ideally they'd be staying away from women, but because they are delusional.

I dont doubt you hold doors open for people. But do you also do all the other chivalrous things men do? Do you also expect those things to be done for you? Yes, I often help people with bags or give up my seat. I don't really help with anything from a great height due to not being tall. I hope to live in a world where everyone gives out that energy, but I do not expect it as I understand many people like yourself mistake basic courtesy for being oppressed and see women as your enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 04:00 PM

There are sadistic women, but we cannot deny that men are simply more violent and more prone to sadism. The same types who are happy to point out biological differences when it comes to justify saying "women bad" get all well its a mixed tapestry when it comes to this.

It depends on what look you're wanting to do, if your skin looks perfect then I don't know what your issue is. I often wear it with no foundation, or just a little concealer. /r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 05:12 PM

I guess it's more attractive to be a bad boy than a boring boy. Personally I like creative guys with golden retriever energy, and floppy haired good looks. If I was going to have a fling though I'd go for the bad boy over the boring boy. Why wouldn't I. You'd be the same if you were a woman whose attracted to men most likely.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 05:11 PM

I'm also from the UK and I massively disagree. I hold doors open etc for all people (as a woman) and tend to see other women doing the same. Whereas you get lots of men who are happy to walk down the pavement three abreast with not a care for anyone. As for seats on public transport, I strongly believe the elderly, disabled, pregnant and children should be the priority. The fact that for the most part only women are the ones who are pregnant is not the point of them needing the seat. I don't kno…

He'll most likely be a bit fumbling and awkward, that's how. Doesn't mean it will necessarily be bad sex because such a massive part of sex being good is just being two people who fancy each other like mad. The reason I'm not interested in dating virgins isn't because they'll be bad at sex, it's because we would be at different life stages.

Fillers, surgery, filters, eating disorders, implants, lifts, botox, BBL, slim thicc etc etc. That you ignore that there are increasingly technologically driven demands on women's bodies doesn't mean they don't exist. I've never said there aren't standards on men but to say they're more than for women because checks notes lizzo exists is delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 10:07 PM

A few hashtags do not equate total acceptance... its a false equivalency to say that women don't receive the same levels of scrutiny as men do for their bodies. It just suggests that you don't know many women well sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 09:31 PM

The first euphoric flushes of romantic interest aren't permanent. It's not a cure. You will put too much pressure on a partner. You need to take therapy if you're suicidal.

How? There's nothing celibate, voluntary or otherwise about my statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 03:56 PM

Because relationships are emotionally taxing, and whilst they can fill your cup up, you need enough to pour into the relationship in the first place. Someone whose suicidal and who needs the relationship could put a lot of pressure on their partner as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 02:36 PM

You've said you ghost women after having sex with them. That's horrible behaviour. I don't know why my post has ruffled you so. Maybe because you know that you're damaged goods and a woman you deemed good wouldn't want anything to do wirb you.

A lot of women like having casual sex. Your issue is that despite them having sex with lots of people, you've still not made the list. If I'm going to have casual sex with a man he needs to be good looking and have good social skills. Your personal development of hitting the gym or learning to code means nothing when it comes to that.

Yeah gambling is a fucking cancer. It disproportionately affects men as a problem with an obvious effect on their families too. No one seems wiling to put the effort into actually combating it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 09:59 AM

If you see sex as something you need to buy from women that makes sense. If the only way you can get sex is by buying mid priced meals out then I can see why you'd be upset at people who don't even know you having enjoyable consensual sex outside of that value system. I've had one night stands, and men like you just aren't on my radar. The feeling is mutual. I'm not sexually attracted to men who have this mindset. I prefer men who are more laid back.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 09:58 AM

I've never heard of anyone paying for the dating apps. I have a friend who met his girlfriend on match.com think he paid for that. Imo the apps will put people who've already liked you closer to the top of the pile when you go on. But swiping can be weirdly fatiguing it's own way so I see the appeal. Pay a little to spend less time on the app.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 02:21 PM

No? The specifics depend on the app. Like if you go into tinder it'll say how many people swiped right on you since you last logged in.

Because it pisses people off who act as though who I chose to date is some sort of slight on them. I literally saw someone say its wrong for short women to date tall men because tall women need them. But then of course when it's the other way round its fine for men to have preferences. Idk I am just a bit of a dick basically. My main accomplishment is being somewhat attractive which I don't really feel is an accomplishment.

Wanting a one sided open relationship is so fucking weak. Thank christ women can make their own money and fuck each other and the hot soyboys so we don't need that shit. I guess you can keep the women with bad self esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:37 PM

One of the things I really enjoy about this sub is it does make me smug dating tall men as a short woman. I had no idea people were so mad at this until I went on reddit. To be clear, I don't exclusively do so, and I don't have a minimum height requirement. They just gravitate to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:35 PM
2

Do you know many sexless women well?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:31 PM
1

Do they're dating you and then what happens?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:30 PM
6

Because when you befriend them they think you actually wanted to be friends. Then you suggest changing to a romantic relationship. So they're saying let's continue our friendship thinking that your befriending was sincere.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 11:14 AM
3

Sometimes, for sure. But until solutions are suggested then there's not much anyone can do to help.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 07:21 AM
2

I don't think it's entitled. Entitlement is thinking that you're owed something by the universe, that you deserve it and if you don't have it then it's external factors fault. Baseline preferences don't fall into that, unless someone's behaviour becomes toxic due to it imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 07:20 AM
4

Because we're waiting for a reasonable strategy to help.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 07:18 AM
2

Why? You have to pay your own way in life, that includes supporting your kids. Expecting the mother of your child or her partner to do all the child rearing and financial upkeep of the kids is wanting something for nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 11:05 PM
2

If you have a kid you need to support that kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 10:48 PM

So you want no abortions and no child support, but women are the ones who want something for free
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 10:35 PM

Men have benefitted so much from abortion. Think about all the child support men have avoided.

Genes don't have emotional reactions like that. Of course I understand that there are biological factors involved in sexual preferences. That is not what I said. I said there is cultural reproduction also at play.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 09:05 PM
3

They don't understand the merits of tender and passionate sex with someone you love, I wonder why that is 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 08:57 PM
2

Couching your response in the language of observation is not at all scientific, it itself is an incredibly subjective perspective. I myself have no issue with men who choose partners who've had less sexual partners because they're not a part of my social circle, and it just doesn't affect me in the slight.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 08:55 PM

Well, you don't like women do you. Just seems hard to have a mutually satisfaction relationship with someone when you resent them for an unchangeable fact about themselves. Go ahead and prove me wrong, if you find a happy relationship I'm more than happy to be wrong :)

/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:55 PM

Idk man she seems married to the job.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:51 PM

Where
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:48 PM

I get that's frustrating. We don't have compatible lifestyles, interests and live on different continents. I don't know what your mouth situation looks like but my point remains. You act like you look like quasimodo.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 10:26 PM

I think a lot of people here miss is that a relationship is more than the sum of its parts. Compatibility means so much more than what each person 'brings to the table'. In this case the table itself is the relationship. You can bond over all sorts of things, lifestyle, preferences, sexuality, temperament etc. It's not simply a percentile for percentile matching which creates a healthy and positive relationship. I'm not saying that other stuff doesn't matter. But if you have everything to bring …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 10:13 PM

Hmm maybe you're right, I've not met someone like that so was just a surprising comment to me. I definitely think there's women out there that would be up for dating you though. Just maybe not the type of women to be hitting on bartenders.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 10:08 PM

Well TIL that the main thing I'm attracted to is checks notes visible teeth.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:54 PM

You have some body dysmorphia. You honestly need therapy. You call yourself literally disfigured. What the hell. You're a normal looking guy in good shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:42 PM

Except retail workers are key workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:18 PM

None of that suggests women are objects and men are subjects. That's you applying your bias to simple genetics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:56 PM
4

No cover for women at bars Oh you're north American I guess. Yeah we don't have that here tbh. Lots of male only spaces here too, from mental health clubs, tool sheds, classes, sports etc. I guess you need to focus on building stuff like that, someone has to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:54 PM

One thing I can't see in the comments is that they obviously bonded over music. When you make music it's something you can really bond with someone over.

Beyonce is considered good looking, she's at least average. Oh Jesus, and you guys say women's standards are too high. If you're saying Beyonce is at least average. She doesn't have to be your type but she's literally Beyonce.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:16 PM

Don't accuse me of not engaging in good faith because you don't agree with me. I took his comment to mean "the only reason not all women identity with this is because its a new phenomena but it applies to all of them".
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:06 PM

For sure, Benedict Cumberbatch deep down looks like every middle class English guy off to work at the council. Nothing wrong with that at all, my point is every average person could look better, and most could be considered some level attractive if they had the resources, time and dedication. ETA with Cumberbatch specifically he wears very well cut expensive suits, is in shape and has an expensive haircut. That's most of the secret sauce.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:59 PM

How are men not objects?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:57 PM
4

but that's only because its a relatively new phenomena
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:57 PM

Simping is too broad a term. Tons of guys here use it to mean "is nice to women including those he fancies".

Some people you don't know having OCD, and you make yourself the victim.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:28 PM

And I already know what the response to this post will be from those same people I.E. that the ROCD sub only has 10k users and that this is le totally not all women!1!1!1! but that’s only because it’s a relatively new phenomenon
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:27 PM

But you want to fuck them despite them not being reasonable adults? Eww.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 07:25 PM

As I said, it depends on the jurisdiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:39 PM

Men need to hold each other sccountable for their dirty teeth and dirty arseholes. And I'm sorry but I just know you know some right wrong uns 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:36 PM

Different crimes operate in different ways, need different approaches and resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:35 PM

I misread that sentence very badly first try 💀
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:20 PM

Short king 😍
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:19 PM

PPD men blame the woman when the man's behaved badly, and the woman when the woman's behaved badly. But something something women can't be held accountable.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:19 PM

I would still think it a bit tragic if I found out. I appreciate if is the operative word there. But I am just one person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:17 PM

l wouldn't say relationships require experience They don't require it, but you can definitely benefit from bringing your prior experience to a relationship. This will make you a better partner. There was a documentary years ago on UK TV about virgins hiring sex workers. One guy said he knew he'd be a great boyfriend because he'd listen to her and buy her flowers. He seemed sweet and I'm sure he would with time, but his idea of a relationship seemed based on just observation of other relationship…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 05:16 PM

I have third hand embarrassment for him. If you're attracted you're attracted. It's like some people just want to be unhappy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 05:14 PM

The thing that pisses me off about conspiracy theorists is they refuse to engage with the actual injustices of the World, which are hiding in plain sight.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 05:11 PM

Depends on what you mean by OK. Is it legally fine? Probably yes depending on jurisdiction. If I found out I think the girls group chat would implode laughing at him.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 05:10 PM
2

Ah ok I see, I get that. Definitely could be worth exploring new channels for meeting people. Happy to brainstorm ideas too.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:30 PM

Yep. Never trust a skinny chef and all that, if you don't mind the mixed metaphor.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:29 PM

Since the main advice is rule 1 and 2, I hardly think the competition is fierce.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:26 PM
2

I'm not pilled.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:25 PM
5

Idk, perhaps? Not sure what that had to do with it though. My point is, as much as pilled type men love to say they don't want to date women with xyz, they need to realise that the feeling is mutual.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:30 PM
3

Could you go to an autistic meetup? https://www.meetup.com/squarepegs/
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:29 PM

"If you want to learn to fish, ask a fisherman not a fish". OK, but why would you trust anyone whose fishing from the same lake as you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:20 PM

You don't need to be married to have kids. And a lot of people don't even want kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:05 PM
1

Not exclusively, but yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:54 PM
2

I definitely think improving your social life, or getting that face surgery, travelling, getting a dog, decorating your flat, etc are all things you could think about. Not to self improve but for something to do. Everyone needs something to move towards.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:48 PM
7

Yep, repulsing men like that is a definite bonus feature of tattoos.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:47 PM
2

This space is predominantly male, and filled with men who hate women at that. It's therefore not a place that women congregate, or safe, or helpful to share criticisms of women imo. I go to other spaces for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:45 PM
2

Lots of people are coming out as bisexual and I've seem the comparison to left handedness which makes sense. Tall men are just hotter to a lot of people. Same as big tits are hotter to a lot of people. Sure you could apply some junk science to it based on assumptions of evolutionary psychology, but at the end of the day the fanny wants what the fanny wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:44 PM
5

Yup but you also hear the opposite just as much. Especially from American medical student men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:42 PM
3

What a huge leap. She doesn't talk about the finances of it at all. Plus she's saying it's a regret. It's not a strategy. She's saying don't get married in your late 20s because you might grow too far apart. Some lessons can only be learnt once, so she's paying that forward. Some of you really are so desperate to rag on a woman for the silliest of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:41 PM
1

Oh for sure, she'd think it was an emergency hidden weapon or something. Yeah I agree, and personally I'm not someone whose always talking about periods at all, but when men act like it's the absolute worst it just makes me think he's not mature enough for sex or a relationship tbqh.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 01:36 PM
3

"Hire fans", i think not.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:46 PM

Aloy has never seen a razor in her life. I think for these types they don't realise how much grooming goes into achieving basic femininity.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:45 PM
9

There's a lot of people with zero experience of relationships dead keen to give the most unhinged advice and wacky hot takes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:12 PM
2

If I was in a relationship, yes, and my LTR I would have as well. If you can't trust them about something like that then I don't think it's a good sign! If it's more you're very private that's another thing I guess, but that's not really the dynamics I want to be involved in.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:10 PM
1

I'm not denying it doesn't work on some, but actively making the world a slightly more shitty place isn't how j want to spend my time on the planet.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:08 PM
1

This is all really helpful, thanks. I definitely have struggled to tell between thirsty and enthusiastic before, some people are really good at portraying a certain image.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:07 PM
1

I'm really sorry to hear that, I've had similar experiences and it's so important to be able to recognise that and choose partners who don't inflame those wounds as adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:06 PM
2

If you're accused of having sticky fingers then it's definitely time to go. Aren't you American though? Didn't realise you have employment rights there.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:25 AM
3

Yep, ironically the desperation for a partner or sex can make someone not be well equipped to do either of those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:23 AM
9

But if your "equal" doesn't give a shit and is out there getting with non-autistic guys, what's left? Maybe no one. Not everyone will have a relationship. It's sad, but it's true.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 11:22 AM
3

Not for most women. He's such a dirty hypocrite as well. He's saying you get confidence from the outside world, and calls her a stupid bitch. Either he's doing the least funny bit, or he's actively trying to make her not confident.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 10:30 AM
1

I knew about those things, just didn't realise it could get stuck, sounds proper scary and painful? Idk not having a dick means I really can't imagine the sensation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 10:11 AM
2

And if most women have low oestrogen then surely that's the baseline and is not low? Not a biologist and not pretending I know too much about this but surely normal biological function is essentially contextual.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:53 AM
2

Well, as a person whose left the house once or twice, j can say that this is neither feasible nor attractive. I would like to meet someone with whom I am compatible, attracted to and can have a mutually enjoyable relationship. Christian Grey isn't my ideal man at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:41 AM
3

All very important traits. Yes someone who can have disagreement without it being a confrontation or argument. Being shouted at angrily is so upsetting, don't want that in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:38 AM
2

I watched an HBO documentary about sex workers in New York years ago, and they had an audio recording of one of the women's interactions, this guy came but it didn't come out his dick? And she was trying to wank it out? I had no idea that could happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:29 AM
2

Q4M what kind of qualities/traits would you be looking for if you were a woman dating men? Add looks if you dare.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 09:22 AM
5

"I hate women, why won't they fuck me."
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:24 AM
3

I guess the poster was assuming men here were dating normal women, not pickmes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:24 AM

The entire post was about comparing women to men and how women don't have it as bad. If you can't handle the comparison going the other way then you're not equipped for the debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:22 AM

Have you ever heard a woman being called a school shooter No because women just don't commit violence like that in the same rates that men do. I definitely think autistic men have a difficult time. But to assume that neurodivergent women have it easy is taking it too far. You don't need to compare one with the other. Autistic women specifically are highly invisible in society, that does not mean they have an easy life.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 08:20 AM

Why, were her eggs in your year at school or something
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:55 PM

Christ alive I've worked at a company where everyone was a man except for me and they bitched like hell about each other, as well as were horrible as shit to each other. "Men don't gossip" is such a male supremacy truthism.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:22 PM

Feeling lighter? How much do fallopian tubes weigh?? Or is that a joke.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:21 PM

I think it absolutely would, but you shouldn't get it unless you're gagging to do so. Sounds like you have bigger priorities and that's the right decision for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:20 PM

Have fun lad.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:08 PM

Is there a reason you don't want to get it? Jaw surgery must be super painful though, don't blame you. Got my wisdom tooth out a couple ago and the pain was insanely bad, can't imagine what that's like. I'm pretty lucky that being fat is the only thing majorly wrong with my looks. It meant I always felt really guilty, like I was 'wasting" my looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:08 PM

Did some side by side comparison of before I started losing weight and now, knew I'd lost some from the tummy, didn't realise the thighs as well. Actually looking pretty decent atm and getting lots of compliments, shame I don't have the social skills or mental health to back it up 🫠
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:59 PM

Love language is a Christian pseudoscience. If it gives you something to read about then go for it, but it isn't an immutable trait.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:57 PM
2

Or maybe misogynistic men are liars and grifters?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:37 PM

I would say she's a financial abuse victim rather than simply not a functional adult, but go off king.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:09 PM
9

Imagine you were being catcalled by groups of 7 foot men with chains in their fists. That's more apt.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:02 PM

If an issue is becoming more common, then its a structural issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 06:43 PM

And you think men don't?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 06:43 PM
5

How many feminist girlfriends have you had?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 06:14 PM

I also know that Chad can grab a nipple upon first meeting and nothing will happen The funny thing is this exact thing happened to me as a young un and I literally ran away. It had been nice up to this point, the good looking halo only gets you so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 05:51 PM
7

No. I don't want the pressure and upset of having to reject someone. Yes there's a lot of effort involved in dating for me as a woman, and I'm sure there is for men as well. Ironically I think feminists are actually a lot more equal about this, something my ex said to me was he came to think feminists were better girlfriends for this among other reasons. Absolutely not. Scrolling on the apps is dead boring, I would literally rather be at work.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 05:46 PM
15

Why would anyone want to change your view? By your own logic, women don't care about you, and men are simply competition who have a vested interest in keeping as many men out of dating as possible. Is modern dating horrible? Without a shadow of a doubt. Is there something you could be doing different? Most certainly, anyone whose single and doesn't want to be most likely is (me included!).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 04:37 PM
11

Many thanks for this. I will print it out and file in my records.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 04:33 PM

things a little dry Please don't self harm in the group chat 💀
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 04:14 PM

I kind of agree, not been following closely but does seem they could have put out more warning.

It's definitely hard, being vulnerable with a person when you know it might end as soon as it began. Life is so scary, how any of us find the courage to do anything I don't know. This doesn't work as advice but is true nonetheless; i just do it anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 01:42 PM

That's fine. You don't need to be attracted to the average woman.

Getting a girlfriend or having sex isn't paying for a service. If you have that mentality then you'll only end up with women who also have that mentality, and create a self fulfilling prophecy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 01:09 PM

If you're looking at a relationship together then you should certainly have a certain level of compatability on this. If you're questioning everything then yes maybe breaking up is for the best.

OTOH the non owning partner can accumulate equity if it can be proved they contributed to the mortgage or improvements in England (as far as I know! Not a lawyer).

There's materialistic people of all genders. Stereotypical male consumer hobbies include watches, cars, soundsystems.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:51 PM

Sure, I can definitely see why that would be frustrating on am abstract level, but I've never seen anything like that anecdotally in my own circles. not saying it doesn't happen but it's hard to empathise with situations you only hear about online and that don't reflect your own social reality. I think in your first scenario I'd assume he realised that taking things too fast too soon didn't build a solid relationship. If i thought he just didn't like me that would be different, and I'd hope that…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:50 PM

I like that but no, it's because they're more sexually attractive (to me!).

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:17 PM

Taking my quote out of context isn't the gotcha you think it is! I accept different relationships move at different paces. My goal isn't to become partnered up at the fastest rate, its finding a partnership with the highest amount of compatability and mutual interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:11 PM

Thank you for asking, its lilac, what about you?

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:09 PM

He can if they have an open relationship, otherwise its cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:05 PM
2

I don't see why you think people who've had less sex are more stable. Stability means a lot of different things to different people, there are plenty of people I would find pure chaos to be even in the same room as, and others who would seem to be off on one with whom I could feel a sense of home.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 12:04 PM
2

I can empathise to a degree for sure! Sexual compatibility is important for a lot (most?) people. wipes sweat from brow filth
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:53 AM
2

Then they'll need to decide if that's a deal breaker or not. If a woman tried anal, hated it, that doesn't mean she's obliged to do it with her most serious relationship. Doing sexual things you're not comfortable with is a sure fire way to dismantle the safety and trust within a relationship. But if finding a partner who loves anal is the priority then he can do that, just not pressure someone into doing it because oh you did it once with Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:52 AM
4

I'm personally not in favour of arbitrary timelines, but I think wanting to become comfortable with someone isn't necessarily a bad idea. That doesn't mean you're less attracted to the person. I mean personally I only want to date people I'm highly attracted to, so if I'm thinking a relationship then that's certainly not an issue. I appreciate people say this but most women aren't FDS and aren't bringing "strategy", just going at a pace that feels comfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:49 AM
2

I think people of all genders have preferences regarding sexual partners, for men this means conforning to ideals of masculinity including sexual access. On the other hand it can also be about being in compatible life stages, personally I am no longer in a life stage where dating a person whose got no sex or relationship experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:46 AM

I'm not made of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:45 AM

I wouldn't be partnering up with a man like that. I like someone whose gonna worship the puss. And no it isn't true in my experience. I've seen guys who I thought were majorly hot, we had a short term relationship but didn't have sex for a little bit. If you want to think men and women are so different when it comes to sex and dating then you need to not apply a male POV to women's thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:43 AM

I like soyboys best AMA
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:38 AM

Agred, and when you look at it like that it's also a sort of harem fantasy, of having an abundance of innocent near virgins, whilst being on the flipside, i.e "dick is abundant" is anathema. If you're unable to accept another person as a full complete human being then I wonder how well equipped you are to be in a relationship. That's not to say you can't have preferences for this sort of thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:37 AM
2

I appreciate you're speaking with hyperbole, but still I don't think that's often the case, at least not where I live. The mentality seems to be, women will have sex immediately if you're Chad, and if you're not Chad then that's also somehow a woman's fault. Heavens forbid people act differently at 30 than they did at 20.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:35 AM
8

I've never understood the pilled mentality that if a woman has ever done x sexually, or had sex within y time frame she has to forever onwards or else she doesn't actually fancy the newest fella. People can experience something and realise it's not for them. You're not signing a contract that says you'll always do this going forward. For some people they realise they want to develop something of a connection before getting sexual because they see relationship potential. That goes for men and wom…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:04 AM

I mean, focus on making friends before you start focusing on dating as much. If anyone asks you can just say you've not had a long term relationship, hardly a lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:53 AM

It's not something I've ever heard anyone talking about in real life tbh. Have you just seen it a lot on the Internet?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:03 AM

You need to examine your hierarchy of needs. Dating and sex are important for a lot of people but you need the right foundation in place first. I appreciate this is very common advice but therapy really might be a good shout for you. If that's not accessible for you there are CBT workbooks online which could be helpful.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:54 AM

There's a lot of other potential factors at play. As I said, some people struggle with things that others don't.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 06:20 AM

Different people struggle with different things. In the same way you struggle to get a girlfriend, some people struggle to make a lot of money. For some people getting a girlfriend is the easiest thing in the world, and you might feel put out if they said as much and that anyone could do it.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 08:12 PM

Children don't simply belong to their mothers though. I'm childfree and I still think this is a bad take. Why is it only men don't need to be taxed for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:43 PM

Lol no it really isn't. If men don't want to date slaggy or fat women that's their perogative, but women don't need to base their whole lives on being ideal for men who don't even care about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:33 PM

You're not doing her some favour. If you don't think she's beautiful enough to warrant complimenting her like that then don't have sex with her if you're going to resent that.

What feminists are saying that?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:29 PM

That's nice. They don't live in my head though. Someone mentioned them and I inquired. Are you really going your own way if you need to imagine women are crying at your loss.

Every day I'd pick a man who was frugal and could make do and mend, than a man with a higher income who doesn't know the value of anything. Maybe its cus I spent a lot of time in punk type spaces. I do enjoy the odd splurge but I can afford that myself.

Women are not a monolith. There is a variety of opinions. You're assuming it's the same women. I don't think people should lower their standards, I think they should appraise whether or not their standards are needs or a checklist, based on externalised perfectionism. For example, my need is for a partner who is financially stable. But a checklist item would be they need to make x amount or whatever. There will be a grey area between the two, but the broad strokes still apply.

I'm not in favour of labelling anyone bad, because it means that if there are bad people then there are good people. When people decide that they are good, that's when they can commit great evil. We should all be vigilant against our own desires to label ourselves as good.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 03:00 PM

It may well be because of that tbh. I don't think there's anything wrong with being a lone man in a bar to be clear, but I'm cautious around men in general tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:43 PM

The custodial parent is the one who will be covering day to day expenses, so yes it is reimbursement. If a non custodial parent is rich then they should allow a child to have certain quality of life as well as contribute to at least half the costs of looking after that child. Most single mothers don't get half the chile's costs in support it's less than that.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I just wouldn't go out with one as we would be in vastly different life stages.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 08:41 AM

Rugged type men don't tend to appeal to teenage girls and young women. Heck, I'm early 30s and I still don't find lumberjack and thicknecks attractive at all. When I was younger I did fancy the odd older guy, but they were all silver fox intellectual types. I don't think there's a major shift going on. Teenage girls and young women like pretty boys. It's not that deep
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 08:37 AM

My dad cold approached my mother at a rock concert and my grandfather cold approached my grandma at college. There's a massive difference between hitting on someone at a place like that and on the street. Personally I wouldn't date someone who had no friends in our city. Focus on making friends first.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 08:33 AM

I personally have never heard this argument about a couple in the 40 and 25 sort if age gap. Only when youngish men are dating inappropriately young women, e.g. 30 year old dating a 16 year old.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 08:31 AM

In that case the paying parent is reimbursing the custodial partner.

Jameela Jamil is too old and fat for you. Weird. She's a beautiful woman with a stunning figure imo. David Beckham mind, he is too old to be attractive to me. He hasn't got a silver fox thing going on, just looks old.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:24 AM

It's a thing in my country as I understand, so I thought a large city like Seattle might have something similar.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:11 AM

I see. Have you tried joining groups for people with visible differences?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:06 AM

Of course. No one disagrees with that. But I don't see why you're offended at single mothers spending some of their own money on themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:00 AM

If you're asking for their number and asking to hang out then you are hitting on them. Hitting on someone doesn't just mean asking to have sex with them. Yes I live in a big city (not in North America) that's known for having lots of youngish well dressed people. If you're in shape, groomed and well dressed then I doubt you're a 2. (Personally I don't agree with a 1- 10 scale as I don't find it as useful as its adherents claim, but using in this case is its the framework you're using).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:59 AM

I see. Those are definitely going to put some women off tbh. There's a lot of autistic men who are able to succeed romantically, but obviously everyone's autism is different. If you ever want to send me a picture and see if I have any advice you're welcome. The women you hit on, are they also 2/10?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:34 AM

What's your personality like? What's your face like?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:19 AM

"If you want to hang out sometime" could be off-putting, depending on delivery. Might come across as just asking to hook up.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 12:17 AM

Well here it goes to the parent with primary custody so that they can spend it on the child's expenses. The amount can either be decided privately between the parents, or there's a government service that can decide, based on the paying parents income. It takes into account how often there's overnight stays, other children you have etc. Out of curiosity, I just used the calculator (where you can get a rough estimate) using my income on the assumption of 1 child I have every other weekend over ni…

If you followed the money you'd find child support barely covers much for most parents with primary custody I'm sure.

Child support goes into someone's account from which their other expenses, including luxuries, comes from. That's just basic accounting.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:13 PM

I don't hate men. Not sure what you mean by choose poorly. And my dad loves me a lot but not sure why that's always thrown at women like some big gotcha. Like, if men being bad parents is so commonplace it's become a cliche feel like that would support the need for feminism, not diminish it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 11:13 PM

Yes. I've been in relationships like that, and most of my friends are in relationships like that. Its perfectly possible but you do have to see the other person as a human being as complex as yourself.

Feminism didn't destroy society. Patriarchy hurts men too. Men who enjoy being able to go into and socialise with single women freely, have sex, not get married etc are benefitting from feminism, even if they are too churlish to realise who it is they have to thank for that. Tate will be a flash in the pan, as he should be.

I don't think that's the entirety of what TRP advocates e.g. spinning plates, pump and dump etc.

Right I get you now, thanks. Yes being validated can be really important for some people, it is for me. I think for me I'd say it feels important but it's not a need if that distinction makes sense.

His exploding definitely felt quite artificial. It doesn't really affect me but I feel bad for schoolgirls who have to deal with boys at school thinking they're alpha, harassing them etc.

Lmao, fucking men does not raise anyone's status. Why would I need men? I date men when there's a vibe. If i dated men because I needed them or wanted something you'd accuse me of being transactional. See, women can't win in your eyes.

I did it once because I was asked to, but he turned out to be a bit of a fetishist for my race, so it's put me off doing it again.

How did you get "my preferences are better than yours" from "for me that's a healthier sexual outlet". Idaf if someone watches porn, just sharing a viewpoint.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 09:28 PM
1

I think porn can be really damaging. Personally I prefer to read erotica if I'm in that mood, for me it feels like a healthier sexual outlet. Agreed that keeping busy is good though, if you sit in bed all day on your mobile you will be very lucky to not end up depressed, if that wasn't the reason you started doing it in the first place.

For sure, we don't even go on dinner dates that much as a first date in the UK. Coffee or pub feels like a good first date, low cost and can do rounds.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 03:05 PM

The preference itself isn't the misogyny, it's the language and behaviour that accompanies it. I've known one or two women who had a preference for stocky guys, and they didn't feel the need to put down other men for it.

Its insidious innit. I get anxious, fall behind with stuff I neeed to do, smoke weed, then eat a ton of crap and don't look after myself, then repeat the cycle. I hope you have fun at the festival! If I could just smoke weed at stuff like that it'd be fine. But I end up smoking all day every day very quickly. Think my overall aim is 3 stone (42 pounds I think) so a while to go but think if I stick to a healthier lifestyle I'll be able to get there without "dieting", my lifestyle will simply invo…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:08 PM

The latter is definitely less objectionable to me. When it's the former and you see men online say its because women their age are x/y/z then it feels less about them having a connection and more about his deep seated misogyny. I don't think anyone should date someone who hates their gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:07 PM

My comment wasn't very clearly written at all sorry. I meant, if your disadvantage is based needing strangers to not have consensual sex with one another then there's going to be an issue with finding a solution that doesn't limit their own rights. Yeah I don't think all men that say it are meaning it as a threat, more a warning, but it can be a little chilling, and off putting as a woman who wants to help men.

You said trends and statistics, and I provided you with a relatively recent statistic. That it's not a flash in a pan is both irrelevant, nor was it stated as a necessity by you. I guess it just doesn't map onto how you feel.

I can imagine! Seems a bit stressful which must make it worse. The first time my ex and I had sex he was pretty quick, which I find standard first time you have sex with a cisgender man. The first thing he said after was "I knew I should have turned off the lights" and we had a giggle and it was fine. I don't think I've ever had sex with a man whose been circumcised. I'd definitely date one who was, bit it's not my preference. I just think they look a little... sore? As well as it being a fucked…

Definitely agree. I've got a long standing cannabis addiction, currently have quit, hopefully for the last time. Weirdly its made my appetite reduce and my ability to portion control easier. I think I got to a stage where I felt it didn't matter anymore, i was fat and never going to not be. Lost about 12 pounds so far, which doesn't seem a lot but its all been from my tummy, which has reduced by 5". The problem is, if you feeling disadvanted is predilected on someone else not having consensual sex with another person. The sex lives of other people is their own business. I don't wish to ridicule sexless men, but I don't think in turn that women shagging about is actively harming them. They're offended, upset, hurt perhaps. But it is up to them to learn to emotionally self regulate rather than lashing out. A lot of men here have a "if there's lots if angry men society will suffer" attitude. P…

If I had a partner who always did that I'd probably find it a little frustrating sometimes because I enjoy the intimacy of PIV, and you can get the womens equivalent of blue balls if you were heading in the right direction and then it suddenly ends. But I've certainly enjoyed other things afterwards. To be clear, I'm sure some women can be rude about it, just as I'm sure some men would be if they fucking a woman and she came and her orgasm meant the sex was over.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:40 PM

Thats a very kind way of looking at it, thank you. It's been very hard for me to have the confidence to look after myself for a variety of personal reasons (none romantic to be clear), so being able to feels like I'm starting to be where I want to mentally.

I think it's gross when middle aged men only want to date much younger women, doesn't mean I think it's the same as child rape or that it should be illegal.

Yeah I agree, people on reddit seem to act like everyone has their sexual partners number tattooed on their head. But yes women with higher numbers of partners are definitely maligned. People can be very rude about that sort of thing online. I don't come across it as much in real life mind, not since school anyway.

You're assuming the reason shut shaming happens is because women don't acknowledge that. In reality its because of historical reasons that started long before any of us were alive, and its been reproduced by each generation. The best thing women can do is to not have families, not fuck pilled men and retreat from circles where their sexuality is policed.

I've finally lost my pandemic weight, and also been improving my posture and gait, the last two mostly for the health and comfort benefits. It's not that the average man's attraction to me is particularly important, but it can certainly be a convenient and simple enough barometer. I'm now getting multiple men do double takes when they see me walk down the street. So that's nice.

You can see the lust leave their eyes as it’s replaced with something more platonic as though you shift from a potential partner to more or a friend and confidant. Re read what you just said. If your partner is opening up then of course it's going to be non sexual. Caring for someone puts a lot of people into a non sexual headspace, but that doesn't mean that it's only going to be like that forever. Why does everyone on here think that attractiveness needs to be evenly distributed, or that anyone needs to justify their attraction. NO ONE is able to "objectively" rate people like that. The issue here seems to be with the study itself. Women existing and being attracted to whoever, fine study it. But if your result/interpretation is "ahaha the results are in and science says women aren't objective about who they fancy" then the study and the jnterpreration are at fault. Not an entire gender, …

I agree people feel such a strong desire for sex and relationships that it becomes a need, but i think its false to correlate that with dating app matches. That is a going to be a fleeting feeling which does not provide intimacy in of itself.

"Don't you dare" grow up. FDS does not claim to be feminist. Feminists do not claim it. The only one saying it is is you, an outsider to both groups. I don't feel the need to brag about my formal education here, but suffice to say it sounds like it's outstripped yours a little. Anyway I don't care to continue this conversation, it's so patently untrue to say that a group of women who don't call themselves feminist collectively and who are invested in upholding gender norms are feminist. /r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 09:48 AM

Why is one weirder than the other?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:46 AM

Men also do that. It's a tried and tested method, but it can have serious emotional consequences if you're covering up feelings by applying more feelings on top of them. It's better to have processed it some extent before you start queuing for the orgy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:45 AM

A lot of people have cottoned onto this tbh. I'm always down to shoe legitimate criticism towards white women, but criticism about them by white men is like, who fucking invited you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:59 AM

It's not a boundary I'd set, assuming fair usage, but i agree that you're probably going to have a healthy relationship if you avoid too much of either. Short term dopamine bursts where you can disengage from the person actually in front of you
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:55 AM

Everyone thinks they have good taste in those things.

Agreed. I mentioned here a while back that I'm a fat bisexual woman whose had a lot of sexual partners who doesn't struggle to get dates and relationships if I want them, and someone said that literally hurt them. I think it's because for someone you look down on to be getting things you want rubs them the wrong way. The only cure for that is to just not look down on others. Then happy slags existing won't cause you an existential crisis.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:19 AM

Why should they be forced to settle? No ones forcing them to settle. If they think they're worth x, but can't get x, then they have the choice to stay single. What's the alternative you're suggesting?

Why are so many people here obsessed with the dating apps studies. Completely flawed datasets from companies with vested interest in the matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:09 AM

I'm not making rules, nor was my comment drippy. You're uninformed about feminism, that's abundantly clear. You wouldn't be finding it so hard to understand the difference between FDS and feminism otherwise. Feminism itself has schools within it that have contradictory views besides. If you're going to hate something you need to be informed about it, and I don't just mean by reading pill propaganda.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:07 AM

Then you're simply uninformed about feminism.

I agree that it's up to the individuals. Bringing money feels unnecessary to me, and when I was that age I definitely enjoyed dating men my own age, and I don't think it's wrong for women to share their own perspectives on this with younger women. Same as men warn other men about certain types of women. It's not an edict, just sharing perspectives.

Depends where you live I think, I live in the North of England and have to take vitamin D because I just can't absorb enough from food. Definitely not a replacement for a good diet though I agree. What depends as a nude really varies. Topless or suggestive can be hot I suppose. Straight up penis does not appeal. And I think a lot of men feel the same, don't want to just get nudes from random women off dating apps or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 02:18 PM
7

Agreed. The explanation men give for why those age gap relationships are good, are the reason women think they're bad. If it wasn't discussed in those terms I'd have less issue with it. But its not in a young woman's interest to shack up with some older man who only cares about young looking vagina.

There's no need, but if you want to be sexually attractive in a capitalist society that will involve spending some money. A skincare routine does not need be expensive mind.

Hahha not come across them (him?). Saying women don't enjoy sex is like when Ben Shapiro said women don't get wet during sex. What they thought was a sick burn to women really just makes them look like they're notably rubbish in the sack.

For sure, I meant finding the right barber is important, as in someone whose got the style and skill to advise someone on the right cut for them. It's definitely worth building a relationship with the right hairdresser, although an absolute pain in the arse too.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:19 PM

For sure, and whilst some people are more physiologically aligned with conventional beauty, there's still going to be a few things that can improve your looks, if that matters to you. ETA anyone wanting quick skincare tips my DMs are open. Haircuts for men is more about finding the right barber, there's a lot of subtleties in men's hair that I won't pretend I'm an expert on.

Yes, different women have different opinions.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 12:52 PM

And men don't?

Good social skills and relationship etiquette are learnt at a time when a lot of these men were focusing on other things, and missed their boat a bit. Must be really hard to catch up with. But I see so many men on here complain about women who stay with men who don't have these things going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:59 AM

Pushing boundaries, lying, saying you have one sexual or romantic goal when it's another. TRP is proudly manipulative, it's explicitly stated within its core discourse.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:56 AM
1

If transactional sex is women's nature, then its everyone's style. It takes two to tango. And there's more reasons to have sex than simply "get off", I've had plenty of sex where I didn't orgasm in anyway and still had a really good time.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:55 AM
3

What about fat men?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:51 AM
5

Yeah I've noticed a lot of men on here who've gone black pill have had one or two bad experiences and then can find any excuse about why they can't change this. It seems to me they've not developed the kind of emotional resilience that you need to cope on a shitty stressful planet. I sympathise with it to some degree but you can't help someone whose decided they can't change anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:50 AM
2

Statistically men are more likely to cheat, although that's an old data set I'm thinking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:48 AM
7

They want it both ways. Women care about looks and that's shallow, but women also likes stuff other than looks and that's shallow. Men like looks but that's not shallow it's simply biological. They simply must find young tight wombs to impregnate, as God intended.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:08 AM
5

It's such a bizarre take. What do these types think would happen if there was no women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:06 AM

Do you think men are vested in maintaining gendered norms they don't benefit from? No. FDS and feminism are not the same thing at all. Different goals, methods, ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:54 AM
2

As I said, I'm not going out for first dates at all, don't live in the US, don't think your dating culture is very good, and think you all complain a lot about stuff you could change.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:52 AM
1

Ime they're thinking about both. As I say, the economic situation in the UK is worse than in other places, so whilst the government is saying "oh this is a global problem, nothing to be done" that classification of the problem is something people are talking about. If someone's not into politics that's fine, but they're definitely not just abstract issues, especially local politics for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:51 AM
2

Nah a lot of thin women think that tbh. Personally, as a fat woman, I don't really care. When I find out a man only likes thin women it desexualises him entirely for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:38 AM
1

Not ugly tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:37 AM
2

I simply said that because your writing seems not great, didn't realise you have an English degree. Thematic analysis isn't a "Liberal" thing either. The themes of a book are a major part of why a book is interesting. That doesn't mean it's an allegory for a wider social issue. If you only wanted to enjoy reading and not analyse themes then choosing to study English at uni seems like an odd choice to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:08 AM

I agree, it's weird to decide that liking thin women is biology, but liking tall men is shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:04 AM

I see. What evidence do you have for this? Seems like a big assumption to make about people for whom you've not even met.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:01 AM

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:00 AM

The economy isn't just an abstract global issues. Here in the UK interest rates got hiked again, and a lot of people are going to be spending hundreds extra a month as a result. If you're insulated from these issues enough that they seem abstract then that doesn't feel counter to what lillth said.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 12:59 AM

I'd heard of the band first so I was very confused when people started talking about this man too.

If you work in porn you'll be wearing a ton. Partly for the pure aesthetic of being altered, but also because if you're being filmed it's better for the lighting. And then the levels you'd need for having sex as well. I don't think makeup is lying, it's more temporary embellishment. (Embellishment in the sense of adornment, not embellishing the truth).
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 12:54 AM
6

Why? I don't personally feel the need to have men tell me I'm ugly because they've got a political agenda going on. Or tell me I'm ugly and try and get nudes anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 12:51 AM

Enjoying literature doesn't require wanting to be a writer though. Pretty much every English teacher has just been a normal person who enjoyed reading, did an English degree and moved into teaching. But I do agree that the quality of your English education seems to have been lacking.
