As someone who also grew up in a strict and sheltered south asian household I can relate to some parts of what you've said. I used to feel the same way when I was in my mid twenties having not exactly 'dated' but as I've approached my late twenties in a way I'm sort of glad I didn't. These past few years have shown me that modern day dating is just twice and hard and unrewarding for the most part. But now that I'm a little older I feel like I can atleast judge and understand people better overal…
