I never read the book, just basing on these points, I have a feeling that by following these rules you give up on your beliefs, personality, and true you in general. You do everything for others and thinking about others, just to be liked. And you will be liked, but will you be respected? I doubt it. I understand that you might want to do this to achieve your own goals, and I suppose it could work, but is it worth it?
