And since teenage boys also do crazy stunts with bicycles and jumping off roofs, what they think is fun should be good enough for a legal standard.

Lemme see if I understand. Your gf has a best friend who talks shit about you. Your gf doesn't stand up for you to her gf. Your gf shares intimate relationship details with her without your consent. And she's still your gf. What am I missing?

I'm wondering if the avoiding talking about it is because of pride or because they don't want to relive it or bring back the memories.

I've been saying this for months. GPT in my mind stands for good propaganda tool. It's the same narratives but presented in a more authoritarian style as final word.

So it's like mansplaining about mansplaining?
/r/MensRights17/03/23 01:25 AM

An issue is that no demographic is a monolith. Among every race you'll find wide ranges of thought and cultures. The narrative breaks down almost immediately but many people still continue to live as if all blacks or all white are a certain way.

What if the "man" identifies as a woman?
/r/MensRights21/02/23 05:24 PM

Thank you. Men are always under suspicion when out with their children, sitting next to a woman or child on a plane... everywhere. It's horrible. Meanwhile the headlines are full of female teachers doing very bad things.

That there's a competition is crazy. And then they go further down the cursed rabbit hole. "Do white women have it easier?" Do cis women have it easier? Do blue eyed women have it easier? It never ends.

I had the same reaction when I saw her tweet. She's indisputably a hypocrite. Anyone who liked her "clap back" is likewise not a nice human being. She's got that smooth brain energy going on.

One article was literally posted to this sub recently. That's an indication of how much effort you put into men's rights.
/r/MensRights09/12/22 02:38 PM
15

Typical cop out. You aren't here in good faith and have no issues demeaning people, so I will not share any links with you. You're free to continue to believe that men's issues are superficial if you want.
/r/MensRights09/12/22 02:26 PM

Do your own research. I'm not supporting bad faith people.
/r/MensRights09/12/22 02:18 PM

A recent study shows a clear connection between being an "incel" and mental health issues such as severe depression. The label thus needs to be removed from flippant casual use like the r word.

It wouldn't be an amendment. More like the president declares "until the law is amended to define a woman and a man, I hereby order the draft board to modify its policies and processes that excludes any American of age".
/r/MensRights03/12/22 01:30 PM
18

If it doesn't define a woman in the text, I imagine the president could include women by executive order based on this technicality.
/r/MensRights03/12/22 01:22 PM
42

Does the current law exclude women? Or does it merely specify men?
/r/MensRights03/12/22 01:17 PM
4

I completely agree. Movies and other media present sharing emotions in a particular way that is closer to how women show their emotions. Men share their emotions all the time but differently. It's less verbal and more nuanced, and anyone who is close to a man will know when something is up.
/r/MensRights25/11/22 01:16 PM

To have a truer comparison, you would need to account for "a form of a beating" which can include anything from an evil glance, to being ignored, to being assaulted. I'm not saying that hurting people is not evil, but if they are going to overgeneralise then others can too.

Again? At this point it's becoming a definite possibility that Tate's followers are dropping his name for marketing and these posts are questionable about their being in good faith. The guy offers love and attention for money. For those who like him, great. I think he rambles and rants way too long after he's made his point. And after a few weeks of seeing his stuff there's not much more value to justify sending him money. IMHO.

I think they all have some value so long as young men are aware of the possibility of elevating a single person to god status because of a few good messages. No YouTuber or influencer should become a surrogate parent, and while there's nothing wrong with sending a few dollars their way to support their work, it's like an onlyfans girl who won't ever love them back. Enjoy the content, miss me with the cultic crap.

I thought he makes them feel valid until they can no longer afford to send money, then he ridicules them and puts them in his "jail"
/r/MensRights18/09/22 12:54 PM

I haven't noticed that. I think it's great if women want to sincerely learn more about men's experiences and concerns. But if true, there'll probably be a few people whose existence depends on the thought of men being toxic and will engage in whatever chicanery their own toxicity compels them to. We can't help those kinds of fragile people but we live in a society. Normal folks know that brigading is a childish and bannable activity.

It's odd that the government has costs for everything like food to keep you alive (SNAP), and you have to report bartering to the IRS with a fair value for your stuff or time, but no established cost for raising a child. Although they kind of do, with stipends or whatever for being a foster parent. IMHO child support should be calculated perhaps on the foster parent model with the addition of costs for certain lifestyle or religious adjustments. The sticky questions are what if a parent doesn't …

Talking about should, since there's usually no consent required for where they go, it may be out of the other person's budget for that moment. Therefore the one who asks and chooses where should pay. I personally believe that it should always be Dutch, this there's equal investment and equal permission to call it quits.

Which men's rights specifically are you asking about?
/r/MensRights27/12/21 01:56 AM

Thanks. It took me a moment to comprehend. I'm also getting old and getting over a fun weekend. Men are figuring it out. And while men don't typically form groups and clubs, word is getting around. The last thing we need is for men's rights to go mainstream and be coopted for profit, as you indicated.

I'm still forming my opinions, and I'm waiting to see toxic femininity defined at the same time. IMHO if there aren't two lists then I can't be sure that any behavior labeled as toxic isn't common to everyone.

Interesting perspective. The newness and knee jerk reactions in society of breaking down those barriers. I know many men who don't like to take control at work, who prefer being given direction. And I know women who hate being given direction. I'm at an advantage with understanding how women communicate which helps me cut through miscommunication barriers. I'm all for equality. I'm not for revenge, especially to those who had no hand in whatever happened to someone else.
/r/MensRights19/12/21 05:33 PM

I agree. People should be treated as individuals. And in all seriousness, I can't think of any privilege without resorting to biological ones. Men are now more depressed and suicidal, don't finish their education, and are pushed aside for hiring. What privileges do you see?

Sadly it's neither the first nor last time men are mocked and ridiculed by two-faced media. Amy Schumer joked about raping her drunk boyfriend and laughed at his whiskey dick. Jokes about buying big cars to compensate for a small penis by Hyundai aired without issue. There are tons more examples. All we as men can do is live with it. Progressives have a game they play. You know how kids used to play punch buggy? When someone saw a VW beetle they would punch the person next to them and say "punch buggy". Many people today have not matured mentally. So they kept the game but replaced buggy with trigger. They're always on guard for someone saying or thinking something the wrong way. Then the person virtually punches their progressive friend and says "I'm triggered". Men who experience misandry either don't connect the dots that…

For what it's worth, children will almost always figure things out in their late teens. What you need to do is keep a living scrap book of your child's childhood. You must be as plugged in to their kife as much as possible. When your child talks to you about their friends, you must know about the friends. You must know their favorite shows, foods, hobbies.

Take a step back and ask first why those words are negative. A redpill means a man who doesn't fall in to a traditional man does everything for the girl as portrayed in Hollywood of men falling over themselves to catch or keep a woman. Incel is someone who is involuntarily celibate, as if sex is the top measure of manhood. No person should ever lose themselves for another person like that, and sex really isn't that important of a measurement. In this sub, men vent and share about gender inequali…

Then that sub will be targeted for the same reasons. And invite only doesn't work for someone new to reddit. Sounds like you're a proponent of double standards. However, if you find a similar women's rights sub with those rules I'd love to learn how they moderate. Please let me know if you find any.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 10:34 PM

I disagree. I think your energy is better put to use taming the misandry. Then the anger will subside and not stoked anew. I'd love if you shared your progress every so often.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 10:29 PM

I think you'll get more buy-in once you tamed the misandry from the other subs so that there's no double standard. Why would anyone ban using double standards? Good luck with that quest.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 09:59 PM

I'm glad you admit that there's no equality, that misandry goes unchecked, and that men are singled out for expressing their emotions and feelings.

I hear you. Where should/could they vent? They are men who have been told to never share feelings or to man up, who think they finally found some place of being understood. There's no easy answer.

Which is great. However as long as feminists brigade a conference about male suicide, don't call out the bad feminists publicky, and don't help create the platform where both sides can talk without fear of cancelation or worse, it's gonna be tough. Once a platform is established, there will be a period of time for both sides to vent. Only then can we all move forward.

There are bosses and those who wear t-shirts that say so. Similar to what my dad taught me: if someone has to tell you they're X (religious, smart, etc), they're not.
/r/MensRights13/06/20 11:53 PM

Anyone who can like that awful sheep's wool cliche is also scary. I hope they end up also afraid of sheep and wool.

If they want to go through life always afraid of men, so be it.
/r/MensRights13/06/20 11:44 PM

They're seeking affirmation or else you're viewed as an enemy. Just say, yes, yes they matter.
/r/MensRights08/06/20 12:16 AM

What does that even mean?
/r/MensRights05/06/20 02:13 AM

Condoning violence and tolerating disrespect towards a parent because of a clothing choice disagreement

From what I learned from Minnesotan friends, the police union bosses are the ones pulling the strings there.

Does it really matter?
/r/MensRights03/06/20 04:48 AM

Seriously? Seminars on male suicide get protested and demonised.

People like me? You think my statement is not from decades of life experience?
/r/MensRights01/06/20 10:55 AM

I call it femsplaining-- you're arguments and opinions are stupid because they're different or unexpected.
/r/MensRights01/06/20 02:30 AM

Essay will probably be putting men down and calling their arguments stupid.
/r/MensRights01/06/20 01:48 AM

Idk. When I see an overt statement like "we care about dads" I automatically feel, no they don't. Tide, like the commercials with Jesse Teeters, present dads as kinda that's the way it is. I can't put my finger on it, but it feels as if the Dove for Men campaign is managed by someone who doesn't know men. Just a feeling, not a declaration of fact.
/r/MensRights30/05/20 04:06 AM
2

I like how Tide does it. Much more matter of fact without much emphasis that they're specifically targeting men.
/r/MensRights29/05/20 09:24 PM

I don't like Dove's message. Feels forced.
/r/MensRights29/05/20 09:21 PM

That's just a ridiculously stupid meme. Surveys of "most men" have not happened; and how can a man be a wife? Whoever thought this was cute or true has the mind of a toddler.
/r/MensRights26/05/20 03:49 AM

Too funny and ridiculous. Having a poll but limiting the responses.

A huuuge issue is that men and women communicate differently. Throwing facts or arguments may work with many men, but not with many women. Any discussion must account for: 1. Societal pressures 2. Peer pressure 3. That person's reputation in their peer group 4. A safe way out if they are incorrect 5. A safe way out if they are correct 6. A person to person connection

IMHO only weak willed men succumb to sexual prowess as you describe it. Other men either learn on their own not to play with fire because they got burnt, or they learn from watching someone else get burned.

British royals notwithstanding.

Sounds silly. This would mean that no Jews, Muslims, or Americans bond with their partners. Also, how many adult men can compare their experiences with and without a foreskin?

Yes. If you really have to go, just say you identify as a woman and problem solved.
/r/MensRights10/01/20 09:04 PM

It is. Factoring in wait times, it can be considered equal. Edit: I'm hoping that the downvotes aren't because of a knee jerk reaction. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/23881351/ Which will explain why one restroom isn't enough during busy times.
/r/MensRights10/01/20 08:58 PM
-62

Honestly this doesn't bother me. It's a known fact that women have longer wait times to use the restroom and physically have a tough time "holding it in" for long periods of time.
/r/MensRights10/01/20 08:55 PM

Yeah, this makes me wonder too, especially given the hashtag of bossbabe. As with everything else in this PC world, move to a synonym.

Good luck. As stated, don't hit back unless life or death. No one will believe you. Until you get video set up, audio can also do in a pinch. Like leaving yourself a long voicemail or old school tape recorder.
