Yeah I agree with your points, but a lot of this is stuff I'm already aware of and try to practice. Plus, I don't think society overall shares such a nuanced perspective like you. I don't view sex as all or nothing and I thought I expressed that I try to possess a level of sexual maturity. You were intially talking about how many men view sex, and I was simply offering some insight from my own observations and feelings, as to why many men might develop that line of thinking. Maybe you simply dis…

I think the reason why those stats show lesser adult daughters living at home, is because most are probably cohabiting in relationships or have roommates. Probably a lot of their partners are the bread winners too, even though I'm sure that's not the case across the board. Women probably have better support systems and socialization then men, that might also explain why those percentages are lower. Sure it might be rooted in the patriarchy, but I've still believe the "knight in shining armor" is…

Society is at a place where the mixed messaging is so thick. it's just overwhelming for a lot of people, especially men. A lot men probably fall victim to viewing sex as conquest, since male sexual ineptitude is humorous and vilified. We tell people to be themselves, but make movies like American Pie and the 40 Year Old Virgin. We say there's more to life than sex, but use the word incel as a diss, reinforcing the idea that a man's sexual frequency determines their worth as a human. Men see how …

Yeah I'm just curious why do people always seem to spew out the "entitled" part so reflexively and defensively when it comes to this topic? Any rational man knows that he's not entitled to sex, but the mere admittance of desire equals a "red flag" and you're hit with the "entitled" bullet. It's like if you shoot 100 free throws, and miss all 100, you'll probably feel a little frustrated. Imagine somebody coming along telling you "Do you think you're entitled to making a free throw?!" LOL! Seems …

Yet the media pushes this narrative that casual sex is like oxygen, and everybody's living like a Sex and the City episode lol it's like society is so hyper sexualized, yet we clutch pearls the next minute about sex. Is romance the prerequisite to sex? Or is that some 1800s shit? lol I'm exhausted and confused!

Fair enough, I was just referring to the term’s definition. I’ve had somebody accuse me of being an incel on here for merely challenging an opinion 😂 I guess societal pressures are damaging on both ends. I might have sexual desires but I actually enjoy doing fun non sexual activities too. Museums, restaurants, movies, etc. One night stands and sex with no degree of passion is something that never interested me, but then again I’m just one person. I think if more men could communicate to a woman …

I agree but the fact that the term incel is a diss in our society says a lot. Isn’t that sort of reaffirming that one’s self worth is tied to their sexual activity? Why do we have a movie like the 40 Year Old virgin? If male sexual ineptitude wasn’t humorous, maybe so many men wouldn’t develop these poisonous seeds of entitlement. If you care too much about sex, you’re a horny objectifying pig. If you check out all together, you’re a loser weirdo that’s defective. The inverse is what women go th…

I was at the park last year and this petite CrossFit lookin woman brought her pittie. Now the pittie was behaved but it was obvious if it took off running, she would have trouble reigning it in. On top that, she seemed really lax walking with it. At one point the dog walked up to a guy and it literally was sniffing his dick. At first I thought the guy was with her, but he wasn’t. He didn’t seem to care and seemed to be making conversation, probably wanting to get laid. I mean damn your fur beast…

I think an aspect nobody seems to analyze, is that maybe men prioritize and attach their self worth to sex so often because of how society views straight men that barely or never get it. Why else does a movie like the 40 Year Old Virgin exist? If the main character was a woman, would it still be considered as humorous, yet alone even be made? 😂😂 So society created this weird dynamic where you're craving and pursuing something that society expects you to get, but also demonizes you for wanting it…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
