I kinda missed this reply. For sure. Church was a huge part of our culture, and it's impact will last for some time still. Culture influences individual perspectives greatly. Catholicism, at least in context of internal affairs, was always a pacifying influence. That's good for civilization, at least until we evolutionarily adapt as species to much lower demand for violence.

I'll explain it in abstract way. If majority of women can be said to have trait A, while you are attracted to mutually exclusive trait B, and majority of women are attracted to trait P, it may well be that attraction to P is correlated with trait A and at worst B-women may be repulsed by display of trait P. So even if after multiple well designed studies we established that majority of women were attracted to men a bit on the aggressive side, it might turn out that if what you want is an intelle…

And thinking about someone we are interested in is bad, right? Because first, we are all super cool self reliant people with no emotions, only capacity for various ways to enjoy ourselves. Second, every girl in the world disrespects people who show interest, because this means they perceive her as a valuable person, and of course people are valued and ranked and if she is valuable enough for you, it means you're not valuable enough for her, because she outranks you. No, we wouldn't want that. Wh…

Generally, be yourself while being your best possible version. Pretty deep huh? Just kidding. But seriously. See chocholates are not gonna change anything either way. Not the chocolates. Her liking you for being who you are however... is based on her knowing who you are. So if you are the man that would make truffles for her, go ahead and do it. Try to think like a little child when you do things like that. You only make those truffles because you will be happy seeing her be happy and eating the…

You're vague. Are you implying I am a woman? Oh by the way you are still being soooo funny. You do realized you just reversed the feminist argument that men cannot say anything about women whatsoever for not being women. Now you say women can't say anything about approaching women because they are women. CLASSSIC ad personam. But the funniest part is how you are calling approaching women "catching fish" like women didn't want relationships and they were actively avoiding them. Good material.

Hey, just to satisfy my curiosity, and I am a straight male, could you send me a picture of yourself, preferably bare chest, so that I could see just how attractive a man has to be to have it like you do?

The problem with redpillers is that they are an asshole society generally. When assholes converge, they detract anyone who doesn't feel like dealing with assholes. Assholes enjoy verbal shitting on people and most people don't care much, but nobody really enjoys it. So once being a bit of an asshole becomes a thing, a whole community turns into assholes soon. Now, where am I going with this. Assholes, maybe of this variety specifically, don't realize their own shortcomings. So when women say the…

There is systemic problem with generalized approach. If you yourself are interested in a type of women where attraction pattern is significantly different, you will either end up with subjectively less desirable woman or just none at all.

Well, this actually is circular reasoning. When we get rid of the alphas, which is only logical, all we're left with is "once men are not needed, men are not needed". And non sequitur of - "if women don't need certain kind of men, this kind of men will cease to be".

Oh, now that I just started reading those and also part 1, I have this feeling that it's like in the early chapters of Capital by Marx. See, Marx first establishes that value in goods comes from effort spent by laborer. It's kind of metaphysics for him. Labor is measured in time. Anyway, he then addresses various problems with the idea, like fe. how technology makes labor more efficient. He writes that the time that is important is "socially useful work time". This basically means that he says, …

We're having a complex conversation. Ok, some women like this sort of bad boy. What I am trying to show is how it's paradoxical. They perceive them as having qualities that they by definition can't, as a group, have. Individual outliers maybe, but this is a paradox statistically speaking. And this may lead some to realize why mature women are not interested in this type. Once you realize that a superficial bad boy is completely not what they try to pass as, the magic is gone.

Well first of all, just like I don't believe in left wing and right wing, alpha and beta, so I do not really believe in red and blue as dichotomy. Red means something and blue barely means anything. Red people were sort of blue in that they believed in true love. That's almost universal story. It's just that they also universally had one or more personality problems stemming from, most often, egocentrism. Egocentrism can lead to many different personality problems that prevent one from having me…

Well that was more or less the case here too, but seriously, there is nothing I couldn't do if I planned it, fuck. I don't know, should I really conern myself with that anymore? It's been ten years. On principle? You know, to make them lose what they gained at my expense? Machiavelli said never to use half-means. If I am to fuck with someone, I need to do that to such extent, that they won't be able to ever hit me back. So I would need to fuck up their lives pretty bad or maybe anonymously. But …

By the way I happened to be victim of bullying from time to time. But I do not consider myself inferior. Actually, I believe I was natural target for bullies because I am their instinctive antagonist and they felt it just as I did. Only what my instinct told me to do was fuck them up badly, which current society kinda prevents. I think if it didn't they wouldn't be so well off, you know, with cut windpipes for example.

Please remember that I don't believe in the dichotomy in the first place. But obviously, let's say betas are men who do not rely on conflict primarily. So men who for whatever reason are more likely to cooperate. They may be weak, but not necessarily. Cooperative people get in conflicts too. It's just that if you assume there are only submissive and dominant men, the dynamic seems to be obvious. But no. There are also people who are neither selfish nor submissive. :) Like myself. So called "alphas" are men with a conflict based strategy of survival. Period. Define feminism. If you talk about the kind of liberal bullshit that gets most attention, it's not good for anyone women not excluded. Who gets most casual sex? Now that I think of it... Actually why alphas? In this utopian future no of their traits are of any value. All you need are physically healthy males that provide best genes for their daughters. Men would basically serve the same role they do in species like ants and bees. They don't need to be masculine anymore, actually their Y chromosome would only need to give them a working penis, otherwise they should be as close to a female as possible, or scenario 2, as low energetic as possible. Why do I hate alpha characteristics? Because how alpha is typically portrayed is actually a destructive being that could never build a civilization. As for your next two questions, please don't make me cringe any more, ok? I mean, we can discuss whatever you want, I enjoy discussions, but don't do it this way or I'll just forfeit.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/17 08:09 PM

Is your notion of alpha tied to testosterone levels? By the way I wouldn't want to be wrong on that one, but I think your idea of what it's like on the inside is based on popculture, not reality. Have you thought, that maybe, just maybe "Billy Beta" abides by most of law because they are moral creatures?

I don't presume, I empirically tested that. And I don't think you're mostly actual idiots. People I would tend to call idiots, yes, but I don't think you lack mental capabilities. I rather think you lack... let's use a blanket term - wisdom. Not intelligence, but wisdom. You don't like moralizing? Well, sorry to break it to you, but I am a moral person and I don't give a fuck. Morality is objective. It's not that I believe so. It's the truth. Not saying I know every right and wrong, far from it.…

There are some similarities, but it's more of a gypsy effect, if you allow me coining this term. It's when you know a bit about somebody that allows you to produce a long description of the person that is highly accurate. The problem being it is made up of statements that are relatively vague and it's no wonder you get "high" accuracy of, i don't know, 80%. So it's kinda like horoscope with a twist that you get to know 4 bits of information about a person. For example if someone tells you they s…

But do you realize that I deeply hate alpha characteristics, and if not for civilization, I would have killed a couple of those assholes already? Which one will it be then - am I just an alpha in denial, or is it that if a male is too alpha and tries to have it all, they get their skull bashed in by angry betas?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/17 07:49 PM

Well you know, it's not like I expect you to be open to hear a couple of critical observations that might hold for you... Especially because my idea here is that it's this aversion to self criticism is the root of evolution from pseudo-romantic stage to RP. Well, writing it all down is hassle anyway. It's hard to write whole reasoning concise, especially when I anticipate agressive criticism, so I'd better write it complete and sound... Damn. Anyway, as far as I understand, you're a woman right?…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/17 07:45 PM

The problem is not that they are completely wrong either, because it all partially works. Women have some tendencies, but it's all correlation, observer bias plays a huge role. Seriously, if you want to have some kind of relationship, following red pill advice carefully and attentively may be a way. But it's not gonna be a good relationship if you stick to the red pill way long term, and since it started the way it started... if you don't stick to it, it's not gonna last long.

What incentive do women have to keep betas around? I don't know. Let's entertain this silly idea for a second. I mean, of alphas and betas and such. Why are betas still in existence? My person belief is that they are cult like group that attracts several archetypes of people, ale of whom are out of touch with reality. As you can see, this makes considering their philosophy seriously somewhat of a thought experiment for me. I believe everything they come up with is not supposed to tell them any truth, but rather give a feeling of understanding without necessary discomfort of acknowledging some unpleasant truth that affect self image.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/17 05:09 PM

Well I don't see these bad boy guys as doing anything other than perpetuating this.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/17 05:07 PM

What I mean is, if they are the "get knocked down get up again" type, isn't it because they are not universally desired? I mean, I see a contradiction here. Either they keep on trying or they just win when they feel like. It can't be both. I mean, it can, but let's just settle this - are those bad boy guys scoring 90% of the girls they want to or not?

Yeah this part is actually somewhat founded in some credible science. But wasn't the whole idea that there are alpha males, a minority withing male population, and they have just the right set of traits, making them generally attractive? Isn't a woman attracted to low dominance man more than high dominance basically disproving that? Because this man is definitely not alpha, if he is less dominant than those high dominant guys.

Doesn't that mean that they are actually less attractive than it would seem from naive analysis of empirical evidence? After all what you just said means they are mature about approaching women. That is, they do not let their insecurities prevent them from trying to reach their goals. That would mean they would be overrepresented in a group of people who actually get into relationships or have casual sex, because they try more. So even if they get rejected all the time, they will have inifinitel…

I don't need to tell me it's "not worth it" to be friends with them. I would probably either vomit or die laughing in their company. Of course we're talking of stereotypes, when actually some of those guys can be quite interesting to know. I can imagine that. But in general, no. lol.

A grain of truth shines here. It's not about being a bad boy, it's about being powerful. Basically a lot of men have no power and that is a real turn off in my opinion. But depending on a woman, they value excess power more or less, and this is where actual personality comes in with all the flavors. A woman may be madly in love with a man who is devoted to say ancient rome with it's history, poetry and philosophy. That man usually needs to have be confident. He may be an ancient rome nerd who pr…

I have narcissistic tendencies and some narcissism resembling personality problems, but to call me a narcissist would be more of a lie than truth, so let's just say I am not one. I could have some information mixed up because I was interested in mbti and socionics about 10 years ago. In socionics the type was fixed completely and discreteness of dichotomies was emphasized. In mbti, continuity of dichotomies was acknowledged, but I was pretty sure they also said that you can't change your persona…

It's because the "bad boy" - the outlaw, the miscreant, the gangsta, the player, the cad, the Harley rider, the drug dealer - is masculine. Yes and no. You seem to imply that this is what most people would imagine if you asked them what the adjective masculine makes them think of. And that wouldn't be true. What I mean is that you should not always choose personal or offsprings' survival over other values. Not even if you don't believe in higher ideals. Even if you're purely materialistic, group loyalty is actually necessary for survival long term, and group loyalty is only worth as much as adversaries believe in it. So in the long term it's only worth as much as it really exists and manifests itself. So if everyone always chose themselves over the collective they belong to, they would all, as a gr…

I mean, one thing that using arguments like "this is natural" shows they don't really care about the discussions being meaningful, but it also means they care about them appearing to be. It puzzles me. Are they all just idiots or am I missing out on something?

But what you said, what does it even mean. By this logic we cannot judge anything at all. No, we have to answer questions like - why do people get into relationships, what's the good reason to do it, what is the direction a relationship should go to be meaningful and what are applicable means, how to make it work like intended. Relationship is about connection and this means you should care about the other person because you care about the other person, not because you feel the need to be needed…

Well postmodernism is a trend in culture, that shapes us, and it's postmodernist to say things like "who are we to say who's dysfunctional". Postmodernism is about deconstructing and removing objective references. Well, this is not an argument, I still say what I say, it still stands. It's just that in postmodern world a phrase like that passes as a valid counterargument. Well, I do judge if people are happy and what they;re doing leads anywhere and for me what you're talking about is a relation…

You did have sex with him in the evening right? And what he was doing could have been kinky for many women and they would enjoy it. In my opinion he did you no harm. He did nothing to you that you did no consent to earlier, so he had the right to try to be intimate with you without explicit consent again and when you said "no" he stopped immediately. While legally he may have been in the wrong, unless there are some important details you did not provide, I would think very bad of you for pressin…

I am not denying I have some problems. But I'll tell you two stories that I can't decide wether they are frustrating or funny. First, I was beaten up once in a night bus. So years later I met a guy from childhood in the night bus and he bumps into me, probably intentionally unless he was heavily drunk which he did not seem to be. Then he makes eye contact, stares at me, I change seats so I don't see him, then he changes seats and again I see his face and he stares at me from a distance of one me…

Well, go ahead and ask me something, maybe it'll be helpful for me. I am a complicated person, at least as the next guy with high iq, maybe more, so I can't tell you everything about myself briefly. Not trying to hide anything though. edit: and yeah, me learning anything mathematical for school (not at school) was at about 10th grade, because they introduced functions, a concept that I did not happen to learn about prior. I also had this problem with not showing enough work and that was pretty f…

Well sorry, it's just that about 95% of people like to jump on an intelligent person that blames anybody anything. Or any person that publicly acknowledges being intelligent. So I am biased to expect malice whenever I "come out of the closet". I believe in putting effort and shaping your own life. Doesn't mean I don't also believe society fucked up my life more than I did myself.

Well, I've been through countless discussions like this one and it saddens me because I realize there are many, many others just like me and the general public just has no sympathy, no mercy on us. It's not gonna change easily, when people care about everything more than this. Actually I think a lot of people derive satisfaction from "justice" done to "smartasses" around them. After all it's equal treatment and anyone who has anything against it is just an ungrateful kid. So let's see, I could h…

Assuming your good intentions, I'll give you a concise answer first: have you ever played an rpg? Intelligence is not the only statistic there. If you were to make a really sophisticated and realistic character creation system for an rpg, would you have a mechanic that says "if a characters iq is above 150, they automatically succeed at everything, either directly or by automatically finding a way to bypass the problem"? Would that seem like real life? If so, how come there's so many genius leve…

Take a deep breath and tell me what's your problem with me saying that I am very smart. I mean, tough luck if you hope I care, but let me just try to guide your attention to it - it's normal for some people to be very smart. In general population someone has to be.

Still vague. I have 150 IQ. What's ethical - put me in the same classroom as other children and make me waste that away? Or organize special program for children like me that will cost premium (but also pay off much better when they grow up to be high value specialists)? Which one of these is equal opportunity? You do realize that I feel broken because of being treated equal? I feel like I've been done a lot of damage and am worse off than my past classmates, because I couldn't deal with what ha…

Sure, I might give it a try. See, you're making an assumption that whichever group controls the other is by definition (or otherwise, hard to tell) stronger, more independent. Why, yes. If we're talking about a group as a whole and about practical understanding of the term. Does it say anything about what the individuals are in general, outside the context? Does it mean that this situation is the only natural? Wow wow wow, top lol. See, up until recently it was really important to be physically …

Dozens of more important, less gender-related traits are much more important.

But I see a trap in there, fe. when you write about progress photos. They aren't bad I suppose, but watch out for self love. Your mental ability and physical progress will mean nothing if you allow spiritual destruction. It's more or less the same trench warfare as all else. Actually the problem is that you are incapable of seeking the problem within you. You reject any line of reasoning that could point to your own immaturity or other problem, because that hurts your ego. You'll rather believe that women in general don't seek the kind of man that you believe yourself to be and also believe to be valuable in some fundamental way, than that you're missing out on something crucial and are not really the person you see yourself as.
