4	Do men prefer women without much of a sexually promiscuous past? You say it “shouldn’t” matter. Well, it doesn’t matter if it should or shouldn’t, what matters is that it does. Women with high body counts have been shown in studies to be less likely to pair bond. And evolutionarily men know that it is unlikely for the child to be theirs if a women has had many sexual partners.
