it could be past experience it how it affected his mindset through the day or that it takes a lot of physical work for him… if you wanna be intimate in the and he doesn’t, don’t ask for pleasure, give it (:

It is very much about an individual woman. If you marry someone who will try to rape you of your financial success if the marriage ends, you got with a shallow woman… People that trust the respect and admiration coming from their partner know if they divorce they will still support each other In a relationship I focus on character, not at all on how laws can protect me. I don’t care to get the state involved in my personal relationships which is why I’ll never marry the conventional way

If you’re asking if yall should break up, I think the same problems will occur with a new partner. Your insecurities are yours to overcome

Accepting things you don’t like is very healthy but settling is not. I don’t settle for things I don’t like. I hold my partner accountable and I hold myself accountable. You have stated you have insecurities and those thoughts and feelings are muddying the truth and reality of your situation. Keep in my mind your partner might actually have things that need to change but you NEED to put that aside and focus on helping yourself. Your partner is not in charge of your self esteem.

That’s not true. Maybe it feels good to spread negative opinions like it’s fact because thats what you experience in your own life? Settling long term for something that you don’t like is not a solution, it’s a conscious choice to be unhappy

I am challenged with the confidante. My guy makes such good choices I struggle with feeling like I have something to offer in support on this.

And time after time of the woman not enjoying it leads to her losing that sexual desire for her partner

I think the low libido excuse is bull donkey for most. Hormone levels are highly sensitive to food, stress, etc. sexual tension can be fine tuned with nearly every couple if both parties are actively seeking ways to improve it. Love and marriage is hard work! You are here for help and it frustrates me that you don’t seem to be getting that….. You guys never had sex before marriage and maybe there is resentment on his side from that, which is putting a block in his flow of sexual energy towards y…

If you feel lonely when you withdraw, find god in some form. You need to know you are not alone. You don’t need him. If you want him to change. He needs to learn accountability. He seems to take you for granted. I broke up with my ex and he changed A LOT and we eventually worked it out. I’m not saying divorce or threaten it but tell him. “ you’re behavior is unacceptable and until you’re willing to face this truth and stop denying you have a problem I’m not going to engage with you.” Pull away f…

Assuming guys don’t want to hear is okay but shouldn’t be taken as truth. My partner and I are totally honest which to us means all details. I’ve come to learn people have different ideas of honesty and truth so maybe ask instead

Get on with the program or not does not sound like a partnership to me, it sounds like a dictatorship. I’m not saying you’re wrong just giving insight on my mindset. We broke up because he was verbally abusive when he drank/ didnt have the self control to stop at one or two drinks, and he was the sole provider at the time and he was spending all the money, lots of impulse purchases, wasn’t saving for us to get our own place. At the time our child just turned one and I was living with my parents

He questions my intellect. I’ve been wrong about things and in many ways he is better at gauging situations. This fact has caused him to overlook my feelings and opinions to the point that I firmly see he questions my own character and doesn’t trust me to make good choices. Yesterday he told me I was the sole reason we were struggling. Things like that only solidify the feeling that he puts himself over me. I’ll give you an example here… our child was fighting him while he was trying to put his …

It means a balance where we both feel satisfied. We broke up last year and since we got back together I’ve been working hard to show that Im in this wholly. I quit my job so he could work full time. We question each other a lot. It lacks trust and respect
