That's messed - Imagine that boy knowing he's a father at that age.

There are sound medical reasons for knowing your genetic heritage. Paternity tests should be routine.

After my divorce I got a pet cat which my ex would have absolutely hated. I also splurged on a few small luxuries she would never have approved of.

Since I am Scottish by ancestry I demand the right to wear a kilt in the traditional regimental fashion.

One thing I find weird: You aren't supposed to ask any questions about your partner's past, but nobody would hire an employee without checking references and background. 🙂. Yet which is the greatest commitment?

Yes, she is opposing his efforts to have the kids vaccinated. "A divorced Toronto dad has just won a slim victory in his ongoing battle with his ex-wife over her refusal to vaccinate their two children."

Women like this need a giant red flag on dating sites so men can stay the hell away. False criminal charges are not funny.

I think Legions are becoming more generally open now. All the WW2 veterans are dying off, so they must either close down or open up.

I know, it's just a tongue in cheek response to the popular myth. But it's interesting to see how various religions try to square the circle.

New testament gold: 1 Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet" Good for shutting up bible thumping ladies.

So how would martyrs get 72 virgins if most of the women are in Hell? LOL Somebody's not getting laid in their afterlife big time.

Job's ego actually killed him. He decided to forgo cancer treatment for some BS magical treatments like acupuncture and dietary supplements, until he was too far gone to be saved. http://www.forbes.com/sites/alicegwalton/2011/10/24/steve-jobs-cancer-treatment-regrets/

Due process and a fair trial isn't a privilege. It's a fundamental human right. Especially when one is charged with a serious criminal act.

The problem is feminism can mean many things depending on who you ask. Anything from true equality (which I 100% support) to extremists advocating the complete subjegation of men, which I certainly do not. The example you gave is a woman who tends to the latter end of the spectrum, and is a textbook example of why you don't have to be a man to be a mysogynist.

Ideally there should no conflict between them if we are all equal.

The only thing atheists have in common is a disbelief in any god or god(s). That is all. The A+ movement tried to hang a lot of radical feminist and political baggage on it, but the overwhelming majority (including most of the prominent women I follow on twitter) panned them.

No, but he told her to stop whining after she whined about a guy allegedly hitting on her in an elevator during a conference, pointing out that compared to women in places like Saudi, she has little to complain about. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2011/07/richard-dawkins-draws-feminist-wrath-over-sexual-harassment-comments/39637/

It ain't so. Richard Dawkins and many others haven't caved in to political correctness. There has been a widely rebuffed attempt to subvert atheism by the A+ movement. See http://www.reddit.com/r/AgainstAtheismPlus Rebecca Watson is a small mind with a victim complex attempting to bring great minds down.

Stare right back at them, maybe give them a little wave so you know what they are doing. Make them feel uncomfortable for a change.

It links to this article as well, which suggests assassination as a means of eliminating an unwanted boyfriend, and includes stats on probability of success with various weapons.

Update: just saw this article on how to get rid of your boyfriend, and it's even more controversial. Advocates hiring an assassin, discusses chancel of successfully killing him with a particular type of weapon.

They didn’t call me Dad. They called me by my first name. They are confused, and angry. Sounds like a very probable case of this: http://www.fact.on.ca/Info/pas/walsh99.htm

An entitled woman like that is the last one you would ever want to have a relationship with. It cost me north of $100K to fix that mistake when I made it, never, ever again.

Most of the stories seem to play up the class divisions rather than the gender division.

They shouldn't have to swim. They should have been first in the lifeboats. And since they weigh less than an adult, the boats could carry more of them. What I was pointing out with this is the so-called "male privilege" that people tend to bring up has a very serious downside to it.

Here is a good template for a forced, unwilling apology, by somebody who was ordered to make one, but didn't bother to write the script. It is from a science fiction show, one of my favourite scenes: Video

I don't know if it is ready yet, but I think the only way out of this is for guys to take control of their own reproduction.

I heard with one kind they put a plug in instead of cutting the tubes. The success rate at restitching them back is also getting better. http://vasectomy-reversals.com/reversible_vasectomy.html http://medgadget.com/2011/04/reversible_vasectomy_kills_sperm_prevents_backups.html http://www.vasectomyreversalusa.com/vasectomy-reversal-guide/vasectomy-reversible.html

I guess the moral of the story is to never trust a woman who may be wanting a child to look after the birth control. If you have even the slightest doubt in her, get a vasectomy (there are reversible kinds) so you are in the clear.

Sometimes it is hard to walk away - maybe she gave him a good sob story and promised it would never happen again. Some guys have to get hit multiple times before they realize the other person will never change and they are being played for a sucker.

I wonder if he can take the court order to a collection agency or a local sheriff and have a lien put on any property she owns, and have whatever other assets seized. When my ex refused to pay, she eventually had her wages garnished.

There is a very large fallacy regarding Xtian fundies and divorce that needs to be pointed out: http://atheism.about.com/od/atheistfamiliesmarriage/a/AtheistsDivorce.htm If you want to stay married, find yourself an atheist or Catholic.

My ex-wife pays child support, but resented the hell out of it. It's still a pittance compared to what she took from me in the divorce settlement, (most of my retirement savings) and of course spent the lot of it in no time.

She said: 'I don't believe I have done anything wrong. It was getting later and later for me and I wanted to have a child.' It's getting later and later for me, and I really wanted to have a million dollars. So your honor, that is why I robbed the bank. It worked for her...

I was married to a deadbeat mom, trust me - they exist. She is now getting her wages garnished for child support, because she made every excuse in the book not to pay for nearly a full year.
