iirc around a quarter of all kids are single parent in the us. let's just assume that every one of these kids lives with their mum, the math is much simpler and it's within rounding error anyways. that yields 4/7ths of parents being mothers which is 57% and 43% are fathers. so when you adjust for that, the ratio is 54/57 to 45/43, which is a 48-52 split with fathers being only marginally more responsible. I'm not entirely sure if this falls within the margin of error but it's in the territory wh…

In this paper which often is quoted to claim an 8% false rape allegation rate, there is also a really prominent result that a further 13.9% of cases are never proven (insufficient information) and another 45% do not proceed. that is a 65% innocent rate (using the innocent until proven guilty standard), which immediately discredits the idea that "guilty until proven innocent" should even be considered. do note that not all of the 35% even are guilty convictions, those are just prosecutions. ultim…

firstly, what are you talking about? secondly, if there's a patriarchy why are men treated as disposable beings who are only useful in a society if they can either die fighting pointless wars or be rich enough to support a family? why is it that reports of accidents emphasise "women and children being injured/killed", especially women? isn't the loss of human life already tragic on its own, and doesn't it reflect badly on society that there is this implicit assumption men are disposable and wome…

for anyone who gets in a bit of a debate with feminists on this issue, maybe here's an article that you could quote. it's a pretty robust experiment so it wouldn't be easy to disprove.

if you're taking the "innocent until proven guilty" standard, the same paper feminists use to cite "8% false allegation rate" states that the "no evidence" + "proven false" rate goes up to 65%, and that doesn't even include innocent verdicts in court. of course some of those may be wrongful acquittals but I'm willing to believe that the number may be somewhat higher than half.

this was actually already known since the initial outbreak in China I think, the stats there were clearly skewed towards 60+ males.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
