Yeah, I think that's pretty fair assessment. Personally I feel that politicians and large industrial enterprises have far more of an impact on our stability and free time. The general system we work in does very much seem designed for maximum working output for all without very much care for the impact on workers.

How do you mean? I'm struggling to see how a small number of younger ladies chasing high profile men is directly impacting on work and other responsibilities.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I'm genuinely I terested to get some views. Why is male loneliness epidemic the fault of women and dating? Friends, family, hobbies and social interaction are balms for loneliness. I'm married with kids, have a wonderful wife who I adore and is a great partner and mother. Yet I still get lonely at times. Work, wife, kids, job. All are big time consumers, then try and fit in gym, housework, DIY. Doesn't leave me much time for my friends and hobbies, not as m…

I agree with all yours points whole heartedly, I am very much the same and sometimes hope you give some views or advice that might balance things to a more central viewpoint. Ambivalence is an underrated standpoint. More importantly however... prawn cocktail discos are superior to the chemical mouth dissolvers known as salt and vinegar discos...

Been with younger woman, married a woman 10 years older. Far more emotionally mature, better communicator and a hell of alot less drama in my personal experience. Not to say all younger women are this way, but in my own personal dating experience they are alot more self centric and demanding where as older women are alot more balanced, fun and caring.

Thank you. It works really well. The love, communication and empathy has got us through some tough times but stronger than ever for it.

My wife sometimes refers to herself as a side kick or wilfully submissive in our relationship. She leaves me to make 90% of the general decisions or solve problems etc. The other 10% of the time we will switch roles when it's a situation she has more experience, personal feelings or interest towards or such. It works well with one leading and the other following/advising. I think people these days seem to confuse submissive followship with subservience which is completely different.

Having been in the circumstances of next to no sex while in love (wife had health issues after our second child) I can confirm that the impact on the relationship and my mental health was definitely noticeable to negative effect.

I suppose in a very misguided way you are in a ballpark within the county lines... I think the typical men you are referring to don't want to have power over women at its core. My personal view is alot of them just want to feel empowered. It just so happens that the current flavour is women, and they have more than ever before so are am obvious focal point as they are on the up and these men are on the way down from a percieved social pedastal that for them never actually happened. Previously it…

I found one as have most of my closer friends, all now married or in long term relationships. We are all in our late 30's now but if the internet forums are to be believed, the younger blokes out there are definately in a very different dating market. Dating apps and such weren't really a big thing in my earlier years. I feel for those lads genuinely if even 10% of the stuff I see on here is true.

I'm fortunate that I have both however I would say it's easier to work out if you have a good job much earlier then you can figure if she is a hood woman. However when you have a good woman, she will be irreplaceable compared to a good job.

Find a woman who is mature in herself enough to understand you have emotions and willing to listen. You can be a provider and protector while still having challenges emotionally to overcome. I'm fortunate that my wife, though a very anxious woman with her own worries at times also understands that, though I'm the more resilient in the relationship, I'm not an iron wall and sometimes I need to talk about what is bugging me. I'm sorry so many brothers out there have been let down with their partne…

I dont think the majority of men or women understand the other without alot of time, experience and communication around the opposite sex. The wealth of studies out there demonstrate that the male and female brain processes information and communication in quite different ways. Men often say women are overly complicated but personally I found that it was because they communicate differently, vice versa for men and the usual "men are aggressive, only think about sex etc." It's just a lack of unde…

I hope the very best for you that you never have to experience it, even once in later stage pregnancy. Best of luck and love for you in your journey.

It is true that they have fertility remaining yes but the challenges even when you get pregnant drastically increase. My wife had her first (separate relationship) when she was 18 accidentally. Fast forward and during her late 30s she had 2 more with myself. Along that road between the 2 pregnancies however she had 3 miscarriages, a number of health challenges in the pregnancies and our second together triggered her into perimenopause straight after her hormones came back from pregnancy levels. …

7 years into my marraige... my wife made the mistake of asking me about my hobby for the first time. Poor woman had an hour of me explaining it in detail but bless her, she listened to it all none the less. And before people jump on this as a critique backer that it's a one way street... My wife loves crochet, so I spent 6 hours crocheting with her to understand a bit more about it. What I produced was something between a spiders Web and bowl of spaghetti but it was fun to understand a bit more …

This may put a cat amongst the pigeons but generally I prefer my wife to have the power in the relationship. I am the main decision maker in our house hold but value my wife's council. She trusts me to make the majority of all our calls however, when she feels I'm off target or has intuition beyond my scope, she will out right veto my call no questions asked. 99% she has nailed the call too. The abuse thing, I wasn't clear if you are stating the men are abused or the women so apologies if I go t…

I just think it's become trendy to have labels as an identity for the younger generations and yes, im some cases it beco.es their core self identification system in place of a true personality or identity. Plus the whole way people talk in monoliths now is just bizarre. All women are this and why are all men that. Would love to know who is running reviews with a 4 billion person sample size...

I have always felt a keen distinction between having sex with a women and making love to a women. Physically just about the same thing however sex tends to ease one's sexual desires and possibly stroke an ego or too I have no doubt. Making love to a women you have deeper feelings for, having her trust you and engage with you on such a raw physical level and the huge hormone dump of serotonin and oxytocin... have frequent, loving and fun sex with your partner as a man is an important factor in mo…

I truly dont get this whole settling mentality... If you are chosing to be with someone because you have deeper feelings for them, that's a wonderful achievement. Instead of spending so much time trying to brain wash people into searching for things social media says they should desire, why are we not teaching our young adults a greater sense of self and personal values so they can search out people that will truly make them happy. This whole rule of 6 stupidity must be as damaging to ling term …

I have one step child and 2 biological and got approved for adoption along the way. My legacy is how happy, balanced and well adjusted my kids are when they grow to adults. That's the only legacy that interests me. I always wanted kids from a young age and have 0 regrets.

That's interesting statistics. I did have a rummage on those pages but sadly couldn't find an equivalent for male educational attainment as it would have been very interesting. Especially on the original point of females filtering a species. Thanks for sharing, that has been a really interesting and educational thread discussion.

Yeah, I agree in principle as terrifying as that is. I think the film idiocracy did a great satirical job of showing how that ends up.

And yet....look around you are at the women and men that are breeding. General data shows that 'elite' genepool breed less prolifically than your 'mutants'.... so women aren't doing a very good job if your theory holds water.
