This is affirmative action and it sucks. Admissions should be the same for everyone. It's just as wrong if it advantages women. You can't support affirmative action one way but not the other.

The main reason more men are not working in those sectors is the pay was too low. The long term effect will likely be more men in the sectors. The notion of female dominated, or male dominated sectors is itself kind of preposterous. The social phenomena is men are more likely than women to choose careers based on salary. Men and women are both just as free to enter into these sectors (with some exceptions such as jobs involving kids for men).

What is she studying? Are there no jobs in that field? Does she have a realistic plan that will lead to finding work? If it's a dead end field, than she is either delusional or dishonest.

CNN is not a person, it is a company, and not a very ethical one at that. In our culture, children are unfortunately seen as property, to be used for political and ideological reasons. Too many children are robbed of their childhood by overbearing parents, and this is just one example.

People can do whatever they want with their own money, including spend it in a sexist manner. You can't trample on that right.

As long as they aren't receiving tax dollars who cares? As long as nobody is forced to donate to them. They are a sexist organization, and anyone who donates to them is probably a sexist -- but it's their money to do what they want with.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
