Boy scouts are a very necessary gathering for boys to learn real world skills and have fun learning with their peers - it doesn't make sense to advocate for girls to join as it would hinder the tenets of the scouts, and there's already the girl scouts for them. Albeit, the girl scouts could really use a tune up on their curriculum. Riding horses and making ornaments and candy was really not my thing.
