Also, without more details, attraction may be part of your problem. Chicks show the most respect for people they are attracted to, and the least respect for those they don't care about. Don't get butthurt because she lied to you. Girls do that. You can't fix her. The only person you can work on is you. If you dump every girl that lies, you won't have any left. You have to learn new strategies. Figure out how to win her respect. You don't get it automatically.

One approach I read was to start documenting or journaling your interactions with people, before and after they happen. For example, before you go order a sandwich, write down your thoughts, your fears, worst case scenerio, etc... After you go order your sandwich, write down what really happened (most likely it wasn't too painful). The more pages you write about this, the more evidence you have that there really is nothing to be afraid of. As for meeting people, check out local subreddits, check…

Read up on the laws in your state about how to file a complaint against the judge. Its better to have this knowledge before going to court because you can threaten mention you know this procedure if he says something like he doesn't have time for your evidence. In my precinct we schedule x amount of hours with the judge, is it different there?

Agreed, I'm just saying it should be presented better. Until recently, women were not even allowed in combat.

I agree, but since the percentage of men to women in the military isn't part of the equations they are presenting, such an obvious oversight, it detracts credibility from the whole page imo.

I think the combat numbers might be a little propagandaish when you take into account that in the military men outnumber women by a large margin. I almost didn't want to read the rest of the page, but I'm glad I did.

It seems to me the there are two seperate issues that are getting confused. Issue #1: Rape. Rape is a horrible crime that no one should have to endure. Issue #2: False Allegation of Rape. These false allegations can destroy a man's life, get him fired, physically abused, prison time, listed as a sex offender, etc... even though he didn't rape anyone. Many of these things happen even if the case is thrown out. The OP is just confused why Issue #2 doesn't seem to be important to feminists who clai…

If this was done in the U.S. I think it would fall under the fair use law. I believe Canada has a similar law. Copyright is generally used so that others don't make money by copying someone else's work. No one is making money from these posters that I know of.

Not really a men's rights issue but I'll comment anyway. I've read some studies that show that women cheat more then men do. It's silly to think that all men or all women cheat, but whatever.

I work in a construction company. We only have a couple of women that work here. I am very careful when talking to them so that I don't offend them. I'm just wondering if this is a good thing? If women want to be equal, shouldn't men be able to treat them like equals? I'm not trying to be derogatory in any way so please don't take it that way, it's a serious question. I told a woman in another thread, when she seemed to be getting quite emotional about the discussion, "there is no need to throw …

I was going to ignore this, but I really have to ask. Most guys I know trash talk each other a little bit. It's all in fun, but often has serious undertones to help each other by calling us out on our shit so we can get better. I told that guy that there was no need to have a temper tantrum because he wasn't using his brain in that situation. He realized this and changed his attitude. I've come to notice that women don't do this. So my question is this. Should women get special treatment? Should…

Haha, confidence and resources are alot more attractive to many women then physical looks. I realized this when I had a female roomate who thought Steven Tyler was a dreamboat. Haha, the man looks like a monkey. I had a young niece who thought Sean Connery is attractive, the man is old enough to be her grandfather. I was a pretty cocky kid. Oh, that's strange, because I've seen numerous posts on the front page of /r/MensRights saying that it's bad to fantasize about beating up your boyfriend. I guess fantasizing about slitting a woman's throat because she doesn't like her sex life is okay though. I don't see it as sexist because it isn't. The article is a story about how a guy went from a place of misery to a much better place. Some people in this thread, such as yourself, are trying to find little parts of it to twist into some sort of sexism but I'm sorry, your false conclusions just don't hold water. Good point. I'm not sure why it was created, I can see positives and negatives. One issue between women and men is that they often communicate differently. I think women often don't understand men and vs vs. This might be a good faith effort on a woman's part to communicate clearly what she wants and what she doesn't. Yes it's common sense, but at least she made an effort. I think that sometimes people (such as women) have insecurities and often misunderstand the intentions of other people (such…

As I explained before, boys are taught violent thoughts from a very young age. There is a whole genre of movies dedicated to violence, they're called action movies and they are very popular especially with men. fantasizing about beating women and slitting their throats is unacceptable Actually it's perfectly acceptable. The key word is fantasizing. And don't worry, most people fantasize about beating up and killing other men too. That's why there are action movies and they give little boys toy soldiers. The writer didn't do anything to bully anyone. The story was about his misery and how he got out of it. Fantasies and thoughts don't hurt anyone. You've probably had a murderous thought or two yourself at some point in your life, but let me guess "that's different."

I see both sides of it. I agree, he is wrong to generalize all women think that way. He might also be misplacing the blame onto the women in the story, certainly the writer should not have looked to women to teach him how to be a man. Ok, so question for you, why do you think the person you were replying to feels that way about women? Why does he feel so paranoid about their intentions? If it isn't obvious, it's probably because he's been hurt badly by one or more women. I would like to remind y…

WTF, why is this being downvoted? Because she was rudely laughing at someone who was miserable. Nobody likes a bully who laughs at peoples misery. You are entitled to your opinion about what is "fucked up" but I think you missed some of the point. He was being told that women find nice guys attractive while these same women were not attracted to that. He wasn't faulting them for wanting casual sex, he was faulting them for misleading him. He wanted casual sex and more all along.

You are being downvoted because many guys relate to this story. Then you come along and say: This article is hilarious. People have rage fantasies, that doesn't make them bad or violent people. Yes he may be a little hypocritical or not completely understand biology, but that doesn't make his suffering any less real. The bottom line is you are laughing at someones misery and nobody likes that. If you don't want downvotes, I suggest you try to be a little more understanding and empathetic.

You are probably a troll but I'll explain it to you one more time. Nobody is expecting his women friends to have sex with him. They are pissed that his mom, his teachers, and his women friends all gave him shitty advice. The only problem with their argument is they think that women purposely gave him this shitty advice. They probably didn't. The OP made the mistake of asking women to teach him how to be a man that women wanted. Women don't really know how to make a man act like a man so probably…

I've been wondering lately if the MRA is approaching feminism in a way that helps, or if they are doing more harm then good. Most MRAs do not hate women and actually support the original goals of feminism which were to make men and women equal and support women's social issues, etc. I think that most people who call themselves feminists generally think it means they support those original goals. The woman didn't even know that what she did was wrong or illegal. This is a scary and dangerous trend that needs to be stopped. I think women counselors are actually better when a woman is causing more of the issues. Professional woman counselors will call a woman on her bs much more easily, and it will also have a greater impact on her than if a man counselor did. As a sidenote, women counselors may not have such an easy time addressing the man's faults because they don't understand men as well as they understand other women. Just my $.02

After reading your sexism story a few times, you are a brilliant writer and storyteller but something just didn't ring true.
