/r/Meditation I'm not even kidding. It has made all the difference in the world for me.

I'm still fairly new, but this seems like the right answer from my limited experience. All the gimmicky, playbook-style tactics in the world won't help you on the field if the players never spend time in the weight room.

This seems on the same level as girls stuffing their bra. At some point, the truth will come out, and it would invariably be hard and/or awkward to explain. I know too many short dudes that are incredible with women to think that your height is as big of a deal as you're making it.

Hey man, if this shit were easy, then everyone would do it. Relish in the fact that you're still ahead of most men, and at least you're smart enough to see the big picture now. Strong work.

What were the circumstances that led up to the email? Did you suddenly stop communicating with her or something? Just asking because I'm still learning.

Also a beginner - why do you say not mentioning TRP anywhere in a public forum?

I'm new to TRP and have a question: How big is too big? And what kind of timeframes are you guys thinking of when you say that you wouldn't tolerate weight gain? I assume there is not a community standard across all men, so I am really looking for individual context.

How long are you waiting to ask these girls out from the first time you meet them?

Her choice to cheat (or not) will be for her to decide, not you. There is nothing you can do to stop it if that is what she truly wants. Attempting to proactively stop her is just going to make her coworkers look better to her, and you will look like an AFC. Treat this as a wakeup call for you to get your shit together now because it sounds like your insecurity was going to fuck your relationship up irregardless of her cheating. I would stop everything right now, put a little distance in between…

You're forgetting to punch her in the mouth. Letting her off wayyyyy too easy. You: So, I've had a nice time tonight Her: Me too! giggles You: [eyes] left eye, right eye, mouth, left, right, mouth, mouth Her: Deep breath, closes eyes, leans in You: KAKAWWWWWWWWWUH

I won't claim to have a definitive answer, but I will tell you what I came up with for myself regarding a similar scenario. My conclusion was that I would be putting too much emphasis in one person if it meant spending valuable energy chatting them up over text instead of someone else who was around me and currently available. I still text with this person every now and then and remind her of some semi-serious long-term plans we joked about in person, but we don't talk much other than that. For …

Do you feel genuinely attracted to the girls with whom you're speaking? Also curious whether you frequently masturbate? I've noticed a direct correlation with my sexual energy around women and the frequency of my masturbation: When I don't do it (including looking at any porn) my sexual energy around women is much higher; if I binge on it during the day and then go out at night, I almost always have weird/unsatisfying conversation. It's almost as if all the mechanics of pickup just flow out of m…

That's because many guys are are trying to peel themselves away from needy behavior, as with the example of actively looking for opportunities to complement a woman tied to the hope that she will reciprocate.

That's an interesting take on it – that the attraction isn't gone forever given enough time. I'm sure it depends on the events leading up to the situation. I think most of the opinion here (seddit) would be to "turn the page, learn something from it, and move on" when a girl stops showing interest. Though, there does seem to be a lot of guys here who initially hit it off with women in general, but later somehow steer it the interaction into the dirt days or weeks later. I would guess it is becau…

I think your post was great information. Here is something I would be even more interested in hearing from you: Say you liked a guy and were sending him these genuine "signals." What are some things that guys have done with you in the past that made you stop doing these? And when you were compelled to stop, were you ever able to recover from that and feel genuinely attracted to that guy again?

I was in the exact same boat. I would say whatever fits into the "genuinely appreciative, yet completely unaffected" category, but never anything scripted. Having girls opening you (instead of the other way around) is not a bad problem to have, so don't let their compliment trick you into giving them complete control of the conversation. Simply move the conversation to whatever is on your mind at the time and go from there. If it's boring, then don't lead such a boring life!

No. 6 feels like the classic "never take advice from women about how to attract women" type of advice. Seems like it would put you in a mode of actively looking/anticipating opportunities to complement a woman, which is needy and disingenuous. Funny how it peripherally conflicts with your view on #3. I say dudes need to complement women if they feel genuinely inspired to do so, and for no other reason. Otherwise, great post. (oh yeah, almost forgot: You're pretty)
