It’s just, outside of it? Also snipping off foreskin is a surgery people get of their own accord as well (although I’m sure less frequently). Not to justify it at all, but I feel like there are people like that in all different belief systems. Any movement taken too far should be addressed by the people on the movement's side, and I agree there's definitely a lack of that oftentimes. However, I also believe that some people are more passive or less invested advocates? Most feminists are just somewhere on the normal end of the spectrum - I absolutely detest when people use the most extreme people to represent a whole movement. It's so much more nuanced than that. Feminism by definition is just the goal of equality between men AND women, it isn't about women winning over men or anything like that.
