That would still only apply for new contracts signed after the change.

They'll need to change their policy otherwise anyone could stand up and sue them.

Hey, I'm just here offering another possibility for this case, you're the one with your hands over your ears going "nonononno, you're wrong she's a bad person". I don't have details, I'm not saying she's definitely a good person, all I have is another possible explanation as to why this case is happening/happened. Her insurance should handle it, as I've already said it could have done that already and is trying to get whatever money it can from the homeowners insurance because for some reason in…

I don't know enough about the US legal system to say anything on that and somehow I don't quite think you're intimate with the legal system either. It could just be that insurance companies were bickering this long over how much the homeowners insurance would pay back to the health insurance. Also It does appear that the suit was originally filed in early 2013. So it was filed over 2 years ago and the mom passed a year ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/AdviceAnimals/comments/3om047/introducing_scumb…

And for all we know this case is her health insurance indirectly suing the homeowners insurance to recover anything that it can.

Hey fuckface. For all we know her health insurance did cover it and it's now the health insurance indirectly suing the boys father's homeowners insurance. I don't know how it is in the USA where I'm assuming this happened but it's a fairly regular occurrence where I am (also didn't know that alleged thing about insurance not being discussed inside the courtroom)

Lawyer here. If you want us to stop filing suits like this, tell the insurance companies to start paying what they owe. I guarantee this woman made a claim with the boy's father's homeowner's insurance. They said "oh, you're going to sue your nephew? Good luck with that" even though they are contractually obligated to pay the claim. They know lawyers are not allowed to mention insurance at trial (collateral source rule), so it just sounds like this woman is suing her nephew. However, it's really…

Why is it that if a woman sleeps with a lot of men she's called a slut but when I do it I'm suddenly gay?

True, but it would be within their rights to ban him because first, it's against the rules. Second 'omg it's a guy, get rid of him!'

Interesting but tbh, I giggling at The male/female ratio in college now approaches 40/60. My college class has 2 women in it .. .. ..

Technically they'd be right to ban him because it's a subreddit intended for woman's perspectives and this poem as about from a man's perspective.

So what you're saying is girls aren't as good as guys? that's why it's unfair to have a guy playing? facepalm sexism at work right there.
