One of my favourite RP quips is "dating a single mom is like playing somebody else's saved game"

Can I ask if you feel any differently about single mothers versus non-mothers? I mean, at a gut level?

Powerful words; thank you.

I have the dumps, I'll poke around them tomorrow as I don't much trust the media's reporting.

I hear you. It's possibly the scariest thing I can think of. I'd say thank Zeus for genetic testing but if rumours are true it has to be done a) before signing the birth cert b) before spending any amount of time with the child and c) somewhere other than France/Germany.

I know, and I don't want to sound like I'm belittling their suffering or encouraging her action, but the RP-truth is that these things can and do happen, these woman do exist and can emerge from previously 'good' women. My takeaway has always been that we should use RP knowledge to lower those odds. Read enough of the sub though and you'll still see cases of text-book application that end up sour. Honestly, having so many FRs, horror stories, and just plain raw data is what has shifted my mind o…

If I could catch a ride on a mega-eagle the moment I was done that would be great.

True, but to me that smells more of fear of being cuckolded, which presumes you have already invested in them. I'm not sure I'd care if a hookup called me another name, ring or not.

Meh. Valid strategy. Don't hate the player...

Naturally, instantaneously. But then you'd wonder why you were with a women who failed in what should be a cake-walk for her.

There's talk of credit card numbers, which could be copied but is a level harder than just faking names/photos.

There's a sick thrill in the destruction of something, or the theft of someone else's woman. If she cuckolds him with you, you get offspring with no investment on your part. Seems like an evolutionarily useful thing to encourage.

Epigenetics works that way however.

You wouldn't get the niggling voice in the back of your head telling you that she's essentially a child? As /u/stoic_style suggested though, why sit and wonder about it when I could go out and find out for sure, and enjoy the process.

the window of what you'll tolerate will change as you gain more skills in managing women. That makes sense, maybe the downsides of the smart ones can be handled with RP thinking. Worth a shot anyway. Thanks for the solid advice.

What do you think would be the main stumbling blocks? i.e. what everyday things involve faith in a way that would be a problem?

I've seen the same, I think the social structures of religion are the original Red Pill. I think you're right, she can believe what she wants, as long as it's not so completely ridiculous that I loose all respect for her. As /u/AlphaAsFAQ mentioned though, there's the issue of her propagating her faith to kids / trying to convert me (though that sounds funny).

That's the big fear, I can put up with her silliness but dragging my kids into that mess is too far. I think that probably answers my question, I know I want kids, so why bother with an LTR if I know I can't get what I want. The virginity and enthusiasm to supplicate to their husband aspects sound fun though. Oh well.

I've found that the truly sharp ones tend to continuously circle around depression, which is why I thought there might be a sweet spot. Smart is sexy, but a joyful girl sounds better sometimes. Presuming they're mutually exclusive, of course (as is my experience).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
