2	A scientist explains what men don't understand about dead bedrooms. I think she's right. This clashes interestingly with the ideas of the affirmative consent crowd. 3	Women have more freedom than they’ve ever had in history, but they still choose to sell their bodies for income Women these days have good career prospects relative to men. They don't have good career prospects relative to the big swaths of American society that were able to support a family on one income 50 years ago. Also I suspect some of this has to do with a generalized fear of having any real power that has become popular in the West lately.
