If you like Behind the Bastards, also give It Could Happen Here a listen. Robert Evans does this podcast as well.

My 17 year old could eat an entire brown bag of groceries a day. I had an appetite like that as a teenager as well and completely forgot that's what it was like.

What is that facial hair he has?! It's like he tacked a moldy kiwi to his chin.

I wish FDS had business cards we could slip to women to tell them how much better it is here and to join FDS.

Me too, except mine comes from my parents. They both do not express much interest of my life and hobbies and only call when they want to vent to someone. So every year, I hear the " you are so difficult to buy gifts for". This year especially really showed that disparity because when asked what I wanted for my birthday and Christmas, I first told them nothing. When they didn't agree to that ("because we have to get you something!"), I gave them a list with different things I could have bought my…

I would also add "triggered", "tyranny", "owned" (as in, they won an argument with someone). I hear this shit all the time at my job and it is ALWAYS from far right men who use it to mock other people's opinion.

Have you looked into adding landscaping to the yard? Really TALL landscaping, like bamboo or even reed rolls that are lightweight and can be stapled to the fence. Or perhaps you can grow something on a trellis. This totally sucks for you and I'm sorry you have to resort to hiding.

When I have those moments of existential crisis (what do I want, what makes me happy, etc), I really like watching Nathaniel Drew's videos on YouTube. I find them very grounding and it helps me to find my footing on getting back to what matters most to me. For me lately, it's being able to give permission to myself for creative outlets. Creative pursuits are not a waste of time and allowing myself to indulge something for the singular sake of enjoying it, rather than turning it into a side hustl…

This is going to be difficult for you, no lies about that. But it will be the right thing to do because you know that you deserve happiness and can have it, regardless of what he will tell you. We are all rooting for you!

It's the same idea as saying all men prefer someone who wears only natural makeup. Great, then they can date someone who likes natural makeup as well. Don't try to drag those of us who love makeup and put our time, effort, and artistry into our look. I'm hear that shit constantly: "what does your man think of all that eyeliner?". If he didn't like it, he would find someone who doesn't wear heavy eyeliner! Why on earth would the expectation be that I stop doing something for me, that I enjoy, bec…

Just a heads up as well, the use of Nordic/Celtic symbolism has become very popular among the white supremacists groups in the US. Lots of these groups now associate themselves with those cultures because they see them as the whitest or most pure culture (good lord, even typing that makes me ill). So when dudes are crazy over the top making those associations of their heritage, it's a HUGE red flag.

I'm sorry, a sex points chart? Please tell me this isn't some toddler level reward chart where enough chores done equals sex because that is just the worst thing I can think of.

I work in a place where people have to show their drivers license on the regular and it amazes me how much some of these guys lie about their height on their license. I'd say at least 75% of the licenses I see have the height off by at least two inches, if not more.

I take myself for a lunch date every Tuesday. I go to my local library and grab whatever books call out to me that week. Then I have lunch at the little cafe near the library (been getting food to go since things have slowly re-opened). My co-workers tease me about my love of the library but it is such a fulfilling place for me and I read at a very fast pace. They think I'm boring as hell but I love it.

He cheated on Dita Von Teese! They were married for only a few years and she left due to his affairs and behavior, all of which he has repeated with apparently every woman he's ever dated.

I agree with the undressed part not really doing it. I'd much prefer to see a man wear a button up shirt casually without a tie than to see him without the shirt on. There was a far more allure to me in that casual arousal than just seeing some one without their clothes on. At that point, it's like great, seen you naked, now what?

Ooo, I've never heard of her before but based on that video, I want to read much more about her work!

This is my father to a T. He is on his fifth marriage and they have all ended the same way: he started cheating because he felt unappreciated. What the reality was is he got bored and didn't like the healthy boundaries his wife established. So it's her fault and he's getting too old to deal with someone else's bullshit like that and he "deserves to be happy, why doesn't she understand that?". For all the reasons that he chased after someone, those same reasons he uses against them later to justi…
