Sounds like you need to try dating others with a similar position on gender roles. If you've ever hung out with someone much younger, it can be startling the differences between you both developmentally. You're more experienced, typically more confident and secure, more financially stable usually... The older of the two (when it's a sizable enough difference), tends to hold more power.
